I can highly recommend it. The service was excellent.

We were really poorly treated by a man in this restaurant who I do know if was the owner or an employee. First, he refused to speak english, speaking only italian, even though he knew that we were foreigners. Besides, he was very rude with us during our dinner and refused to give us the discount that we were entitled to because we were in the hotel Victoria. It was one the worst experience that i’ve ever had in a restaurant. This man should learn how to deal with costumer and with other human beings in general.

Lakefront location 25 minutes walk from the center. Sumptuous atmosphere even if a little dated. The bathroom is not the best but clean! Abundant breakfast.

Good place to rest, it lacks a little more options at breakfast and they need to be more strict with people who smoke in the room, ours had a lot of cigarette smell but in general the service is good.

The center can also be reached quickly on foot. The breakfast was sufficient but boring, the same every day. You had to cook your own breakfast egg. There were no other egg dishes. You got full. But after a week you need a change. There are enough restaurants in the area so that you can have a good meal in the evening. The staff was friendly, housekeeping did a clean job. Overall I was satisfied and would come again.

At first it looked nice and smelled nice so we took a seat. We quickly got something to drink so that promised something. My husband and I ordered escargots and just like the animals themselves, it took quite a while before we got them. When we got them they were cold. When we sent these back, we received them burned back after a snail's pace of half an hour. Several tables have now been added for new guests. 75% of the tables lack food. There is only 1 cook in the kitchen who has to juggle between the pizza oven and the pans. My husband orders a beer and the wrong beer was quickly delivered. We have been waiting for our dinner for 1.5 hours now. After another 20 minutes it's there. It's nice. Too bad, it looked promising.

We stayed here overnight. The location of the hotel is great. The hotel is older, which is actually not a bad thing, but unfortunately nothing is being done. Cleanliness is mediocre and the beds looked as if someone had already slept in them

Since it is in Switzerland, the price is predetermined, but what you get is not good for the amount. There are better restaurants nearby to eat. Ambiance is great day and night, simply because of the view and location.

The same with a portion of pasta Bolognese for 21.00 CHF, the same with pizza for a 5 year old child. Bread, oil and vinaigrette were only taken from the table upon request during the meal. Parmesan was only added upon request after the meal had already been eaten. Cutting pizza around, even cutting with blunt knives is hopeless... Extremely disappointing restaurant! Never again!

It's a true Victorian hotel just opposite the lake. The view from the room is breathtaking. Rooms are comfortable. Food down in the restaurant was authentic Italian. We enjoyed the stay.

We always visit this place when we are in Lugano. Pizzas and pannna cotta are very tasty.

Very nice home. The friendly staff. Menu card nothing more but surprised because it was plentiful and everything was good and cooked perfectly. Terrace right on the lake, 2 minutes from the Admiral and Novotel. For those who are interested there is a dance hall (rather a cabaret because the women are superb (seen when they go out to smoke/get some fresh air!) whose owner must be the same as the establishment.
