Great restaurant. Maurizio, a great host. The food is always delicious. What more do you want...

The service could be improved a bit. Sometimes the waiting time is too long.

Reception was ok, it took a long time to take the order, pizza arrived in 15 minutes, was good. We asked for the bill three times without success, twice the boss even said he would be there soon, after waiting 30 minutes we paid at the buffet. The very poor/slow service makes the whole experience not worth mentioning. It's not worth it!!!

There were a lot of people there at Steiner Chilbi and I enjoyed the food.

We were there to eat during the Steiner Chilbi, the pastelets are highly recommended. It took a little longer to order, but after that it was quick and delicious. Will also be listening to music here at the next Steiner Chilbi...

I went to Husmatt for lunch today, March 2, 2022. The food was quite OK. The service staff, I think the boss's wife or girlfriend, a young girl and a young gentleman who are part of the family and a service daughter have no idea about gastronomy. That simply does not work.

Great service, super tasty hot stone meat variations with very fine sauces and great fries. Coupes are also wonderful, simply recommended.

The fillet came onto the plate without asking. Herb butter and salad dressing safely purchased, what a shame. No certificate control!!! There are better restaurants nearby

There are different innkeepers, now the food is very good.

The first time and definitely the last time!!!!!! I ordered a drink about 20 minutes later with the next drink I asked for the menu. The menu came quickly. At 1:00 p.m. 1:30 p.m. I still wasn't asked if I had found something to eat. I walked by probably 4-5 times. 50 minutes later I paid for the drinks. I don't force anyone to serve me a meal. You can see that gastronomy in Switzerland is in its infancy.

Ich war schon einmal hier, an einem späten Abend und die Chefin war *zum Glück* nicht da, sondern eine Top-Bedienung.Heute am Mittag eine reine Katastrophe.War geschäftlich mit einem Partner hier:Die Chefin hat uns von Anfang bis am Schluss bedient...sagen wir mal so.Zuerst hat Sie uns das Besteck und nur eine Menuekarte gebracht.Dann das Getränk und wollte schon die Bestellung aufnehmen was natürlich nicht möglich war, wenn das Menue einzeln studiert werden muss mit einer Karte.Danach ging es 15 min und ich fragte, ob wir bestellen können.Ihre Antwort und sehr laut: Was? Ihr habt noch nicht bestellt?Dann ist Sie gekommen und hat unsere Bestellung aufgenommen........ehm ja, Ich habe Menue 3 bestellt und statt Rösti habe ich gefragt, ob ich Spinat und Reis dazu haben kann. (ist auf der Menuekarte auch angeboten als Beilage)Mein Geschäftspartner Pouletbrüstchen mit Pommes.Dazu hat Sie uns gesagt, dass der Salat schon dabei ist und wollte weglaufen...ich sagte Ihr, dass ich gerne franz. Sauce dazu haben möchte....und sie sagte ja franz. Mein Geschäftspartner wollte ital. aber sie hat ihn nicht wahr genommen.Jedenfalls ist der Salat gekommen und beide mit franz Sauce, mein Partner sagte, er möchte aber ital.....die Reaktion dieser Frau war unglaublich und wieder sehr laut....... SIE HABEN NICHTS GESAGT...... und ich sagte doch, aber sie sind einfach weggelaufen ohne meinem Partner zu fragen. Sie sagte sie habe nichts gehört und auch mein franz. Wunsch nicht......Es geht weiter, nach ca. 45 min. hat Sie meinem Partner den Teller gebracht und ich musst noch 5 Min warten.....sie war nicht mal fähig an einem Zweiertisch die beide bestellten Teller gleichzeitig zu bringen und ..... bei meinem Teller fehlte der Reis.....Habe die Frau angesprochen und ganz nett und alles erklärt, dass erste was sie sagte war: es sei nicht ihre Schuld sondern der der Serviertochter!!! Ich glaubte meinen Ohren nicht!!! Sagte: Sie haben uns von Anfang bis jetzt bedient und geben jetzt der Serviertochter die Schuld??? Sie als Chefin???Nach hin und her habe ich ihr gesagt:Wissen wie was ihr Problem ist?Sie akzeptieren keine Kritik und keine konstruktive Kritik, da wurde sie noch lauter und frecher und sagt, doch das kann sie. Ich habe gesagt nein, das können Sie nicht punkt.Jedenfalls hat sie es danach noch fertig gebracht, die Serviertochter runter zu machen und ich habe mir gesagt NEIN; jetzt ist es genug.Bin zur Serviertochter gegangen und ihr gesagt, sie habe gar keine Schuld aber gar keine und verstehe eine solche Chefin beim besten willen nicht.Das sei ein reine Frechheit und danach noch ihr die SChuld zu geben obwohl sie us gar nicht bedient hat.Die Serviertochter wollte und das Essen zahlen und auf ihre Schuld nehmen und ich sagte, dass komme NIE IN BETRACHT...keine Diskussion.Schlussendlich hat sie es dann auf das Steakhouse-Konten genommen und sich entschuldig.Frage mich ernsthaft für was???Die Chefin hat in der ganzen Zeit und Kritik keinen Schimmer gemacht nur ein einziges Male sich zu entschulgen.....UNGLAUBLICH...... weiss nicht was diese Person für ein ernsthaftes Problem hat.SCHADE....... das Essen wäre sonst sehr gut aber ich werde mich hüten je wieder einmal zu gehen ja Geschweige mit Geschäftspartner.

Nice place, the salad served was beautifully prepared and very tasty. the beef fillets absolutely fantastic. the sauces not really convincing. a big disappointement was the horse fillet, tough to the tune that it wasn't edible at all. dissapointing also the reaction of the waiter who didn't really care about this.

Steakhouse mit grosser Auswahl. Sehr leckeres Essen, (kinder)freundliches Personal, schönes Ambienté. Angrenzend an die Terasse hat es einen kleinen Spielplatz. So kann man auf das Essen warten und die Kinder können auf dem Spielplatz herumtoben. Die Beilagen bei den Heisse-Stein-Menüs dürften etwas grösser sein.

Were it not for an advice, I would never have discovered this restaurant - slightly aside from the street and tucked behind a bakery. I got rewarded with an excellent dinner; as German-speaking people say: “Einfach wunderbar!”The dining room is bright and inviting, with generous space between the tables. A huge thumbs-up to Vanessa for the wonderful service - smiling and efficient during the entire dinner. The menu is short with focus on local produce and suppliers. As starter I ordered the porcini consomme - simple, tasty and revigorating. As main course I chose one of the house specialties: “Rindsschmorbraten” (beef pot roast) from the nearby Muotathal valley. Very tasty portion. Unreasonably I indulged myself with a classic Coupe Denmark - the Swiss Felchlin chocolate sauce was to die for!The bill amounted to CHF79, which remains within usual Swiss price standards. I will definitely come back!

We were 15 people and in order to have a drink, the condition was not motivated to serve us. .It was a shame if you ordered it once!

The food is not only beautifully prepared but also of high quality and very good value for money. The service staff is competent and warm, we heartily recommend the restaurant - even traveling further afield is worth it for this culinary experience and the beautiful garden terrace.

Wir konnten das Zivilhochzeitessen unseres Sohnes in der Husmatt feiern.Die 9 Erwachsenen und die drei Kinder konnten a ka carte das ihnen passende aussuchen. Alles war fein, sehr gut gemacht und präsentiert.Die Weinkarte ist gut dotiert und es hat sehr gute Preis/Leistungsverhältnisse.Restaurant Husmatt ist ein sicherer Wert. Wir kommen wieder.

Bin durch Zufall heute in Steinen Gelandet. Habe das Restaurant Husmatt gesehen. Neubau, modern eingerichtet.Habe das Menü bestellt. Verschiedenen Fisch mit Safran Risotto. Vorher eine Suppe und Salat. War alles toll zubereitet und angerichtet. Der Service, kompetent und sehr freundlich.Diese Adresse kann man nur weiterempfehlen. Ich werde mich demnächst am Abend verwöhnen lassen.

Wir lieben das Restaurant Husmatt, allem voran wegen seines grossartigen, kreativen und passionierten Kochs und seinen sehr freundlichen und kompetenten Mitarbeitern. Oft lassen wir uns einfach mit einem Menu überraschen und bestellen - da wir vegan leben - nicht à la carte. Die Dreigangmenüs sind immer frisch, überraschend und geschmacklich eine Wucht.

Die Beefer-Rindsfilet waren absolut fein und die Garstufe wie bestellt. Ebenso fein waren das Rindscarpaccio wie auch das Vitello Tonatto als Vorspeisen. Ein sicherer Tipp für ein gelungenes Nachtessen

Das Essen war fantastisch! Der Koch hat ein wunderbaren 3-Gänger gezaubert, mit sehr viel Liebe zubereitet und uns einfach nur tief beeindruckt. Vom Amuse-Bouche bis zum Dessert hin war alles nur mit den besten und frischesten Zutaten gekocht, sehr einfallsreich kombiniert und mit viel Hingabe angerichtet.Das Servicepersonal war zuvorkommend und freundlich. Jeder Wunsch wurde sofort und schnell erfüllt. Als während dem Hauptgang die Teller langsam leer wurden, kam sofort das Küchenteam mit heissen Gefässen und hat jedem nochmals so viel nachgereicht, wie man haben möchte. So konnte jeder praktisch einen zweiten Teller geniessen und die Highlights nochmals kosten.Wir hatten einen tollen Abend im gemütlichen Rahmen und wurden dabei wunderbar verköstigt. Sogar als die Rechnung zum Schluss kam, waren wir angenehm überrascht: Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war und ist unschlagbar.Das Restaurant Husmatt in Steinen besticht durch einen topmodernen Auftritt. Alles ist neu und sehr hochwertig. Das Restaurant selber sehr gemütlich, einladend und natürlich auch gepflegt und sauber. Mit den vielen gratis Parkplätzen rund ums Restaurant und die Rollstuhlgängigkeit des ganzen Quartiers ist wirklich ein Jedermann/Frau willkommen.Wir werden noch viele Male wieder kommen.

Fantastic cuisine (meat dishes and fine vegan food available), great food, perfect service, very good prices, courteous staff, all wishes were fulfilled. Nice place, beautifully decorated and very modern. It even has a great terrace lounge for warmer days. The restaurant even has rooms for events, celebrations, lectures, etc.

Mit einem guten Freund auf dessen Empfehlung in dieser Entdeckung, traumhaft gegessen. Bereits der Empfang durch die Partnerin des Chefs war sehr freundlich und kompetent in der Weinberatung. Das Essen vom Amuse bouche, zur Vorspeise, Currysuppe und eine Kalbsterrine war sehr fein, dann der Rehrücken auf Vorbestellung einfach himmlisch. Ein Restaurant das sicher einen rasanten Aufstieg vor sich hat. Vielen Dank. Komme gerne wieder.

Kenne den Küchenchef B.G und das Küchenteam von früher da ich bei Ihm die Lehre absolviert habe, damals noch im Pluspunkt im Brunnen.Nun hat er den grossen Schritt gemacht und das Husmatt übernommen.Die Menukarte ist übersichtlich und es gibt für jeden Geschmack etwas, jetzt auch Wildsaison!Die Gerichte sind mit viel Liebe zubereitet und haben immer noch die Qualität oder den Style von dem Küchenchef, wenn nich nochmal ein Level höher, welches ich bereits von ihm kenne!Das Restaurant ist sehr sauber, sowie Toilette.Der Service ist sehr freundlich und liest jeden Wunsch von den Lippen ab, fragt auch immer wieder zuvorkomment ob alles passt, noch ein Schluck Wein eingeschenkt werden darf, einfach Kleinigkeiten der für mich ein super Service ausmacht!Die Preise sind günstig und fair! Welches jedes Restaurant in Zug topt!Ein Besuch ist lohnenswert, egal ob mit Familie oder ein romantisches Diner!

The buffet brunch offered is from 8.30am to 1pm on the last Sunday in every month only. We arrived about 9.30am and the car park was already full but with ample parking further up the street or in the village. The restaurant was very busy as we arrived and we were led to our table previously booked. It seems you have to book early, we had been booked for about 2 months.Although busy there is adequate room between the tables so it does not 'feel' busy. The atmosphere was very nice with a family atmosphere and a small play area with Lego.The food was constantly being replenished and there was a good range of food - lovely breads, croissants (Vollkorn Gipfli were excellent!), Bircher Müsli, cheeses, hams, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, fried eggs, bacon, sausage, Rösti as hot food. All were of excellent quality.If there is one complaint it would be that the coffee was not too good, but that is of course a matter of taste. All round it was a good experience.This said, it was a lovely breakfast overall and we will go again.The breakfast was CHFr 34.50 per person with all drinks included.As a recommendation for improvement, it would be good to see other cakes there rather than a lot of pastries covered in chocolate.
