Siamo rimasti delusi. Il prezzo è di un 5 stelle. Quando fai pagare una camera 650chf a notte è inammissibile arrivare a colazione a trovare tutti ammassati e in coda al caffè , all buffet e per avere un tavolo. Sembrava di essere alla mensa della scuola!! Nessuna separazione tra i tavoli. Inutile dire che in piena pandemia COVID quando ne stiamo forse appena uscendo, non ci siamo per niente sentiti al sicuro. Troppa gente, tutto troppo vicini!!! Avessi saputo che L hotel era così pieno non sarei venuta. Per lo stesso prezzo abbiamo soggiornato in un 5 stelle sulle piste a Zermatt e con servizio al tavolo almeno per il caffè a colazione. Non siamo andati allo spa perché non ci sentivamo al sicuro. Non tornerò.

Wir durften eine Nacht im HUUS Hotel übernachten und waren von Anfang bis Ende sehr positiv überrascht. Wir hatten anfangs etwas bedenken, weil es angeblich sehr beliebt bei Familien mit kleinen Kindern ist, da wir aber in der Nebensaison hier waren, haben wir davon wenig mitbekommen. Aufgrund der Coronaregeln gab es feste Essenszeiten, welche uns aber nicht gestört haben. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und qualitativ hochwertig, auch für VerganerInnen hat es genügend Gerichte auf der Karte. Beim Dessert und Frühstück sehen wir Verbesserungspotenzial (für Veganer wenig Auswahl), der Service war hervorragend und sehr anständig und hilfsbereit, ebenfalls sehr freundliches Personal an der Rezeption. Der Wellnessbereich ist schön gestaltet, einzig was etwas schade ist, dass der Ruhebereich oberhalb vom Hallenbad liegt, wenn viele Gäste im Pool sind, kann es schon mal laut sein, da die Fenster nicht gut isoliert sind. Es gibt aber auch einen Aussenbereich mit Liegestühlen für Ruhesuchende. Das gesamte Hotel ist sauber und sehr modern. Was uns auch sehr gefallen hat, war der grosse Spieleraum mit Billiard, Tischfussball und Playstations. Hervorzuheben ist auch das sehr schön gestaltete Zimmer, der Einrichtungstil des gesamten Hotels wirkt sehr einladend, weltoffen und modern. In den Zimmern gab es kuschelige Bademäntel, Slippers und grosse Frottetücher (findet man selten) Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Das Hotel ist schön und die Aktivitäten sind Top. Das Bett ist etwas hart aber sonst ist das Zimmer echt schön, leider wurde unsere Sicht auf dem Balkon vom Dach versperrt. Zu Corona-Zeiten waren die Mitarbeiter leide etwas überfordert und auch einige unfreundlich. Das Essen im Restaurant ist ok. Ich kann jedem nur das Fondue empfehlen und Moses als Kellner, er hat das Essen abgerundet :)

Incredible hotel! Loved it for the staff that was very kind, for its amazing interior decoration (also on the room, not only the lobby!) and the service overall. They have a huge buffet for breakfast that cover all your needs. I went with my friend that is gluten intolerant and they had all the alternatives (bread, lactose-free milk, also at the restaurant with gluten-free pasta etc.). When we had to leave the hotel we couldn’t take the breakfast because we had to depart early, so we kindly asked the reception if we could have a little take away and they prepared us 3 mini sandwiches with an energy bar plus an apple juice! The spa is very enjoyable with the pool and two saunas. To complete your day, the lobby is very enjoyable with the chimney and terrace. There is a bar where you can ask for your favorite drink (the cocktails are amazing!!). They have a huge skiroom and also rental shop at the first level of the garage. The guy responsible is super nice and passionate about skiing! They have a wide range of top quality equipment, and they also rent sledges if you don’t ski or snowboard! Totally recommend it!! 🙌🏻

Overall the staff is very helpful and kind, special thanks to the kids club attendants who went above and beyond to keep our kids happy. But we did feel unwelcome by the reception manager, who was a “no” man to the point of lying about the availability of half-board (turned out it was actually available), or contradictory to what was offered by reception earlier (we were suggested to test drive the new Defender, and then later actually asked for it he simply threw a blunt no). Even if these things had valid reasons, they were not communicated with consistency, transparency and hospitality which should be expected from the establishment of this level.

Mit der Aussage an der Rezeption, dass nur 30 Personen total diesen jeweils nützen können, aber die Gäste die Anzahl selbst nachzählen müssen, sagt alles aus. Dies kann nicht funktionieren. Als wir am Abend gegen 18Uhr vor Ort waren, hat es auch keine Handtücher mehr vor Ort gegegeben, sodass wir uns diese im Waschraum ein Stock tiefer holen musste. Leider hat das Restaurant die Qualität lang nicht gehalten. Der englishsprechende Kellner war unfreundlich, hatte nicht Spass an seiner Arbeit und behandelte den Gast alles andere als gut. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt gab es Tagliatelle mit weissem Trüffen als Hauptspeise. Wir durften dies auch als Vorspeise bestellen. Nachdem die Bedienung die Trüffel Waage nicht korrekt bedienen konnten und wir jeweils 1 Gramm bestellten, wurden uns zum Schluss 3 Gramm jeweils verrechnet. Die Tagliatelle mit Rahm und etwas Gewürzen hat CHF 47 gekostet. Nach unserer Nachfrage waren die Nudeln nicht mal selbst gemacht. Zudem kostete der weisse Trüffel CHF 27, was grundsätzlich i.O. ist, aber wie gesagt wurden uns 3 Gramm verrechnet. Diese Vorspeise war teuerer als jedes Hauptgericht und dann nicht mal mit selbst gemachten Nudeln, was nicht mit den Preise und der versprochenende Qualität entspricht. Die englishsprechende Bedienung meinte, dass dies der Preis sei. Zum Glück kam sein Vorgesetzter, welche etwas kooperativer war und meinte, dass sich bereits ein anderer Gast über den hohen Preis beschwert hat. Da steckt absolut noch Entwicklungspotenzial beim HUUS Gstaad...

Wir durften 4 wunderschöne Tage im HUUS verbringen. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und stehts hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder und freuen uns schon heute.

I am leaving a 5-star review as Huus have been absolutely amazing about rescheduling our booking due to Covid restrictions. I can’t wait to visit!

We stayed at Huus in January 2021 and unfortunately, I don’t have anything positive to say about this hotel. The rooms are blah, the bathroom is so tiny, you can barely shut the door once you step inside, and the on premises facilities are poor and dated. The Spa area is so tight, it can barely accommodate 8 guests at the same time. It’s so far from enjoyable or relaxing, that we stopped going altogether. The food at the restaurant and bar was alright but that was quickly ruined by the incredibly rude service from the girls working the bar area in the evening. Do yourself a favor and book the Alpina. I wish I did.

Very Stylish and cosy hotel with great amenities (nice rooms with views on the mountain, stylish restaurant, lounge and bar, sauna with panoramic view) and proposed services. However service at reception was not of the level expected, not helpful, employees totally lost when asked questions/recommandations...(except the person who welcomed us upon arrival, who was very helpful) Restaurant also not at the expected level for such expensive prices, both in terms of service and food quality/diversity. Come equipped with earplugs: rooms on second floor are super noisy, feels like whole room is vibrating to the sound of the music upstairs..

Nice, modern and stylish hotel. Beautiful bar and very spacious lobby. Rooms are really nicely decorated. Food at the restaurant was really good. Service however needs to more efficient. Even if it was the first day of the season lots of things with staff were not ok for a 4 star hotel (especially welcoming, room service & restaurant staff).

Had a lovely stay. The room view was amazing. Room was small but cozy. The restaurant has delicious pasta! Staff are very courteous. Spa is also nice. Great place for vacation. Will definitely return!

Nicht zu empfehlen für Risikogruppen von COVID/sehr schöne Zimmer und sehr nettes Personal Leider besteht kein Schutzkonzept, um die Gäste und das Personal vor COVID19 zu schützen. -Kein Plexiglas bei Reception und Bar -Teilweise lange Warteschlangen vor der Reception, so dass 1,5 Meter Regel nur teilweise eingehalten werden konnte. -Personal trägt keine Masken -Wellnessbereich ist relativ klein für die Grösse des Hotel. After spending 30 minutes complaining, they finally moved us to a renovated room advertised on their website. 2) it was my birthday weekend so my wife called ahead and arranged a surprise birthday cake in the room. Despite email confirmation with the manager, there was nothing prepared and the front desk staff denied having anything to do with it. My wife had to argue for over 20 minutes, showed them the email correspondences, before someone acknowledge it. Still, no apology was given. 3) no information was given about the surroundings. When we went to the Gstaad tourism office, we were told "Huus hotel should've given a Guest Card for access to surrounding businesses and tourism spots." 4) they refuse to honor Marriott Bonvoy Gold status. We were told by several staff that "we have a relationship with Bonvoy but we are separate companies" 5) list goes on.... ------ EDIT: Response to management note below: The response from management is simply hilarious. We tested the regular restaurant which is very pricey for what it is. It's not bad, but nothing special. The menu never changes and there are no 'daily specials' either so gets boring very fast. I was very disappointed that given our cases of food poisoning, no gesture/compensation was offered. A round of drinks would have been the least!
