iBERIA in Zürich

Iberia exceeded all my expectations. Excellent service, excellent food, the ambiance was cosy, and we felt welcome and well looked after right from there start. The waiter recommended a good wine. We were 8 people and we had 'a bit of everything' (all you can eat) tapas. Thanks for this wholesome experience.

The paella with scampi was very delicious. The staff was friendly and the meal was enjoyable. I couldn't see the store from the first floor along the road, but the store and restrooms were clean and hygienic.

The food was great, but the service is pretty slow and the some of the staff doesn't understand English or German very good; we ended up with the wrong order, because of that. It's also rather expensive. Still 4 stars for how greatly delicious it is.

Fantastically delicious tapas and great main courses. Everything tastes very authentic as I know it from Spain. Unfortunately a bit loud in closed rooms.

I recommend the paella. You can only order 2 or more servings, but it's a taste you'll want to try at least once. Other dishes were also delicious.

An incredible place!! The best croquettes without a doubt, and some delicious cheeks! The people are very attentive and friendly! Highly recommended

The food was normal and the service is not that good because we need to order something at 9 pm but said the kitchen was closed then come back and said kitchen was open, the service not good

It was a really good experience. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options available. Vegetarian food without onion and garlic is available as well.

From the outside the place doesn't look like a restaurant, but on the inside it's really nice. Food,service and drinks sangria was really good

We visited specifically because of the good reviews and were disappointed. The food wasn't good. The campas were watery, the meatballs were so chewy that you could barely chew them and on the contrary the calamari were almost raw like rubber. We also waited a long time (about 1 hour) for the warm tapas. Only the service was good. Still not recommended!

I found this place on my last day on Zurich and it was the best thing that happened to me in my vacation, the ambience amazing, the service awesome but specially the food I don’t even have words to describe how good the food was. The dishes were excellent and the waitresses very friendly. But I'm not giving it five stars because something bothered me: I was taken aback to see that the waiter, after clearing the neighboring table, didn't clean it, but was happy to return the set of table with lots of crumbs on it. This is unbelievable. I hope that in the kitchen they pay more attention to cleanliness.

Very good experience from the moment you call to reserve. The service was excellent, the staff is attentive to you without being ostentatious. I had not eaten paella in a restaurant again due to 2 bad experiences I had. It was a good decision to have ordered one. It was very rich. Good recommendation of the dishes and wines by the waiter; plus good portions.

Absolutely delicious tapas in a pleasant atmosphere. The service is very good, the people are friendly. The portions are generous and therefore in the end a very good price/performance ratio.

Terrible organization!!!! I am extremely disappointed with the organization's handling of reservations. Despite having a confirmed reservation, we received a cancellation email just hours before our scheduled appointment, leaving us without plans for my Birthday. Upon calling to inquire, we were informed that they had a reservation for a large group of people. I hope the organization improve this.

Authentic Spanish with fine tapas. Matching wine and attentive service. We had an excellent paella for four people with chicken and seafood. Wonderful, the rice “al dente” (or whatever that means in Spanish). Muchissimas Gracias.

It is a perfect place for all types of food. The varied and exquisite menu. The flavor, special and unforgettable. Detailed and first-class service. The atmosphere is very "warm" and calls for the activity to be intimate and special. Highly recommended!

My friends and I were looking to feel at home and it couldn't be better than in Iberia tapas with the best service they can give you, especially the waiter JESUS, he served us perfectly and we didn't miss anything and the food was very good

Well, obviously she is proudly trying to take a photo of the food since she brought me to a Spanish restaurant. I rarely go out to eat for some reason. It was really good I must say, and my first time probably eating a Paella so I can't compare it with something else. She wanted me to try octapus too. Although we do it in Greece too, it's a popular dish. No surprises there but the special recipe was nice! The waiters also call you "caballero", which when translated literally means "horse rider" or "cowboy". Awkward but funny, at least for me.

Had dinner there recently with a group of friends. Absolutely lovely atmosphere with what seems to be majority Spanish patrons, so you know the food is authentic! Our main waiter was Jesús and he was an absolute delight. Extremely attentive with friendly banter and great food and wine recommendations. My friend who suggested the place has been there several times now and I can see why! Will definitely be heading back again.

Great food, great service and affordable price. We have been at this restaurant 6 times in the last 6 months and have tried almost all of the tapas options at this point. We especially love the huevos rotos, puntas de solomillo, carrillera, pan con tomate (with manchego!), among many others. Their tinto de verano is also really great and they always make a clara (beer with fanta de limon). The staff all speak spanish but they also speak english and german and they are always nice and in a good mood. We usually leave feeling quite full and pay between 30-40chf per person with drinks. Highly recommend!

A place where they make you feel at home. Very good, fast and efficient service. Cuisine and tapas, fabulous! Very rich and fresh Albariño wine. Without a doubt recommended to spend a good afternoon or night as a couple or group of friends/family :)

The food was underwhelming and the service was slow.

The service was good. The ambience outside is more of a matter of taste (busy street). The tapas were okay but the arroz negro was considerably oversalted.

Food is decent but doesn't stand out in any way. The service is taking long buffers to come to the table and they don't bring any olives or alolioli bread. The water was opened before coming to the table and no sign of the cap on the waiters tray. Prices are high in comparison to what you get. Portions are small.

We really enjoyed the tapas, but it was quite strange and unprofessional that even though we were still eating, several waiters kept asking us if they could clear the plates. It was obviously the sign with the fence post that we had to clear the table!

I had heard great things about this restaurant before my trip to Zurich, and obviously I had to try it. It met all my expectations!🤩 The atmosphere is very cozy and the service treats you as if you were at home. You have to stop by and try the black rice, the Galician blonde tartare and the cheesecake. Without a doubt the best of the menu🤤, everything delicious!🤌

We were passing through and found this place located on the first floor. At first we were a little skeptical, but once the atmosphere enveloped us, it was like being in Spain, which is appreciated being away from home, very good tapas and spectacular Galician blonde meat. I'm sure we will return!!!

Biggest disappointment in Zurich for a long time. Miserable service. Expensive for what you get. After 15 minutes at the table, we had to go get service. We also went to get the bread for the tapas ourselves. Nobody asked us for more drinks after the aperitif. Totally overrated. Doesn't live off local guests but probably more off the tourists in the nearby hotels. Tapas, yeah. The croquettes were good. Pulpo Galician also OK. Prawns were floury, sepia only tasted like the dough wasn't fried long enough, scallops were small and dry, but tasted good. The place was about half full. There were three of us. 5 tapas, 1 non-alcoholic mini beer, 2 red vermouths CHF 94.—. After the short round of tapas with still hungry and thirsty stomachs, we relieved the overwhelmed service (at least 6 people) and set off. Unfortunately, you'll never see us again and unfortunately we won't have anything good to say to our friends in the neighborhood. A pity.

Spanish tapas is one of my favourite European foods. Arriving in Zürich yesterday I tried to book this top rated restaurant in no avail. Today is Saturday, same thing, dinner is fully booked! so I booked lunch although we are not very hungry. Iberia Tapas didn’t not disappoint me! Everything is top notch! Should be one of the stops for anyone’s visit to Zürich!

This restaurant is in the first floor of an apartment building. I found it a bit strange, but completely forgot about it after I got in, because everything worked perfectly. The food was very tasty. My favourites were the octopus and the baby squid. The black beer was also very good. Service was nice and attentive.

Meat top! Sea flop, there are frozen mussels! The attempt to bring Spain to Zurich failed in that everything that didn't come from the sea was great. That's why 3 stars. But: Unfortunately, the mejillones, zamburiñas and prawns were frozen goods and not fresh and were only chilled for transport. You can tell this when eating because the prawns, for example, are slightly floury

Pleasant place to forget that you are not in Bodegas Portugal but in Zurich. Keep it up

This is a place in Zurich where you can find moderately priced Spanish cuisine. The garlic shrimp is delicious, and the Iberian pork cheek stew has a fantastic flavor. However, the peppers don't quite capture the authentic taste of Spain. The paella is also quite tasty.

The service is really nice, nice terraferma outside. Food is nothing impressive , but traditional and not expensive.

Come to this place because of a friend who recommended it to me. The place has very nice decoration, a little piece of Spain. It has a parking space on the ground floor, but it is almost always full, but about 3 minutes away you can park in the cemetery area, there is enough space. The food was very very delicious, we went for Tapas with Tinto de Verano 😋 delight. They have an extensive menu, with other exquisite and divine dishes in their presentation. Portions and prices are normal for Zurich. Ex. 3 people with 4 tapas and 4 drinks 100fr. The atmosphere and the attention of 10+ employees make it the joy of returning. Mr Tino and our waiter Mr Angel, with them we finished the super-late night we spent at Iberia Tapas. Thanks and greetings to the kitchen chef and other staff. Until next time!
