Like any other Ikea, everything is wonderful, only the parking fees almost knock your socks off.

Beautiful area and nothing to complain about.

Well positioned ikea shop. Much less crowded then one in Dietlikon near Zurich. Personal is not overloaded by requests thus is more friendly. A normal parking with enough places all the time again an opposite to the one near Zurich. Enjoyable location. Update 09.03.24 minus 2 stars for installing tv in the kinder zone of the restaurant. It is 2024 kids are all the time.in screens. What are you doing they are no longer playing but stupidly watching tv.

I can't recommend this restaurant more!! The last time I had Zurich shredded chicken with Röstitaler......the chicken was separated meat, which the chef confirmed to me! Mechanically separated meat is meat that is left on the bone after the large pieces of meat have been cut away! It is by far the cheapest meat, but you can tell that, no taste and sometimes very small pieces of meat!!...of course I haven't heard anything from my complaint to Ikea customer service to date!!

We bought curtains for our daughter about 3 weeks ago. Because they were too long, we ordered them to be shortened. The result was very disappointing, you could better call it handicraft work. I was at the information desk with the curtains on and was told that it was normal and that IKEA wanted it that way. a huge label on the curtain and folded very wide at the end. You still pay money for something like that today, it's a shame. I've always been happy with IKEA, but now I had to get rid of it.

Was in the restaurant with a colleague on Saturday, the chairs are being moved back and forth so loudly, it's simply deafening since the new floor was installed, you can't understand your own words anymore! Everyone who has to be there longer (staff) is almost unreasonable! Couldn't you help with felt pads on the chair legs???? Otherwise it's great for you! Kind regards Silvia

Was in the bed department. Want a bed which unfortunately was only available in the exhibition. The salesperson who trained was really very friendly and made everything possible. Friendly advice and really very patient. For me it would be employee of the month. So much passion to show. Brilliant.

If I had to resettle, I would probably do it here. Good furnishing ideas for limited living space that still have to prove their suitability in everyday life. I'm not used to being well stacked yet.

Absolutely awful. They rescheduled delivery 5 times without apology. It was a large order. We spent 2 nights in a hotel. The delivery guys were rude, and in a fighting mode. Wrote to management in CH and Sweden. They Could not care less. Why should they as long as they get away with it. Btw there weee no swiss people to be found in the supply chain.

I was sent away from a staircase by a very unfriendly employee for no reason. The employee was annoyed from the start and became increasingly unfriendly

Parking spaces for families are always used by single people or couples without children. Families with children who rely on the large parking area will unfortunately have to move away.

Very long waiting times for customer service.

I bought a cabinet that I designed myself. I didn't want to assemble it because it was too expensive. I assembled the cabinet myself. I didn't have any problems. But we had to put handles on the closet doors. I ordered it with the handles. They did not have any screw hole for attaching handles to the cabinet doors. Therefore, it is mandatory for you to purchase the assembly. I really regret it, I wish I had bought the products from another company .

It's all good, it's just a shame that so many cash registers are closed and have been switched to self-scanning

Disappointing experience with IKEA cabinet assembly My experience with IKEA cabinet assembly was extremely disappointing. After the initial assembly, parts were missing, the cabinet was damaged, and the light was wired so that it would be visible when looking at the cabinet. When I followed up on the complaint, I was informed that my case had not been forwarded. The new delivery did not provide a satisfactory solution as the cabinet was still damaged and installed crookedly. Likewise, all adhesives were not removed. Despite contacting customer service several times (over 3 hours on the phone), which was surprisingly very friendly, I was offered ridiculous compensation to cover the loss of the ten-year warranty. A huge trick from Ikea. Of course I refused this coffee money. In addition to the damages, neither my time spent on the installation nor the damaged ceiling was adequately compensated. This experience seriously disappointed my expectations of IKEA and I will be shopping elsewhere in the future. It is unfortunate that such a large company is unable to serve its customers satisfactorily. 1 star for Ikea, which they deserve at most for the friendliness of the women in customer support.

Great place to buy a large parking lot.

I usually go to the Ikea Spreitenbach - but I visited this one in Rothenburg with a friend at the weekend. The shopping experience was good as always. After shopping, we ordered hot dogs from the self-service machine and waited for our number to appear on the display. However, our number did not appear while subsequent numbers were already issued. So I went to the lady and asked very politely, she explained to me that it had two editions and our number would be prepared on the other side. There were quite a few people (as usual on Saturday), so we didn't notice it at all. When we arrived at the other counter and showed our number, the lady told us that our food was cold and that it was our own fault. I then explained to her that it wasn't obvious that there were two issues, whereupon she just looked at me angrily and turned to the next customer.

I've always been a fan of Ikea! But now I have seen that they have also transformed the changing room into a nursing room with comfortable armchairs! It was very pleasant!😍 Great for moms!

I had a great time and ate some meatballs. Not quite as good as in Sweden but still for like 5chf you can't really complain. I'm just padding out this review in order to get a google badge for a long review, wish me luck. Oh, but while I am here I should note, that I wouldn't recommend visiting the IKEA over the weekend if at all possible, it can be a mad house with parking and the like. You are better off I think just going to the online IKEA store , save yourself the headache, but you don't get any meatballs....

Quite busy at lunchtime. You might think the whole region comes here to eat. In addition, the waiting time was relatively long because only two checkouts were occupied.

Clean and organized. I received a coupon when joining the IKEA family, on the store's anniversary date (11/09) in which the cost of lunch was converted into shopping value 🤩 I thought it was sensational❗

Whoever sees one Ikea, sees them all. Same design, same quality.... same prime-time mess. It is regrettable to have to go to the park for those who shop at the establishment.

The offer is great including price/performance ratio. A visit to the restaurant is also always recommended. But every time I'm annoyed by the long waiting times at the checkout, especially if you want to pay in cash. A revision of the service offering is urgently needed here.

Everything you need for your home. Best bet for curtains, kitchen ware, knifes, and picture frames in all sizes. Candles and even plants. Very well organised. If you know what you need, skip the top floor, as that's just the presentation hall. Staff is very friendly too.

It's just "IKEA, once there, everything is included." My wife always dragged me there with her. I went there with her just for these hot dogs. Now it's become a regular shopping process.

Even though very rarely, I have to visit this annoying store because of my wife. Sometimes you spend a long time looking for an employee to ask something. When it comes to the cash register, I'm mostly annoyed when only one cash register is being operated in such a big store, so you have to do the cash register work yourself. It's also annoying that there are food products everywhere, on the stairs in front of the restaurant in the toilet, and in many other places there are chocolates and other products, isn't that a furniture store?? The furniture is not the cheapest and quality is poor. At the end the parking lot was ripped off.

I can't believe we have to pay for parking!!! And it's expensive!! Less than 30 minutes=2.-!! We were there to Click and Collect a Chair. Arrived home to assemble the chair, the wheels and screws were missing to assemble...!!! So we had to go back and pay for parking again!!!!!

We love IKEA. Only drawback: Play options for children in the restaurant are limited to a few screens. This does not at all reflect the great range of children's toys at IKEA. It would be nice if, for example, there would be a play kitchen in the children's area.

Always buy too many things here. Store could be neater. Struggle with online orders as they say one date for delivery and often deliver 3-4 days later! so frustrating when you are expecting a certain date scheduled at the check out when buying online.

Love this Ikea, plenty of parking but parking needs to be paid which doesn't seem buyer-friendly since it is a furniture-store. But I appreciate the effort of supporting being sustainable and green. Especially the return and sell in second-hand store where you can purchase used but wellkept goods/furniture for a lower price is a great idea

We have been waiting at the Click and Collection counter for 20 minutes and we are not being served. It would have been quicker and cheaper if we had gotten it from the store ourselves. And we could have saved ourselves the 9.95.

Bought 2 expensive pocket spring mattresses 2 years ago. Lately I've been having back pain again and again despite having had it for 14 days. When lying down, you can clearly feel a dip at the level of your buttocks and small of your back. Taking the mattresses and receipts to Ikea, had to put mattresses on floor before customer service. The woman said a colleague would come to check on her immediately. The colleague checked one mattress by feeling it with her hand and said that she could feel that it was a little softer here, but there was no hole. There is no replacement. I think it's an absolute impudence to make such a statement to the customer and only feel it with your hand. Testing it would have been wiser. But they make big noises about a 10-year guarantee, but it's proven that there isn't even a 2-year guarantee! Probably cheap labor. I should have listened to the "alleged consultation" two years ago. For me, IKEA no longer exists!

Neat, clear and friendly staff. At first I was irritated by the rainwater in the toulets, but I think it's a really nice idea. Addendum: We bought a pax cabinet online and ordered delivery with assembly. The delivery was timely and friendly. Unfortunately, two shelves were already damaged. We had to drive to Ikea ourselves to exchange it, otherwise we wouldn't have been able to make it to the assembly date, which was a bit tedious. Then came the day of assembly (already a week after delivery, which is quite a hassle). The fitter should have come between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m. At 9:50 a.m. the text message came that Ikea was canceling the appointment due to illness (mind you, we had been waiting all morning). For the new appointment I had to call an employee three times, which is quite tedious considering that we paid CHF 250.00 for the installation. The customer service representative Sven gave us a new appointment the following week, which took place, thank you Sven. From then on, the assembly was flawless and the employees at Sieber Transport were very friendly. But the communication between Ikea and customers was really bad for what we paid...

Great store for inexpensive home utensils and good food. Furniture is not really my taste, as it is often not of very high quality, but is cheap. Food is very inexpensive, I can recommend meatballs with fries/mashed potatoes to everyone. In addition, the hot dog is a must at the end of the shopping madness and, ideally, also a soft ice cream to-go.

The Ikea is great. The change that they no longer take children after 6 p.m. is a shame when it's open until 9 p.m. I hope that changes again 😔
