My 1 year old son hasn't finished his portion of pasta (rigatoni with oil and parmesan sold for 15.-!) We ask waiter X to take it away, response: "for 3 pasta?!". We tell him that yes, that will make up tomorrow's portion. Karma made it so that 10 seconds later, he broke 2-3 wine glasses while insulting us under his breath. My 7 year old niece goes to the waitress to ask to put a candle on my dessert, to finish in style, the desserts are served, no candle... The only 2 positive points that I see are: if you eat on the restaurant side, we are close to the park, so keep an eye on the children (unmaintained park, dangerous and broken room). The 2nd positive point, tasty dishes. Really a shame to have spent my birthday party in this rotten atmosphere! Is the issue of gluten so disturbing? Are these extenuating circumstances? Or just a few bitter waiters who don't want to work? We'll never know. I remind you that going to a restaurant should be a moment of pleasure, of sharing, of not cooking and being served with a smile, having a good time, in 2023 going out to eat is a luxury (400.- chf in total ). So I don't agree with being caught like this when we leave our money. Really a shame, because 2nd experience at Vicolo 39, the first nothing to complain about on the pizzeria side, that's why we went back there. But now, they have just lost customers. And to think that for once we were calm when it came to children.... Tampis!
