Il Pentagramma in Zürich

I had a very nice sandwich. The vegetale, with a bunch of veggies. The mozzarella and all the veggies were really fresh and crispy. The bread was also fantastic and had a nice firmness! The portion size and the toppings available were really good and the food is very affordable. The food was delicious, and the staff were very kind and nice. I would 10/10 recommend this place. It's in the city center and very clean.

BEST PANINI in Zurich!! I've been eating here regularly for over 15 years... and have NEVER been disappointed!! EVERY sandwich makes your mouth water, simply DELICIOUS!! The food is fresh and of the highest quality. The ambience is typically Italian, but modernized. The service is excellent and the owners - both previous and current - are highly motivated, committed and super friendly. Avanti cosi!! ;-)

Ordered a panini, at home I saw they forgot to put on the eggplant. Also they put on very few mozzarella, so in total it left the sandwich quite dry. Needed to add some toppings at home to make it tasty. So for 12 CHF I expected more.

Paninis from “il Pentagramma” For some time now there has been a paninoteca near the HB, which prepares delicious Italian paninis. The store could just as easily be in Bologna. The ingredients are the same as you would get anywhere in Italy and will definitely fill you up. Recently, they have also been available from Just Eat and can be delivered almost anywhere in Zurich. The paninis are great for spicing up your next boring lunch meeting.

Great lunch spot in Zurich. Excellent paninis at a very affordable price! Paninis average about 12fr, and are very filling. You can pick from the menu or get them to customise one with your own choice of filling. The shop owners are so friendly and welcoming, even if you don't speak German. They accept both cash and card. And have both takeaway and dine-in.

Underrated place in Zürich. It’s a perfect spot to get your lunch to-go. It just like subway but Italian style and way better! The paninis will cost und between 12-17.- which is a fair price for the size of it. I recommend adding the pesto to your panini. Super friendly staff.

My favorite paninis in Zurich for many years. No matter what I eat, I have never been disappointed. And I really miss the signed Buffon shirt from the previous owner. For some time now you have been able to pay by card, which I personally really like.

Small but super fine panini shop, not far from Zurich HB! A real Italian takeaway with fresh paninis filled with delicious ingredients. The staff are all Italian, happy to give advice and are funny and courteous. If you're planning a romantic lunch, this is the wrong place, but if you want to fill yourself up quickly and deliciously, you've come to the right place. A welcome change from kebabs and hamburgers :)

I wish I could give this place a 6/5 because it’s just that good. Having tried every panini on the menu and the daily specials, I can safely say this is as good as it’s going to get. The meats are all fresh and maybe even imported from Italy as the quality has set the bar very high for other places to compete for. The bread, too, seems freshly made as well as the mozzarella. Combine all that and toast it, truly mouthwatering. The best thing about this place is it’s price and it’s very welcoming staff who never stop smiling, from their Italien greeting when they serve you, all the way to the till when they serve you the mouth watering sandwich. Everyone owes it to themselves to visit at least once. If If I could suggest an item on the menu it would be the Genovese

We recommend. Fresh and high quality ingredients. The bread is made from mother yeast (it: Lievito madre). To get to know you, I recommend the following compilation: * Regular or whole wheat bread * Mascarpone * Arugula * Zucchini * Bresaola or cooked ham It sounds very simple and unspectacular, but in my opinion there is no better combination.

They make great Italian sandwiches (just ask not to add the mascarpone!)

One of the best snack bars in the whole city. Friendly staff, great panini with fresh ingredients and delicious bread, very fair prices, and everything really Italian. Just perfect. The fact that you can only pay in cash may be inconvenient in individual cases, but I generally like it.

I came here after looking for a cheap eat near central Zurich. The menu was all in German and I wasn't sure about what kind of Sandwich I wanted so I just asked the lady (I presume the owner) for her favourite sandwich. She pointed us towards the daily special, and was very direct in her recommendation for the meat and and add-ons. She was very friendly, polite and eager to help my friend and me who were obviously new to the city. The sandwiches were delicious (cured ham + pesto is great). I won't say that this is the most amazing sandwich store ever, but it's definitely worth the walk from HB and the price (11.50CHF for the daily special, but the menu board showed mostly 9 and 10 CHF). note***: Be prepared to bring cash with you. Also, a strange rule is that you can drink from your own water bottle, but you can not leave it out on the table. Maybe it's a cultural thing? IDK. I'm new here.

I simply cannot say enough about this authentic paninoteca in the heart of Zurich situated not far from the main train station. The extraordinary ciabatta as well as the padina bread are baked and delivered daily by the charming proprietor's father. Guests create toasted sandwiches based on an enticing selection of vegetables, cheeses and Italian cold-cuts at extremely reasonable prices. The homemade Bocca di Rosa chocolate confection is moist and lightly sugared and make for a perfect end to a flavorful lunch. The cheerful and enthusiastc staff serve only to enhance an enjoyable eating experience. But be aware that a slight wait may occur over lunchtime due to the popularity of Il Pentagramma and that a reduced selection is possible in the afternoon due to the "fresh daily" approach of the shop. Without a doubt, the best toasted sandwiches in the city!
