Unpresentable. After letting us choose they tell us that they won't serve us, that it was closed. It was 5 to 7 and according to Google they close at 7:30. Quite unpleasant

Visiting from British Columbia, Canada, we found this delightful casual spot to enjoy a beer and currywurst. The owner, Adi was so full of life and made the whole experience memorable. We will return for sure.Ted Martindale.

We really enjoyed our food here, and getting wine to go! The woman working the counter was super nice. There aren't tons of seats, but we sat on a wall nearby and ate a good little sandwich and french fries. The house wine was great, too, and not too expensive to wander around with. We recommended this place to several people who asked us where we got our wine!

Yes, I really have to say that, here I had one of the best currywurst, the sauce was very good and the fries and the chicken burger 🍔 were also very good. The price was also right, especially if you come from Switzerland 😁

Very good place to eat. The currywurst is delicious and at a good price. They only accept cash and, although they allow you to pay in euros, I recommend doing so in francs. They increase the price quite a bit if you pay in euros. For example, for something that would have cost us 26 francs, they charged us 33.5 euros.

“The best currywurst in the world” – that’s the claim. I don't know if that's true, but the sausage is certainly very good. Just like the sauce: it is fruity, spicy and has just the right taste. Everything is actually right here. I can recommend it!

So, today there are 3 times five stars. For anyone passing through Stein am Rhein, this is the best address to satisfy a small hunger. The food can be taken directly to the Rhine. (50m to the river) Legger, fast and friendly... Vegetarians also get their money's worth. Best regards Frederik

The world's best currywurst? Unfortunately, yesterday afternoon I received a charred, partly black sausage with a 1mm hard edge... I was only able to eat part of it and threw the rest away. But the sauce wasn't bad... that's why we get the extra star.

This place is a hidden gem! Delicious comfort food at amazing prices owned by a friendly family. The burgers and the curry wurst are a must have. Would definitely come back again!

The best currywurst in the world is written on the sign in front of the snack bar and we really wanted to try it. The order is always freshly prepared, which means there is a waiting time, but you don't get something that has been on the grill for hours - that's the first plus point. The friendly staff behind the counter is also positive. The currywurst is served hot and accompanied by fine bread. The sausage itself cannot compete with Berlin bratwurst, but that is not surprising, the sauce is homemade and has a personal touch, although we find it too sweet and lacking in acidity and spiciness. We think it's not the best currywurst in the world, there's still a lot missing, but it's the best in the entire region.

I had to taste a Currywurst before finishing my hike, it's done. It was good and very spicy, the curry sauce would be homemade...

Went there for the first time today. The good reviews are absolutely justified. Great currywurst, great fresh bread with it. The cheeseburger was also very tasty. Plus a freshly tapped beer. What more do you want. Absolute recommendation.

Adi has the best burgers and french fries in switzerland, the best we had in 5 days while in Europe. He is such an amazing chef and a great host. We had such a wonderful chat while he was serving and he is just a sweetheart ❤️.

The food was delicious, definitely recommend the cheeseburgers. While it is technically a take-out place, there are a few tables outside. As well as that, the town is a lovely place to walk around in the evening so there are plenty of reasons not to sit down. Meeting the owner/chef was one of the highlights of my trip, he is truly a lovely man with a fascinating story.

Delicious authentic Swiss frankfurters! I got the Riesen Cervelat and I was not disappointed! Not many seating options, but food is perfect for take out down to the river!

My son was thrilled. The burger with double cheese was very tasty, the service was super nice. But you should get rid of all the plastic. Therefore one point deducted.

Excellent snack! The Tiergarten snack bar offers top quality burgers, bratwursts, fries and much more at reasonable prices. The owner is extremely warm and hospitable. The atmosphere at this small snack bar is so familiar that many locals often frequent it. An absolute recommendation for anyone who visits Stein am Rhein.

On our bicycle tour in Switzerland, we spent a couple of days in Stein am Rhine. We happened on Imbiss, right in the town center, and decided to stop in for lunch. Food in Switzerland tends to be quite expensive, but not at Imbiss! Fast service, the best brat and pommes we've ever had. Pleasant owner, and great service. If you're ever in Stein am Rhine, you owe it to yourself to stop in!

Fast and tasty too - but portions could be larger.

Various Swiss sausage specialties and other classics on offer at normal prices (also payable in euros). The taste was very good, especially the fresh bread with the sausages. In my opinion, the Servelat sausage is particularly recommended.

First-class and inexpensive snack & take away with a well-positioned and hospitable operator!
