Isbärstübli in Wildhaus-Alt St. Johann

With new, professional tenants for a few months. (Sonja & Sonja) The three of us had dinner here in the evening. Beautiful set tables. Very wholesome food. Great uncomplicated service despite the restaurant being full. We would like to come again. Top !

Beautiful restaurant, now under professional management. Very good food, a bit expensive. Friendly staff. Unfortunately, parking spaces are subject to payment (greedy municipality)!

Cool furnishings and attentive service.

The food was wonderful and the staff was very nice, it wasn't even 5 minutes before the food was there. Would definitely eat here again and I think the price is very fair. Respect for staff and kitchen. 👍

We will be back definitely!!! Starting with the warm welcome, the lovingly set table and the unique ambience, we were able to enjoy a fresh, perfect meal with great attention to detail. Inconspicuous from the outside, but even more charming from the inside, a small but fine restaurant in the heart of Wildhaus. Our menus were excellent and prepared with a lot of love. The new hostesses know their stuff and it was definitely not the last visit to the Eisbärstübli :) Top recommendation!

We were a larger group after an excursion, 3 people had already made reservations and asked who else was going out to eat, so we joined the 3rd group. When we arrived at the restaurant the landlord was annoyed because it was now more than 3 p. He told us that it would just take longer, which was totally fine with everyone. The service lady took the order for the drinks and later also the food. She wrote down everything from these 13 people, 4 of them children, 8 got the food and the other 5 went to school, 3 of them children. The service lady didn't notice that 5 people didn't have a plate, but she uncovered it for everyone. We were very patient when more and more food ended up at the other tables and we were ignored. We paid the landlord when he was made aware that many had been forgotten. The service lady just looked strange and emphasized again that it was only reserved for 3. It's a shame that in the catering industry after Corona, every guest should be happy about whether they have a reservation or not.
