Hearty, beautifully furnished café in the middle of Weinfelden. My favorite place in Weinfelden to sip a fine coffee in the afternoon or on Saturday morning. Preferably outside in the sun :)

A variety of coffees, teas and fresh cakes/tarts to your heart's content. Whether in the seating area, on sofas, at tables, small tables or at the bar - inside or outside, everyone will find their place to feel comfortable. Martina and her team are in a class of their own!!!

Nice atmosphere and friendly conditions. 5 stars would be appropriate for that! But unfortunately a classic example where price performance is no longer right. An espresso for 4.50CHF cannot be justified and taints the bar culture.

Hearty coffee shop with various seating options: bar stools, normal tables, sofas and lounge. Very organized and friendly service. Delicious croissants and a good selection of coffees and milk variations. The toilet is also beautifully made, clean and nicely decorated.

Small but nice with indoor and outdoor areas in the Weinfelder center. Coffee specialties with a selection of different roasts for every taste - first of all from regional roasters. Tea and refreshing cold drinks and if you need to cool down, you will find various fine ice creams. The selection of cakes is manageable, but always delicious.

In my opinion, Famos has a wonderful atmosphere and the best coffee in the city. The café has only just opened (in August 2019) and has quickly become known as an insider tip in Weinfelden. The owner, Martina Schenk, is a trained barista and loves treating people to good coffee and “putting a smile on their faces.” This is reflected in her warm manner as well as in various details of the decoration. Café Famos is recommended to anyone who likes to drink very good coffee. This is available here in different variations: Ristretto, Espresso, Coffee Crème, Cappuccino, Latte Macchiato, etc. as well as in three selectable strengths: weak, medium and strong.
