Kaffeehaus Max in Bern

The place would be cozy, the bowl and the croissants are fine, but: The whole thing self-service for 8.20!!! More expensive than Nido with the best view in town, served in gold-rimmed dishes! TSCHIBO PRICES absolutely beyond!!! NEVER AGAIN!

A few weeks ago I was having a leisurely lunch on the upper floor of the Tchibos, where I unfortunately had to observe frightening and disturbing scenes. Customer, an elderly person with a walker, put down his walker and went to the shelf. The saleswoman who worked at the table was visibly annoyed by this and didn't bother to express this loudly to the customer. In a truly frightening way, she started to complain about him and complained about his walker. The customer always remained polite, if a little intimidated. I've never seen behavior like that before and I have to say a person like that doesn't belong in sales and should be fired. You can't take your frustration out on your customers. The whole situation meant that there was a depressed mood on the whole floor and I couldn't enjoy my lunch at all.

Totally unmotivated staff and unfriendly. No advice and just stand lazily behind the cash register and press around on their smartphone🙈 There would be enough people looking for a job and working with passion. Where is the controlling of the company management?

Nice shop + bar, self service, with the possibility of using the upper floor as well. Interesting offers such as Tchibo chain, regarding clothes + other items. All tip top, 👌👌

Honestly I like Tchibo products, every time I visit UAE I go there to buy a high quality product with affordable prices. This time when I visited Switzerland, I went to their shop and bought a nice collection of their great products. I hope one day I will be able to visit Tchibo in Jordan

Encontré este lugar mientras estaba en Berna y me alegro de haberlo encontrado. Gran café pequeño con una sabrosa selección de pasteles y cafés. Decidió regresar al día siguiente después de ver la selección de tazones saludables que tienen y no me decepcionó. Recibido con un servicio fantástico en ambas ocasiones en un ambiente muy agradable. Definitivamente haré una parada nuevamente la próxima vez que visite Berna.

Ich war mit meinem Partner im Kaffeehaus Max zum Brunch. Ich hatte eine Acaí Bowl und einen Caffè Latte. Mein Freund hatte ebenfalls einen Kaffee und einen Roastbeef Stack. Das Essen war super lecker, frisch zubereitet und sah auch toll aus. Der Kaffee war ebenfalls sehr gut und die Milch wunderbar cremig geschäumt (man kann aus 2 verschiedenen Sorten Kaffee auswählen) - einer der besten Lattes, die ich bisher getrunken habe.Das Lokal selbst ist sehr hübsch und gemütlich. Ich komme definitiv wieder, wenn ich in Bern bin.
