Karel Korner in Luzern

We have been to Karel Korner several times and this time we were very dissatisfied. However, when we wanted to sit at a table, we were directed to another seat (against the wall, without a table), even though the place was clearly empty. The reason was that a group of four had arrived after us and the employee preferred to seat them at this table. A table was then found for us after we made it clear that we would like to play cards and therefore needed a table. The service required a lot of patience and was also rather unfriendly. When paying, I asked for a receipt, which unfortunately wasn't given to us, despite asking politely. Overall the experience was very unsatisfactory and we will not be returning.

Small, beautiful and stylish cocktail bar, with exceptionally good cocktails. I can only highly recommend this place to every cocktail lover.

Sensational drinks as well as super -friendly and extremely competent operation! Ambience OK, uncomfortable and subtle as the appearance in general, here the high -quality product is in the center and that likes!

Cool location, very cozy and still urban

Cozy, small bar with a nice menu, which is updated regularly. The selection is large and you can always find something. The drinks are always very original. There is free water on the table. You don't see it often these days either.

Taking advantage of my trip to Luzern, I had some cocktails with coworkers, and I have to say that one of the best negroni I have ever had, then we took advice and tried a gin infused with basil that was also something very different. I recommend it if you want to try quality cocktails

TOP bar in the heart of Lucerne. Karel Korner is small but nice with tables inside and outside. The bar menu stands out from others because of its creative composition. Bartender Tim impressed with his personal conversations and was even able to mix my now new favorite drink based on my first order!

For the first time in Lucerne and looking for a cool drink, I happened to come around the "corner" of Karel Korner, what luck! This bar with its great team simply impresses across the board. Unusual drinks with selected local ingredients, a cozy atmosphere and a team that exudes a good mood.

"The dish decoration is delicious" and she says that because she is so drunk after all the good drinks. the best bar in Lucerne. 5/5 would get wasted again.

A small but very charming place, the cocktails are excellent and the staff very professional and smiling, I will undoubtedly return there on my next visit to Luzern, it is a must visit!

All the cocktails we tried were really good! The bar is small but nice with a cool interior and a few tables outside. A nice team works there too!

Wir waren an einem Polterabend für einen Cocktalikurs im Karel, und waren begeistert. Es waren 3 informative, unterhaltsame und lustigen Stunden, und nicht einfach nur ein Standard-Program - und dazu noch wirklich super feine Drinks. Die Cocktail-Karte ist originell und ungewöhnlich und es lohnt sich, der Barfrau Judith zu vertrauen, denn ihre Kombinationen schmecken wirklich sehr gut. Merci vielmal für den tollen Abend. Beim nächsten Besuch in Luzern werde ich sicher wieder vorbeischauen.

Was told that under 21 are not allowed as they cannot serve under 21 hard liquors but I thought legal drinking age in Switzerland is over 18. I felt as if because me and my friends were Asian and so we were shooed away. Will not recommend this place for Asian as there is a possibility they racial profile.

Delicious signature cocktails with original ingredients such as dill, chili, and coriander. Following our preferences, the barman recomended the “Kimt & Zoriander” and the “Dillfinger”. Both were excellent and well balanced. As a small feedback, we would have appreciated to have a menu in English, and the candles lighten up.

The cocktails are creative, very tasty and mixed with self-pressed juices. There is always a bottle of tap water in a pretty bottle and a generous portion of nuts - so great. Atmosphere and ambience are a matter of taste, it is very loud and seems a bit effortlessly casual. Unfortunately, there is still a construction site in front of the door, so if you want to escape from the loud music but sip the cocktail, you really end up sitting directly under a scaffolding.😜

If you're in to cocktails you should go there. Don't go in bigger groups. If you order 5 drinks you wait 20 minutes for them. To speed up the order I only drink beer there. And there are better places for a beer in lucerne. Cocktails are good though, location is okay, staff is okay too.

Was here with friends. The boss appeared arrogant, arrogant and unfriendly. We were treated like mobs for no reason. In Lucerne there are 100 better alternatives for having a drink.

Absolut fantastischer Barkeeper und eine kreative und unterhaltsame Auswahl an verschiedenen Cocktails. Jedes Getränk, das wir bestellten, war köstlich und mit frischen Zutaten und mit Geschick hergestellt. Auch die Umgebung ist warm und einladend. Wirklich eine tolle kleine Bar in Luzern zu besuchen!

Very pleasant atmosphere, great creative drinks. Always worth a visit. Unfortunately, it quickly becomes unpleasant because it is always too loud. Tip to the bar people: the music doesn't have to drown out the people's voices, very soon you'll hardly be able to have a conversation without having to shout at each other. Still a great bar:

Small but nice cocktail bar. The focus here is on the process of mixing, so you can watch the mixers in fascination and then be served the cocktail. Unfortunately a bit expensive, but it was worth it. Very interesting combinations and free nibbles.

Einfach Unverschämtheit!!!…dass wir bestellt und auch unsere Bestellung erhalten haben, wozu eine Rechnung mit doppelter Höhe gestellt und die Bezahlung gefordert wurde. Wenn wir nur wüssten wozu und wofür wir den Rest des Betrages bezahlen mussten!!!Also die Mitarbeiter können jeden ziemlich easy auf dieser Weise ausrauben und dazu noch so unfreundlich umgehen...:(

Wir haben kürzlich einen perfekten Start in den Abend erlebt. Im Karel Korner gibts sensationell gute Drinks. Nix mit schlechten Sirüpli zusammengepanschte-süsse-überteuerte-Cocktailsauce!!! Nein! Im Karel gibts richtig leckere nicht zu süss, nicht zu sauer, mit guten Zutaten-Cocktails! Yeah!

Tight place but had a good bartender when visited

Wir besuchten diese kleine Bar heute Abend und waren sehr zufrieden mit den Cocktails, die wir hatten. Der Besitzer, Vladimir, war sehr hilfreich bei der Auswahl und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Die Cocktails waren lecker! Es lohnt sich, diese Einrichtung zu besuchen.

Kam hier im Urlaub und es war unglaublich! Der Barkeeper war phänomenal - er half beim Erklären der Menü / Übersetzungen und machte das beste Manhattan, das ich je hatte (und wir hatten eine Manhattan Bar zu unserer Hochzeit! dieses führt die Liste an!). Vibe ist super schick und gemütlich; definitiv ein Platz zum Verweilen vor dem Abendessen oder als unauffälliger Abend. Ich wünschte, ich könnte wöchentlich besuchen.

Was here today for the first and not the last time. I felt very comfortable, even though I had to wait for my colleague. Cool, albeit expensive, cocktails. That's the only reason why there are "only" 4 stars. Nice bar with a cool flair.

Kam mit lokalen Freunden, die Karel Korner nicht kannten. Um es kurz zu machen - sie haben diesen Ort genauso geliebt wie wir. Getränke schienen mit der Zeit noch kreativer zu werden und ich erkenne Zutaten von meinem Lieblingsplatz in Singapur, die man für maßgeschneiderte Cocktails braucht. Werde definitiv wiederkommen für einen Test: -). . .

Toll umgesetztes Konzept. Wir hatten ausserdem Glück beim Event mit der Gast-Barkeeperin dort zu sein. Da versteht man sein Handwerk!

Es ist ein cooler Ort mit großartigem Personal. Es befindet sich in der neuen Stadt, leicht mit einem großen speziellen memu für Cocktails. Diese sind sehr kreativ und schmackhaft. Toller Ort, um eine Nacht zu beginnen.

aber die Gin-Tonic Bar im Schaufenster ist etwas überflüssig. Vor allem wenn dort ein gelangweilter Typ Gin Tonics in grossen Weingläsern mit viel Grünzeug zusammenstellt. Wir haben die G&T bei der netten Bedienung bestellt die von Tisch zu Tisch geht und das war perfekt. Überhaupt ist die Bedienung (ausser dem Typ im Schaufenster) sicher ein Highlight.... nebst den Drinks.

Sehr gemütliche Bar. Super Drinks/Cocktails🍸 die aber auch ihren Preis haben. Am frühen Abend hat man vielfach ein Plätzchen, später ist dann Full House.

Die Drinks sind grossartig und man wird ohne sich gross anzustrengen dazu motiviert, etwas neues zu probieren, was sich hier auf jeden Fall lohnt! Ja, es kann teilweise etwas lange gehen, deshalb empfehle ich entweder nicht in den "Stosszeiten" zu gehen, oder - so wie wirs gemacht haben - erst nach 2-3 anderen Bars dahin zu gehen, so dass man nicht im Stress ist ein Getränk zu bekommen. Wenn einen Wartezeiten stören empfehle ich aber, sich nach einer Alternative umzusehen.Das gratis Hahnenwasser das man sofort bekommt ist beinahe einzigartig für die Schweiz! Kein Ort um sich schnell abzuschiessen ;)Freue mich auf das nächste Mal!
