Katjaboat in Locarno

Very nice atmosphere and super tasty olives and corn snacks were served (free). Gladly again for a drinks stop. :-)

We often went to old Katja. With Captain Robi. Often drove several laps in one evening. It was not uncommon for us to happily pay a few hundred euros because it was so special. The old Katja boat was special. We also brought a Jura coffee machine to the Katja boat. We wish just a little bit of that time back. A big thank you that the Katja boat still exists today. Sensational boat trip with fireworks.

Since Robi is no longer on board, no thanks! A Ticino original was lost. It would have been better to let him have his own concept.

living in a village on the italian mountainside, and that boat comes annoying us all with their whoom whoom whoom disco every saturday,,, incredible... they should go to locarno, where they have their station... they would force them, to be less loud

Top location but rather poor service, some of the snacks weren't really fresh anymore.

In my opinion, the cult was lost without Captain Roberto. Roberto is, and was, a personality. Certainly not everyone was comfortable. But he had his style.

That's all we wanted: cans and an efficient and friendly waitress.

Very courteous staff, speaks several languages. Fast service. Romantic and cozy atmosphere. This bar is unique.

Cool location for an evening drink or whenever! Nice, multilingual staff. The boat can also be rented as a whole for events. Google Katjaboat 😉
