Best kebab in Zurich, hand's down! Love it. We eat here a couple of times a month, and we really enjoy the food, always tasty and fresh.

The best kebab in the city THAT WAS ONCE, I was a customer for years and suddenly there are new employees in the store and they are very unfriendly and the quality has deteriorated by 80%, there is no taste anymore, the dough seemed old to me. It's a shame, I really enjoyed going there but it's no longer recommended. I think the shop was sold and now new ones have popped up and want to emulate the success of the last owner, but that's no longer possible and you can taste it. That's it, I'm looking for a new best kebab shop, there's enough and you shouldn't go there anymore.

One of the best kebabs in Zurich. Flatbread is made fresh in front of you and the pocket bread was baked in the morning. The meat is also better quality than anywhere else.

Since the ?change of ownership? or just a team change At the beginning of April the kebabs are getting smaller and smaller. Yes, they have homemade bread. Yes, they still have a shift spit. However, the quality of the product and service suffer enormously. Unfortunately, I won't eat there as regularly anymore. Update 10/31/23: from 2 to 3 stars The new team has familiarized itself and is working better. Prices have been adjusted upwards. It's still the wrong place if you're looking for the best kebab for your money. But conditions are better again. The speed could still be worked on a bit.

Absolute favorite and the best kebab place in Zurich. I have tried them all and this wins every time. 🥙 Staff is hardworking, fast and very nice. They make the fladenbrot/wrap fresh when you order or you can have a 'Brottasche' which is a pita bread cut open and stuffed with all the ingredients which is also phenomenal. Not a large place but you can always find a seat. Always busy because it is popular, they work very quickly and you won’t have to wait long. Everything is fresh and taste great. Highly recommend the Poulet/chicken kebab. Marinated chicken breast grilled on the flat top with fresh veggies mixed in. Keep up the good work!! 👏👏

Definitely the best kebab in Zurich and the surrounding area! The flatbread is homemade and the veal skewer is grilled with love. If the skewer is not yet ready to cut the entire layer, the crispy areas are processed early with scissors so that they do not burn. The staff is super friendly and responds to all requests if possible. How the chef rolls the kebi without even a drop of sauce coming out while eating is still a mystery to this day. In winter the places to eat on site are very scarce, but what can you do about it :D Please finally start delivering, since I moved away from Höngg, I always shed a tear when I have to get my Kebi from somewhere else - but every now and then I'm happy to make the journey, it's worth it <3

Attracted by the constant customers at this take-away, I dared to visit and, as expected, I wasn't disappointed the first time. The kebab in the freshly made à la minute flatbread with freshly sliced ​​meat from the skewer and crisp salad was really delicious and very filling! A little too much for me. However, I also ordered extra meat. The restaurant itself does not invite you to linger, unless the weather is nice on the terrace (not in the sense of take-away either). Addendum from: August 28, 2023 approx. 10 p.m.: Apparently people don't think much of consistency here: the two kebabs in the homemade pocket bread had a maximum of 50g each. There was meat in it, but otherwise it was good. The "freshly" tapped beer to bridge the waiting time tasted stale/stale; I had to leave it (change the CO2 bottle!). The falafel box with nothing but fries and 6 falafels was bathed in old oil. A catastrophe for 45 francs including a tip to take away. When I personally complained today it was said that I could have had more meat for 2 francs per kebab. Of course, an extra 7 francs tip for this rascal wasn't enough?

Absolutely delicious doner kebab with pocket bread. I had the pleasure that the bread even came fresh from the oven. The meat was also nicely fried and it was an absolutely delicious kebab, but... The kebab is for children up to 12 years old. It is very small. For a grown man like me, this is just a joke. I'm used to Ali Baba Dietikon whose kebabs feel like twice as much. Bigger bread and much more meat. I wasn't full at all here at the kebab house Höngg. If they changed the concept and weren't so stingy, it would definitely be better than Ali Baba Dietikon. It is stacked veal which is halal according to a Birlik employee, which was also officially confirmed to me via email. It's a real shame it deserves a 5 star but I'm still giving it 3 stars even though I would have preferred to give it 2 because the size is just too small for a grown man.

Doner 🌟 I ate the most delicious Dürüm here, made with Yaprak kebab (meat slices, not minced meat!), and I have to say, I'm absolutely thrilled. 😀🥙 Juicy meat, fresh ingredients, even flat cakes/bread are freshly baked and perfectly seasoned. A colleague who was very hungry was also full, he ordered extra meat 🤩 .

If you're expecting a monster kebab packed with 400g of the cheapest standard minced meat porridge, you're in the wrong place. The one-star reviewers citing “too little meat” want quantity instead of quality. The skewer here is real meat. Flatbread and pocket bread are homemade and fresh. Ingredients are fresh. Sauces are homemade. The Kebap Haus Höngg easily offers one of the best kebabs in Zurich - much better quality than the hyped "edeldöner" like Ayverdis (which sell the cheapest hack) - and much cheaper (CHF11). Order “extra meat” if you have to (CHF 13.50). This store is real. Go there. Eat. Nothing to linger about. Renovation needed. But the work is done cleanly. I'm a fan of this store!

I stopped eating kebab elsewhere long ago because this is the only seller with real meat. The Kebab Haus Höngg has been offering the best quality for years, despite rising food prices! And there is also great Turkish tea here. I don't know why so many kebab shops don't offer one

Had a chicken kebab plate with some hairs in the meat, showed it to the employee and he laughed at it. Had to pay for the entire plate. He says next time he makes the chicken kebab it will be better.

Was in the store today for the first (and probably last) time because my kids really wanted a pizza for dinner and I didn't want to drive too far... Ordered pizza prosciutto to take away, which was ready after about 10 minutes. When I paid, I gave a tip (without seeing the pizza because it was already packed to take away). When I got home, I called the children to the table and when I opened it I was disappointed - the "prosciutto" pieces of ham were so small that you probably spread a normal slice across the entire pizza... It's well known that children are happy with little, including mine. The problem is that this isn't the first time I've taken a pizza home and I know what it can and should look like otherwise (even for a lot less money than there) So dear people, if you're after pizza, definitely not there ( I don't have anything else and I won't try it) Luckily there are many other shops in Zurich that offer much better things (including service) Absolutely not recommended!!!

Dürüm very meager for the price, half empty

Used to be the best kebab. Things took a drastic turn until a competing store opened nearby. Staff (especially the owner) were very unfriendly and not customer-oriented. Prices rise, performance falls. Doner kebab very salty. We ordered a kebab without spicy but received a lot of spicy food and were not willing to tolerate or compromise when asked. Poor performance. (the best part was the drink.)

In my opinion one of the best kebabs in Zurich. The meat is always delicious. Unlike most kebab shops, the yogurt sauce also tastes like yogurt! The only complaint I can make is that the portion of meat in the kebab can be a little sparse from time to time.

Actually really tasty kebab but always at the upper limit when it comes to finances. Unfortunately, since they increased the price a few days ago (döner 11.00 without drink) that was it for me.
