The kebab is great! One of the better ones in the Zurich area. Deduction for the service because the waiting time was rather long and for the ambience because it is just a typical kebab shop

51.- for 2 kebabs, 1 falafel and 1 fanta Today we went to eat there for the first time and probably for the last time. We still thought that it was a bit expensive, but since there were no prices listed and we had only been living in Zurich for a short time, it was assumed that these prices were correct. When we got home and read reviews, we realized that Zurich hadn't become so expensive after all and that 1 kebab would have cost 11 francs. We were deducted and only because our daughter doesn't like sauce in kebabs and we specifically ordered 2 kebabs without sauces. The gentleman brought the kebabs with sauces and said that that was normal and was visibly annoyed that they had to make a new one , even though we said that specifically.

I would say it is the best kebab ever! Really crusty bread, good meat and delicious sauce! Exactly how a classic kebab should be!

Very simple but super tasty kebab! I'm a regular here and always enjoy coming by. If you don't know Memo's you should definitely stop by, highly recommended! The local people are all very nice and you feel well treated. Attention: there are enormous waiting times at weddings (30-40 minutes)

Good, cheap and also friendly. The snack bar is quite busy at lunchtime, but it was well organized. An employee runs around and takes orders from all guests so that they can sit down comfortably and don't have to stand for long. The roll is nicely toasted and a great deal for 11 francs in Zurich. I can only recommend it.

Best kebab I've eaten in Switzerland for a long time. For me it's comparable to my beloved kebab from Berlin. Flatbread fresh and crispy and the meat straight from the spit. Just as he should always be. A lot of activity at lunchtime but no wonder with the good kebab.

Actually always top xi. But last night my girlfriend and I spent the whole night in the toilet with book pain. And it's the only day we've eaten it so I've had a fix of the kebab. Certainly one of the better kebabs in the city in terms of taste (in my opinion also better than Ayverdis if you compare the kebabs in pocket bread). The bread definitely gives this kebab that homemade character as the roasted flavors come out really well and with the sauce from Memo it's just a great mix. Unfortunately I would only give the meat a 5.5/10. It's good but unfortunately it's nothing more than just a minced kebab without any special character. This kebab would easily be a 9/10 if real meat was used here.

Please only answer the phone if you understand German. There's no other way to explain to me why the orders aren't spicy or have hardly any onions. It also makes no sense if you give the kebab I ordered to your private friends, they should order it themselves. My lunch break is too short for that. November update adds 1 star. The last order was spicy (probably thanks to this review), but very dry at the beginning, the sauce is of no use if it starts to drip with the last bite.

I got an invoice from Zibsec GmbH 70.- ) The Memo Bar on Badenerstrasse in Altstetten is a clean, small food bar near the Lindenplatz bus/tram stop. The employees are very friendly even when the store is busy. Kebab/falafel is only offered with pocket bread and not with flatbread. The homemade was like the sauces. Unfortunately my bread was too soft/rubbery, the kebab was good for an industrial meat skewer, the sauces were delicious. I thought it was great that the meat was cut directly into the kebab and came without a warming box! If you're looking for a delicious average kebab with an industrial skewer, I can recommend the Memo Bar.

If you want a good doner/kebab in Zurich, you have to come to Memo’s! We came here to finally eat a good kebab again after 4 months of traveling in Asia. It was delicious! I haven't eaten so much meat in a long time. The sauces keep everything nice and juicy and the bread is crispy and super tasty! The staff was very friendly and cleared the table as soon as we were finished. You won't be disappointed here.

For 11Fr there's not much meat, the staff can't even speak a little German, they don't even have the wrong kebab, they don't order any vegetables, but everything is ok....👎🏽

Meat and pocket bread was good. But I didn't have any salad or vegetables in it... I ordered spicy with everything. There was no sauce, just dry chilli and without salad it was completely dry...

The bread is well toasted like in Berlin. The dough itself was juicy and not dried out but fairly tasteless. The sauces were too watery, the cocktail was more of a salad dressing and the yogurt sauce was also too runny.

The bread was nice and crispy, but the quality of the meat could be better. It tastes floury so the guys stretched it quite a bit. All in all it's ok but there are far better kebabs.

Average Falafel. Neither bread nor falafel were "home-made". It's a nice spot and they're super friendly. But if you're vegan, and look for a crunchy, fresh falafel with colourful veggies, this is not your place. I heard, the Döner is famous though.

The (pocket bread) kebab is okay, but nothing earth-shattering. There are better ones in Zurich. The bread was grilled shortly beforehand and then fell apart while eating. The "meat" is tasty and well seasoned. CHF 11.- for a kebab is okay. CHF 4.- for a cola that is purchased for 50 appen. The pocket bread kebab should be cheaper because you get a lot less than at Dürüm. The staff is friendly, waiting times are just fine although they take a lot of time to prepare. All in all, quite OK for a snack in between.

Was the best kebab in Zurich so far. But it's slowing down a lot at the moment. The flesh is no longer the same. What a shame, what a shame.

Tastes vary but anyone who says that this kebab is the best in ZH has never eaten a good kebab. Unfortunately the meat used here is not very high quality. The meat is very fatty and consists more of minced meat and not layers of meat that are nicely fried. In my opinion, the warming containers in which the meat is stored are also an absolute no-go. The sauces are all ready from the bottle and the selection of salads is also very poor. I give 1 point for the crusty bread, which unfortunately is not homemade either. Unfortunately I don't see any love for the product here..

The meat isn't really meat, but something that can be called that (stretched with other ingredients) and the size is a bit small for the price, I have to say, and the sauces weren't something that stood out either. The meat looked like the picture below, in short something with cheap lamb meat or something else and Soja doesn't know exactly.

The meat is dry and I doubt whether it is actually just meat. It tastes very doughy and you get the feeling that it may have been stretched with flour or breadcrumbs. The bread is not homemade and is just normal, dry white bread that is toasted. The waiting time is also rather long.
