Kinker in Münchenstein

Average visitors to this club are 16 year old TikTok ravers on Dr*gen. Arrogant and unprofessional “bouncers”. There is no clear system when it comes to handing over a jacket and everyone pushes their way forward. If you try to queue correctly, the evening feels over until you hand over your jacket. Same problem with the toilet.

Security and bar staff are some of the best you can currently find in the well-known techno clubs in CH and southern Germany. Drink prices for alcohol are quite high, but I think non-alcoholic drinks and beer for 5 CHF are fair. Huge plus point: free tap water. Audience is mixed from 18-30, but older people are also welcome. Function One facility on the Main and very good bookings make the techno heart beat faster. Light show is pleasant, not too exaggerated. It seems like smoking is allowed everywhere, at least no one was interested. Gladly again.

Excellent techno place with music and everything, the only flaw is the wardrobe, you have to wait more than half an hour, those who are there don't want to and do everything calmly as if they don't care, instead of working they make calls and are on the phone and people are dissatisfied she is angry.

The real kinker experience: 10-15mins front line, 20-40mins jackets line (+40mins in the end), 30mins toilet line (girls). Rude staff, bad sound quality due to overdriven bass, basically no sense of community left bc it has gotten very mainstream over the years. Definitely not worth it anymore.

The club is pretty cool and highly recommended. Minus point for the bar. They simply make the prices whatever they want, more expensive than it is advertised.

The people, the feeling is simply priceless. Employees are super nice and hearty. Was warmly welcomed by the backstage crew and was great, would happily do it again.

The techno was excellent, but what surprised me was the floor. There was rubbish everywhere and the foil on the checkerboard pattern came off because everything was so stuck together.

One of the best techno clubs in Switzerland. As it should be: Top facility, great DJs, in an industrial area, great lighting design, friendly visitors and staff Almost feels like Berlin ;)

The best techno-underground club in Basel, but sometimes there are far too many people, so that the sweat on the floor is dripping from the ceiling. A bit of saunu club vibes

Music 10/10, pizza that was served would offend any Italian, people again 10/10 and bartenders like even the bouncers were very nice

Absolutely awesome night with parfait at the DJ desk. Super harmonious, plenty of space, friendly staff and great music. Mängisch revenges repetitivi tunes but if I was as tired as most people, then it doesn't play a role anymore. Security was actually given later, which surprised me positively. Most of the clubs around the world feel like they're mostly fun id checkout

Nice club, pleasant atmosphere and the best guests. Usual drink prices. Was there for the first time at Nur Jaber and was let in as a 48 year old techno lover. It's not a given. Gladly again.

The ambience and music are good, unfortunately the entrance fees are sometimes quite expensive considering that you have to pay for the drinks separately and you are not even allowed to take a small pet bottle of water into the club. A Jägi Shot 5.- and Club Mate mot Vodka 18.-. Overpriced sorry...

Seems to be mostly visited by very young people (18-22). The sound is most times hardtechno or something fast. It doesn't seem to vary much. Sound quality is OK, but nothing special. The building is not well-suited for a Club, though. It can be very crowded, the ceiling is low and There's hardly any ventilation. Young men use this chance to show off their bodies, so expect everybody to be dressed in black and wearing chains instead of shirts. Atmosphäre seems a bit less relaxed than the Elysia or the Nordstern, but that may be due to the crowdedness and the low ceiling.

Loud, wild and long. The security team is the best in the area. However, opportunities to get water definitely need to be made easier.

Only to be recommended! Top club!

Unfortunately it's not as cool as it used to be

Actually a good club for techno, nice staff and good music. But the waiting times at the cloakroom are abnormal. Next time I'll think about whether I really want to go to the kink. Sorry, but only one person working in the cloakroom on New Year's Eve? As an owner you can also think about it a bit. After waiting 1 hour the vibe is no longer there.

If you consider that the club hasn't been in the race for very long, it is the number 1 for everyone who loves hard techno. Always a top vibe, friendly and helpful staff and the most pleasant security in Basel.

The atmosphere and acts are good, but tinnitus is inevitable.. The loud system is good, but only if the system can reproduce quality.. The speakers are booming non-stop.. Man, with the drink prices and the fact that you still charge full admission at 4 a.m., you could also got a good system! It's a real shame, because the club is really fun and it's always guaranteed to be hard techno.

DJ's are very good, but there are waiting times at the cloakroom of 1-2 hours, there doesn't seem to be any ventilation... 16-18 year olds are well represented here because nobody seems to care how old you really are. Oh, you should also get the coke problem in the toilets under control... it's just annoying to have to queue when you actually have to go to the toilet.

Music is great if you like hard techno! Minus points for the too many guests (if it's too full, it's just no fun anymore) and the endless queues at the cloakroom and toilets. As a die-hard techno fan you can definitely risk a visit :) (Note: Very young audience, there will be a lot of horror inside)

You're not allowed out again after you've entered, so what's the band for? Ground muddy, no idea how to do it bro. Even after the third DJ, it sounded like the same song had been playing for 5 hours, and it made me unusually aggressive because it was really bad. 2 stars for nice bouncers who were correct

1 women's toilet, 2 hours in line for the cloakroom and just way too many people let in

If you want to wait 2 hours in line for the cloakroom after entering the "club", this is the right place.

It's amazing how many good reviews this club has, if you can call it a club. Because the one time I was there (late autumn 2021), I couldn't take it seriously because you had to walk up the stairs to the cloakroom and wait in line for a long time, and the men's toilet (only a urinal was available) only had hot water, which you could even use I could cook spaghetti and there was only one toilet cubicle, if I'm not mistaken (women's toilet) and it was damn hot on the dance floor as there was no ventilation. For me it's mostly an abandoned building intended for storage or offices rather than clubbing, but I have to say that Kinker always brings in good DJ's.

Great store. The crew is so great. I was treated great at the door and the bar.

Great sets today on September 18th, 21 from the DJs with an amazing PA. It was really fun. The guys at the entrance were consistent and very friendly. 👍 I just think it's a shame that there's no water in bottles but only in cups. THANK YOU SO MUCH for the evening and see you next time.😉

The ambience and the sound system are OK. The staff is respectful. Club is usually visited by younger people (18-22). The biggest downside is that there is no real ventilation and the only place to get fresh air is a tiny balcony with 5 smokers per square meter. Wardrobe is paid (2 Fr. as per 19.9.'21).
