This quite a special place! There is no Menue, you discuss your meal with the chef. Food is delicious, wine selection is interestinh, we tried a Serbian Sauvignon, which was very good. Service is not the strong point of the restaurant though, as the waitress prefers to have a lengthy chat with other customers, over serving drinks and coffee. Ambience is pretty cool. Last but not least - the price-quality relation IST very good! We definitely come again!

Don't know how the food got so good reviews. It just really has nothing to do with authentic Thai cuisine. The staff was nice but hardly spoke any German. Unfortunately not recommended!

I am so happy my husband and I came here on our last night in Switzerland. The ambiance was great, the food was fabulous, and the owner was so kind to speak to us. She made the experience feel so personable and it was very nice to get to know her + her background. The food was very authentic, flavorful, and full of spice! The wine was superb and I loved the blend between both culture of Thai and Italian. It was the BEST last meal in Switzerland. The owner also gifted us a wine for our honeymoon. She was the sweetest and kindest lady. We will for sure come back next time to enjoy this wonderful experience again!!! 😊

Couldn’t have been better. Went to dinner on a Tuesday with just myself and my wife. The fixed price concept was so great. There was so much food, we had trouble finishing the three appetizers, main course, and desert. Food and wine were delicious, and I have literally never received such great customer service. The owner and staff were beyond nice. My wife and I live in the states. If we had this restaurant in our home town, I would go at least two to three times a month.

The chef did a lot to make us feel at home in his restaurant, the food at Kinkhao is very tasty.

One of the best food experiences in zurich. Traditional thai food, everything is self-made (yes also the sausage!), very nice red wine from a small italian winery in Piedimont (included a discretion in the menu). The best combo between tradition and innovation. I really enjoyed it!

The Kinkhao is a Thai restaurant with an exceptional recipe and only offers a multi-course menu. A wine accompaniment can be ordered. It doesn't matter how many glasses/bottles are drunk, the price remains the same. We were fascinated by the different tastes and the creative menus. The owners are extremely friendly and service-oriented.

Four of us were at Kinkhao on Wednesday evening. We were absolutely thrilled. The food is top. Kinhao is Thai cuisine at its best! Not the usual boring Swiss version. My recommendation: definitely visit!

Wow!!! It was our first time at Christoph and his restaurant, but certainly not the last time :) It was just great from A to Z! It was my girlfriend's birthday, so he also remembered to play the Happy B-Day song and served a small homemade muffin. The 6-course menu was simply wonderful and a taste explosion! The prices are also amazing for what you get! There is still a passionate chef at work here with lots of friends and passion. Wow! I have rarely been as enthusiastic about a restaurant as Kinkhao. :) The concept of talking to other guests is also great.

It’s been a tough choice if to share or not - @restaurantkinkhao is a place like no other in Zurich: be prepared for a real experience full of fresh, homemade and tasty thai food - accompanied by the warmth and hospitality of the staff and chef (which in Zurich is extremely hard to find at this level). To finish it off, their menu is at a bargain price of 55.- incl wine/ beer, drinks and coffee (45.- non-alcoholic). Personal favorite: homemade thai sausage, the leaves of the appetizer, the omelette and the curries (also available in vegetarian version). 10/10, can recommend to everybody😍🇹🇭🌶 (last visited in August 2021)

Absolutely recommended: super friendly reception and service. Very pleasant atmosphere and cool styling (forks and spoons hanging above the tables). The concept is great and the food is beyond excellent. Price/performance excellent. We'd love to come back.

We had a great night at Kinkhao on a Thursday evening. The owner and cook is really nice (came to the table several times to make sure we are happy with everything) and the food is authentic, very tasty and a bit different than the usual Thai. For example we ate a Thai sausage which they had fabricated in-house, delicious! There is no menu to select from, they simply tell you what they have this specific day (everything freshly purchased) and then you chose single dishes or the entire menu for a fixed price, which is ideal to share. We will be back!
