Konditorei Café Ernst Hotz AG in Pfäffikon

I just experienced racial discrimination here. On Feb 14 at 16h, there was a lady who wore glasses, and she almost yelled at me. At first, she talked in English and said that I can’t buy just one piece of bread to eat inside. So I said I’ll buy more than two, then she said that she will not talk in English anymore and the counter is closed. I was confused, but she even did the posture to make her arms look like “x” and asked me to leave. I often went there, but I can’t anymore. It’s 2024. Shame on her.

Kindness...out of place. The manager of the cafe doesn't seem to me to be a good role model for the employees.

Personalized cake ordered for +150 CHF. So far I've only had good experiences, but it seems like savings are being made here too. The colors were so distorted compared to the photos provided that people made fun of the cake. Very embarrassing especially because I gave these away at work. Never again.

The best and well-filled canapes, we love them! Terrace is also good. Great croissants! Latte macchiato for 6.60, yes the prices, soon CHF 7 for a coffee makes you think, but it's like that everywhere. You can only park for free for 15 or 30 minutes. So not so comfortable...

Is well located on the way to the lake or back, great for a stop in front of the café hotel or for a quick break at Aldi... Fine things that delight the taste buds and stay on your hips for longer... What the heck, life is far too short to miss out on something nice... Is that it here now... Internet access, friendly service... We'll be back...

3 dried out Berliners for 9.90, inedible and the price was an absolute disgrace

Very nice employee Julia. Prices were exorbitant for a latte macchiato 7.70, I didn't know that Pfäffikon ZH had a Starbucks. Bread was hard. The best thing about the visit was the staff.

Cappuccino..... CHF 5.7O? Seriously? It wasn't bad, but the price couldn't be justified; you still have to go to the counter to pay. The service was friendly and competent.

Too expensive for me personally. The latte macchiato is served in a cup that is about 200ml or smaller, definitely not larger, and charging CHF 4.90 for it is almost criminal. The young lady (black ponytail) was friendly, which cannot be said about the other, a German.

A bit too expensive (coffee 4.90) and if you want to eat something sweet you have to pay a surcharge if you eat the "food" on site. I think it's a rip-off (even if it's a small amount). I will therefore avoid this loka.

Coffee was too expensive. We had ordered 4 croissants at the table. As soon as we had eaten two of them, the other two were taken away from us. The reason was that there were no more for other guests. That's not possible

Friendly and good products. Quality and prices are right. Also ideal to linger for a coffee and something sweet. Insider tip: Raetia bread!

I often just come here for the extremely good croissants.
