Good thing you can now pay at the table

I picked up a to good to go package and was extremely disappointed. The purpose of To good to go ust is to save food from the trash can. I came into the store 4 minutes before closing time and there was sooooo much left over that would be shot away at Abig. The unfriendly saleswoman had already prepared the package, which exactly contained the minimum value (21 Fr) of the package. And she apparently preferred to throw all the canapes, sandwiches and rolls into the trash can. The branch manager, on the other hand, does a great job when it comes to good to go, a really exemplary and nice person!

Completely overpriced coffee is a shame

Marktgasse branch, The managing director should take the employees as a role model. They are always friendly, call the regular customers by name and support each other at work. Service and coffee are a long time coming...there are 3 people behind the buffet, the serving girl takes orders, leaves the coffee out at the back of the buffet herself, clears tables and behind the buffet there is chatter instead of helping. This is not what teamwork looks like...

Good food and prompt service. It's just a shame that there is no bread to eat and this is in a bakery. 😩😩

The staff seems to prefer to hide in order to talk etc. Mercifully, our order was accepted reluctantly. After 15 minutes of waiting, the lukewarm coffee liquor was put in front of us. I was there yesterday. Incompetent staff and very unfriendly.

Was in Hotz at Migros for the first time today. The one next to the post office is the same price, but the staff makes up for it with their friendly demeanor. But this hotness makes a huge difference. I was standing at the take-away and at first the employees were talking to each other and didn't even say hello to me or said something like: "Just a moment please!" Well, when they finished talking, I was served with a petrified expression. Will never go there again. Food quality is the same as Migros, why I don't see why I should shop there again, since the self-check out at Migros can at least say goodbye to me, not like the staff in Hotz

Be careful about buying expired confectionery at the Hotz Bakery! I bought 8 (eight!) identical-looking boxes of pralines here on December 22nd, 2022, in good conscience that they would all be used up by January 10th, 2023, as it said on some of the boxes I looked at. Cost: 28 Fr. per box. Unfortunately, it was only at home when I was unpacking that I noticed that 2 boxes with "sell by 12/25/22, use by 12/27/22" were damaged. Because I only wanted to give these pralines away on December 27th, I couldn't use the "12/27" at all I then went back this morning and asked them to replace them. I didn't get that because "you can't change the food that has already been sold" - even though these boxes are sealed tightly with plastic and wrapped in gift wrap are, of course, everything is still intact! Furthermore, I was "kindly" recommended to look at everything carefully when buying. Basically, if we manage to make the customers believe something that they don't notice, then it's only our own fault! This advice was given Maybe tolerate it at a discounter; you expect a little more quality and customer friendliness from a closed bakery. By the way, I know stories where a number of discounters promptly replaced the goods or refunded money when a complaint was made. In the Hotz bakery, well, none of them... they even didn't respond to the request for a small price reduction. As a long-time customer of the Hotz bakery in my town of Dübendorf, I am very disappointed. By the way, over the years the service has gotten worse and worse and a high-quality local store will soon become just a chain, with all the associated loss of quality. A pity!

Rather poor for lunch, ready-made soups and a minimal selection of non-fresh salads. Maybe you can't expect more from a bakery... I can't say anything else about the products, but they don't look bad. Service rather stressed.

Highly recommended Swedish cake. However, this cake was ordered 2d in advance and upon collection the order could not be found. I ended up having to buy another cake. Very annoying

The only thing that is really good is the “Gipfeli with egg and bacon” the bread is no better than in Migros... No chance against a real baker who produces his bread on site!

I had the honor of getting a taste of the pastry/confectionery trade for a day. Once you see how much heart and soul the team puts their energy into the great and fine Hotz products, it's twice as much fun. A big thank you to Mr. Stricker and his great team. Here people still work passionately and with professional pride. Keep it up !

I have been a customer at Hotz's main store in Dübendorf for a long time. Because the Marktgasse branch is closer to me, I have visited it a few times. Unfortunately, the friendliness from the main shop couldn't be carried over to the Marktgasse, I've been served rudely several times and instead of a smile I received a "stone"! Yesterday afternoon I had a craving for a chocolate summit. The chocolate peak was very dry and could have been from the day before yesterday!

Delicious sandwiches🥪, good coffee☕️, attentive service and quick service. I stop here every now and then because I don't have the time... But on Sundays I usually get my sandwiches 🥐🍞🥖here before I go to the gym... ... will that change from August when the new fitness facility opens in Volki? Hardly (just too good)!

We had a cupli today and were surprised about the happy hour. There were also delicious sacks. The service was very friendly and accommodated my gluten intolerance very well. Olives and nuts were delicious and of course the rose sparkling wine too. Come again!

At 5:50 p.m. I have an appointment at 6:30 p.m. and before that I want to wait while I drink a cup of cappuccino and eat chocolate, but the companion doesn't think it's possible to prepare and drink a cappuccino in just 40 minutes.

Dispute among the employees. You can hear it throughout the entire store, not to mention that certain staff are completely unfriendly and reprimand customers. Let's not put up with that one star. This refers to the Pfäffikon Zurich branch.
