A pleasure to find such a delicious pastry shop and to be able to have a good breakfast at their location on a Sunday, when almost everything is closed for Basel. And another pleasure is to find that the owner is Spanish and to be able to enjoy a chat with him with confidence and tranquility. I don't know who was talking to us more, if it was us or the owner. We found the language management and the closeness with clients to be amazing. Thank you very much and I hope everything goes well. I hope you can return to Spain soon and that the birth of your little one goes great.

I needed to wait for everyone (that came after me) to be served because I wanted some sweets that they needed to probably pack in a box… unfortunately very unprofessional and impolite. Makes you not want to go back even though the product itself is good.

I would like to give a big compliment to Manuel Mendez and the whole team. I spontaneously decided on catering for 16 people (lasagne, parmigiana, arancini, vitello tonnato, polpette al sugo and various pasticceria products). Everything was very good, plentiful and tasty. Since the reopening of the Etna Bar, Liestal, in front of. Pane, we and our “Klicke” have often stopped by and can get an idea. The host and his attentive team are aware of the customer, they are characterized by natural friendliness, generosity, very good price-performance ratio and, above all, quality. The background music fits and invites you to linger longer. It's refreshing for Liestal that it can once again boast such a "jewel box" where you feel welcome as soon as you enter. The food is very good. The operation leaves a lot to be desired. The arancini are already sold out at 12 p.m. When I asked, the answer came: We open at 7 a.m. When we ordered (outside) we had to go back in for the food (except lasagna). When we were there there were 4 customers standing in front of us. We had to wait again. Price of lasagne with 1 soft drink CHF 25.- quite a lot. In the future we will spend our lunch break at a different location (Drachencenter).

I found this gem in months and tried good food here what they got from sweet pastries, croissants, breads, specialty items and wine. From the Swiss standard of pastries and cakes I would absolutely give them 5 stars, the quality and great taste you can really taste the freshness of the ingredients. Very good price, friendly nice staff. I am a big fan of Italian cuisine. At first I'm hesitant to try it, but I'm glad I did. Highly recommended, I'm already looking forward to my next visit.
