We actually really like Von Rotz; The products are very tasty and of high quality - although a bit expensive. On Whit Monday we arrived at the branch at 12.50 p.m. and were made aware that the opening hours were until 1 p.m. So we only ordered two cappuccini. At exactly 1:00 p.m. the waitress came and, after asking whether we were still allowed to finish our drinks, asked us to return the drinks, one of which was clearly not empty, because they "wanted to close now" and "the machine is now being turned on." Basically, we understand opening times and are calm and grateful customers - but that seemed very cheeky and not at all service-oriented to us. We will think twice about shopping at von Rotz in the future. That's really a pity...

I find it really very inviting and it has great delicacies. But when I see the prices, such as a small soup of the day to go for 12.50, I wonder, every mountain restaurant will probably dream of prices like that.

Fine beer, not exactly cheap, but top quality

The Sunday braid is the only one that comes close to a really good homemade one. Just a little expensive, like the entire range.

Von Rotz is the best bakery and pastry shop there is in Switzerland. I've been eating and enjoying everything from Von Rotz for as long as I can remember. The best thing about all the bread products is that they last so long and are a true masterpiece. You are the best❤️

Good bakery but I think the confectionery products are better. Nut summit probably one of the best. Use Felchlin chocolate, probably one of the best in the world.

For me, the almond peak was always the best around. Unfortunately the quality has declined. The last 2 almond peaks were far too dry! The 2 almond croissants last time had almost no filling in them. It's a shame, I probably won't get any more :-(

Very good sandwich, super quality

I think that the pastry shop is top and the croissants 🤔 taste good, but are usually a bit smaller than the competition. The almond peak is my favorite Maag😉
