Service very very friendly. Got a good place with a stroller and dog. Enough space.

I've known this place since I was a child. Had lunch there on the occasion of my confirmation (1973). We also had dinner there for our daughter's baptism (1985). Today the two of us were there for lunch. It was exactly the same as before. Friendly, good and very nice. I can really recommend this restaurant without hesitation. From now on we will be eating there more and more as we move into the area.

Typical country pub with high quality food. Fresh preparation of local/seasonal products. Mixed salad was extremely tasty with delicious sauces (Italian and French). The beef fillet was perfectly fried and accompanied by 8!!! different vegetables. Price/performance top.

We ate the best fries at 10 p.m.

We were allowed to redeem a voucher that my wife got for her birthday, so we made a reservation on Saturday September 30th (I'm not entirely sure)! We decided on a specialty Chateaubriand with a salad as a starter! Guys we can only say; Hats off, that was a very tasty meal in a long time! Everything is perfect and so good, it will be a repeat case! Thank you very much.

I ate Chateau Briand, it was wonderful, it hit exactly the right spot for the meat that I love. Also the great selection of vegetables and the crispy, well seasoned, hot fries, just my style. Recommended to anyone who loves red Chateu Briand.

The food and the service are excellent. I find the selection of dishes pleasantly small and clear to be very good. The noise level is really annoying, you can hardly understand your own words, very unpleasant to eat comfortably. Maybe we'll come back when the garden is open, which is a shame...

The food was very good. We had a pre-order for a table. We have already pre-ordered the menu. But we still had to wait almost 1.5 hours for our food while everyone else was being served. Maybe something didn't work but there was no information. But we said, food was great

The restaurant was recommended to me. I went there for the test at lunchtime. Ordered the beef ragout menu and wanted vegetables as a side dish. The menu change was received with “gladly, no problem”. First there was a small mixed salad and then a really fine ragout with a variety of freshly cooked vegetables. It was amazing, as was the very fair price... I will definitely take the little detour via Kreuz again soon.

Today I was on the terrace with the kids and ordered ice cream. Unfortunately the service today was not as friendly as usual. I ordered a café ice cream and told the waitress that I didn't order an iced coffee. HER answer was: Café glace is French and Eiskaffe is German. It's a shame, I won't be back next time

Great price/performance ratio. Chateaubriand plate (Kreuz-Hit) for only CHF 39.50. In return you get a lot of meat, vegetables, fries and a sensational Bérnaise sauce. If you wish you can even get a supplement :-). The service is also friendly. Only the location is a bit old, what a romantic evening. a nice ambience is a bit of a hindrance. But the great food at a good price and the friendly service far compensate for this (that's why, despite the "lack" in the ambience, 5 *)

Wir haben im Kreuz im kleinen Rahmen unser Hochzeitsessen gehabt. Sie sind sehr unkompliziert, freundlich und total nett. Das Essen ist super und man geht definitiv nicht mit Hunger nach Hause. Die Dekoration auf dem Tisch ist herzig. Immer frische Blümchen.

Good afternoon everyone, we had a great meal as always

Me and my wife visited this place together with 12 friends from a rifle shooting team. The friendly owner organized the orders and served the starters. Everything was delicious and well cooked. I liked the Waldorf Soup a lot. We had to visit a bit but then all the 14 people got the main course at the same time. Amazing. The food was superb. I ordered a Chateau Briand with Sauce Bernaise. The veal was great and well cooked. they served fries and 8 (!) different vegetables, each prepared in a different style. Absolutely amazing. I will come back.

Fine fresh food friendly service

Wir waren heute mit Freuden zum Nachtessen hier. Vorspeise drei Mal gemischter Salat einmal Nüsslisalat. Hauptgänge: Vegetarischer Wildteller, einmal Rehgeschnetzeltes, einmal Rehschnitzel, einmal Cordon Bleu. Zum Dessert Eiskugeln. Es gibt nichts zu meckern. Alles war gut und eben bodenständig. Ich war noch nie in einem Lokal bei dem die Karte nur zwei Seiten hatte (Vorderseite und Rückseite). Der Vorteil ist aber, dass alles frisch ist und man schnell gewählt hat.

Das Chateaux Briand als Tellerservice ist sehr empfehlenswert, das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist Top. Auch das Personal ist überaus freundlich.

Das Essen schmeckte sehr gut und die Portionsgrösse war schön gross. Das Cordon bleu war super, schön gross und es schmeckte sehr gut. Die Preis/Leistung stimmt absolut. Die Karte ist auch nicht so gross. Das Ambiente passt und der Service ist sehr freundlich und schnell. Wir gehen sicher wieder vorbei.

Das Kreuz in Meienberg ist ein echter Geheimtip. Abseits der grossen Strassen bietet das Kreuz eine ausgezeichnete Küche zum vernünftigen Preis an. Die Wildgerichte im Herbst sind sensationell und auch richtig reichhaltig. Grosse Esser dürfen jederzeit einen Nachschlag der Beilagen verlangen! Das Personal ist mehr als freundlich und aufmerksam. Der Wirt kommt noch persönlich an den Tisch um zu fragen ob alles iO ist! (So wie es früher noch vielerorts war...)
