The place has a beautiful view at the top of the restaurant. The waiters are very friendly, we arrived early and they served us with pleasure. The draft beer was very good and the food was exquisite. It's not cheap but it's totally worth it.

Everything was well cooked, nicely served and reasonably priced. Rather large portions, lots of sauce and well attended. Extensive menu, reservation recommended.

We came late in the evening with children. While waiting, the children were given something to paint, the youngest was given a child seat and then there were French fries, which were very tasty. The Cordon Bleu was great. As we left we were given a bottle of wine and the children helped themselves to the bowl with two peanuts each. We recommend.

I had the opportunity to stop for dinner in this restaurant on my way back from Bern and I can only comment positively on the experience. The dishes are excellent, well prepared and the portions generous. The service is impeccable and the staff is very kind and the chef himself takes a personal interest in how the dinner in the dining room is progressing (a detail that I really appreciated). Personally I recommend the rösti, really excellent! I will definitely be back!

Our absolute favorite restaurant in the Bernese Oberland is Chico's Kreuz in Krattigen. Of course also because it is so close to home, but especially because of the deliciously prepared and seasoned food. You could really order anything from the menu, but be careful, the entire portions are almost too big to eat. My favorite is the cordon bleu, served with well-seasoned fries. The ambience on the terrace is unique, with a view of Lake Thun. Also very child-friendly with the outdoor playground. However, one star is deducted for the somewhat outdated interior of the restaurant. It would need new furniture and new light. Otherwise, from the service to the prices, it's almost unbeatable. We would be happy to come back any time...

As always, a delicious meal here, outside on the terrace. Very tasty food and beautifully prepared. For a fair price. Super nice service to respect. These people all work very hard to make you happy 👌.

Wonderful, colourful & healthy salads with the best schnitzels, steaks, chicken or french fries in the area. Plus, the view and sitting under the trees is always great. Beers are cold and the wines are always choice! Love coming here summer or winter !!!

Food and service was very good. There is an assortment for the little guests to keep them busy at the table. The children's playground is right next to it. What is special is the outdoor area, which is separated from the restaurant across the street. The ambience outside with a great view under the trees invites you to linger.

The food was okay, especially the fries were very tasty. What I find a bit unfortunate is that there was only one vegetarian dish on the menu. There could be more choice. The view is very nice from the terrace. Personally, I thought it took quite a long time until someone cleared the plates or asked if there was anything else I wanted. Although the restaurant wasn't that busy. Otherwise, it's definitely a good, home-style Swiss restaurant. With a beautiful view.

We ate very well. The small portion of Rõsti with bacon, cheese and fried egg was also too much as we had a small mixed salad beforehand. There was no dessert left, otherwise we had eaten enough. The price-performance ratio is right, the staff is very friendly. Everything really recommended.👍

Good restaurant. We wanted to eat a Chinese fondue because we had seen it on the site menu. Unfortunately we had not read that it was by reservation! It wasn't a big deal because we selected dishes and ate very well. Choice of an excellent and not excessive Apulian red wine. Do not speak French, little English but very friendly and attentive service. Very nice view of the lake and parking spaces

We ate here today with 4 people and to say it in advance it was fantastic. Briefly mention all the points individually: The service we had was very polite and accommodating and we didn't miss anything. People always asked for the right one, so a thumbs up in this category👍 The food was very good, I would even say fantastic. We all had a different dish and everyone found it very satisfying. At this point it should also be mentioned that the portions were very good and we were all definitely full. A clear thumbs up in this category too 👍 As far as the price-performance ratio is concerned, you definitely can't complain if you consider that we all had a starter, main course, dessert and wine. Thumbs up in this category too 👍 Now two more little things: What really impressed me was that the chef personally inquired about what was going on. This deserves respect on my part. If you are lucky enough to get a window seat, you can enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Thun and the mountain panorama. Waitress was very stressed, when we wanted to order she gave a very annoyed look. The plates were too hot and you burned your fingers. I specifically said no vegetables and I felt like I got extra vegetables. However, the food was quite good and the portions were quite large. The invoice was issued incorrectly when we asked her about it, she was annoyed and ignored us and didn't address our concerns. The friendliness towards the customer was not visible.

Caught the last table on New Year's Eve 22/23 at relatively short notice. I can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience: Quality, quantity and price are absolutely top! Ordered a takeaway dinner. Everything was very tasty and fresh, well prepared. You can see the whole valley from the terrace and the view is special. At the weekend it is quite crowded because you can eat well there and the atmosphere is very pleasant.

Hearty cuisine, well cooked at moderate prices. 4-course lunch menu for 20 CHF. Reservations recommended. We got the last two places unannounced on a normal Friday lunchtime.

I do not recommend to come on a Sunday, it was very crowded, the food took very long time, even the waitresses felt bad and came to apologize because the kitchen overloaded. But the food was good, very big portion. I had steak, they came with french fries, unfortunately no veggies, but you can order extra, but it would be too much for me. The pepper sauce was also extra (I thought it's included because they ask me if I want sauce or the herb butter) My family ordered small portion pastetli (like a pie with mushrooms) and it was super big, can't imagine how's the normal portion. Probably because the kitchen was overwhelmed, the bottom part pie wasn't excellent, it wasn't crispy, and kinda hard probably because it's soaked in the sauce? But I've been here often a few years ago when I visited Swiss, it was always good, so I really think it's due to too many customers. That's why I don't recommend to come on a Sunday lunch. Staff was great and friendly. Atmosphere was nice, just like other Swiss family restaurants. Price is also average.

Went there spontaneously for dinner yesterday. We were able to get a seat despite the already very full terrace. Home-style food, neatly prepared. My horse steak was awesome. The actual degree of doneness was slightly exceeded by the time the steak arrived, but it was still very juicy and had delicious roasted aromas. The piece of cordon bleu, which my companion was no longer able to eat, was also well prepared. With strong cheese and decent ham. Big compliments to the chef. The restaurant works with mostly regional/local products. And it explains very clearly where the meat comes from. I would eat here again
