I ordered food at the Landgasthof Kreuz. Pepper with knöpfli was one of the most tender and delicious meals I've had in several years and finally a really filling portion! Service was extremely friendly and accommodating. Ambiance, how pleasant is it? Highly recommended for anyone who needs a good start to the day but also as a conclusion to the Emmental. Authentic Swiss Kitchen in a very traditional building with a rich history in the heart of 🇨🇭 The food is very tasty, you will get all the specialities of the region. We were passing through and absolutely loved it. The food was really sensational, I have rarely eaten so well outside. Our food also came relatively quickly even though the restaurant was packed. It is with love and the passion of Mr. Nyfeler is simply very good! The food matches the coziness of the rooms in the dining rooms and the legendary "Teufi" - in other words - everything is real and combines cuisine with life in this venerable old shark and with the people who work there. Fantastically beautiful, old and well-maintained traditional Emmental hotel. Preserved in historical style and still very well maintained. The historic Gotthelf Hall is still exactly as it was in the film.
