Honestly, this is the worst Pizza I've eaten in my entire life. To avoid, it was the equivalent of a large rusk with tomato sauce spread on it, of course industrial! For the rest I'll pass... I can guarantee you that frozen pizza is better..

Today we really enjoyed the salsa evening! Great music, beautiful garden, beautiful ambience, wonderful and very well-kept service with top food... And at the end we could fully enjoy the beautiful rainbow in front of the restaurant! Simply a magical evening with many thanks to the entire Kronenhof team!!!

We have been here 3 times. Each time we noticed that something had changed in the usual quality. This time it was Tuesday evening and the restaurant was moderately full. The food tasted good. We were very hungry. But actually you could have prepared it at home with the same quality, if not better. Was a little disappointed with my spaghetti bolognese. It was almost like a tomato soup with noodles. It's probably not their specialty... However, the starter: bruscetta and my partner's meal: salami pizza were very good. We like the atmosphere as a couple because it seems calm and familiar. Unfortunately, we were also a bit disappointed with the service this time. One plate still had remnants of dishwashing soap on it… and according to my partner, the beer tasted a bit strange. But you could see that they tried hard to have everything under control and to be friendly. For the price we have usually experienced better things.

One of the best Cordon Bleus I have eaten to date. A little big but excellent. The pizzas are no less delicious. Magnificent garden where you can relax. Excessive parking spaces. The Service is most competent. Above all, the two very diligent sleepers come so kindly to you for all your culinary wishes.

Usually always good experiences. Today, however, I ordered Leberli with Röschti to take away, and there was more oil than Röschti. Leberli were tough. It's a shame, otherwise it's always been good. Hope better next time.

We were at the Kronenhof today and wanted to go out for an ice cream (4 people). It should be mentioned that we have eaten there several times and the food was always good. When it comes to service, we have already experienced several times that there is still a lot of potential for improvement. But today the bird was shot down in service. After we waited at the table for service for over 5 minutes, the lady came to our table and the first words were "There is no food today, only ice cream". At the same time, the plates, cutlery and tablecloths were cleared away from our table. However, we didn't get any additional ice cream tickets and were graciously allowed to share one ice cream ticket between the four of us. Then the lady disappeared again... we did the same to her. It's a shame, but this was probably our last time at the Kronenhof.

Delivery on time, employees very cold treatment of the customer! No cards or Twint payment possible because this restaurant does not have enough card readers (1), you are not asked for your preferred payment method. Pizzas are absolutely inedible, the dough is not fresh and extremely dry and the edges are burnt (black). Pizzas weren't hot. But delivery was surprisingly on time. Never again!!!

Service very bad, people sit for 30 minutes without even getting the card, a shame, staff very unfriendly, unbelievable, very bad!!!! A pity

Stopped here after a big tour. It has plenty of space in the parking lot. Food can also be ordered. The garden is large and beautiful. The service is familiar and friendly, but many guests get annoyed. Food was good and plenty. Price/performance good.

I ate and drank with a school class for just under CHF 500. There was very little material on the pizzas, and if it was very cheap, such as pressed ham. A coffee as a thank you would also have been nice. Was there last time.

The food was really good and we had a lovely evening However, I can only give three stars because the playground is really dangerous! There are wooden parts on the climbing house that come loose with long nails, it's a matter of time before a child gets injured.

We were completely ignored by the waitress. After 10 minutes we left again. The restaurant was half empty. They had 2 large tables to serve. It should be possible to tell the guests that they are about to be served, even with a little stress.

We only had difficulties with the staff for a cafe and 3x ice cream. very long waiting times and the restaurant was at maximum 30% capacity. But the ice cream was great

We were there for the first time. The food was great. The owners are very friendly. Good service also at the aperitif outside. Large garden in summer the children can play. Definitely highly recommended.

We were there twice, both times our food order was forgotten and we only received the drinks. A pity.

Extremely unfriendly, the service is really cheeky, customer friendliness is a foreign word for the ladies and gentlemen there! Not recommendable.

Staff doesn‘t understand Swiss German or German but act as they would. While we had a drink, there were some people asking about where the tennis courts are (right behind the house). They weren‘t able to give an answer. Come here if you like misunderstandings!

If you know anything about pizza, you shouldn't eat it here! This was the worst pizza ever. The pizza was lukewarm when I picked it up and the dough tasted like cardboard, the best thing about it was the salami. Once and never again.

Cordon bleus and schnitzel ordered to be picked up. Cordon bleus were sufficient and tasty, schnitzel fried for too long and a bit charred.

Menu 3: Spätzle announced, pasta delivered. The best thing was the sauce, but far too little of it. Plus completely overcooked canned vegetables. Communication between kitchen and service apparently insufficient.

We waited over an hour for food in a not full restaurant on a weekday evening. My pizza had 2 additional orders on it and they were ice cold. It was a lousy evening, the dessert came completely wrong and the landlord looked like he didn't want to work here. The first and last time for us. NB we sat here for 3 hours.

Eat good. The Cordon Bleu is recommended. Great with children, lots of space to play. Beautifully located in nature and easily accessible. Service friendly but catastrophic, disorganized, everyone does something different, no functioning team. This sometimes leads to long waiting times or certain orders are forgotten. Very unfortunate.

Food was good, nicely prepared. The operation was a bit difficult. Had to wait an extremely long time for service to arrive. The waitress is always looking at the floor and there is no eye contact with the guests. When it came to dessert, the wrong order came twice before the correct one finally arrived. A very nice restaurant with plenty of choice! For sunny days, this restaurant has a pretty terrace in a green, calm and relaxing setting in the Basel countryside. The menu is very extensive and varied and the dishes are good and plentiful! The restaurant provides several indoor rooms. A downside, however, is that apart from Sundays, from 2 p.m. onwards, small meals are no longer offered, but only a dessert menu. To correct !

The boss (I assume that was the boss) seemed annoyed throughout our visit, we had the feeling that customers generally bothered him. The other employees are friendly. The food isn't bad per se, but it seems to be a matter of luck.

Went to the Kronenhof again today and the service was ok and the food was a disaster - breaded pork schnitzel with rice. It came very quickly but the schnitzel was inedible and raw.. completely DISGUSTING

Good and inexpensive food with friendly service.

Highly recommended excursion restaurant. Large parking lot, you can easily walk in the fields around the restaurant. The service is super friendly and even though the restaurant was busy on Sunday lunchtime, we were served incredibly quickly than in any other restaurant in the region. The food was also very good, although the side vegetables could have been a little crunchier. Overall, I give it 4 stars because the price-performance ratio absolutely justifies it.

The garden restaurant is nice, it has a small playground and is fenced. This way the little ones can play and mom and dad don't have to worry about them escaping ;-)

This is my second time at Restaurant Kronenhof, both times were a culinary highlight. A perfect place to end the day with a good meal after a hike in the Ettingen or Flüh area.

Visit from Wednesday, August 11th, 2021 We've been before but wanted to give it a second chance. It has been confirmed that the service is overwhelmed, completely unprofessional and slow (lots of idling). The food was carelessly prepared. Prices too expensive for the performance. I ordered king prawns on a Greek salad. The shrimp were about the same size as the shrimp cocktail. What was huge was just the price. (almost CHF 30.00) It's a shame for the actually very nice outdoor atmosphere, but unfortunately not recommended.

Everything is always good at the Kronenhof, what more could you want.

The pizza we ordered wasn't really tasty. Too little on it, too dry, black edge.

Order is not recorded. After a good 1 hour (at least entertained with the European Football Championship) and three complaints, the food arrives. Not what was ordered, but it was corrected. The food is very good, dessert was on the house as an apology. 9.50.- for 1 liter of mineral from Italy. Aren't there enough sources locally? But untrained staff cannot make up for this. The boss spends more time walking than serving, a young assistant doesn't understand much German and just clears up. Only the boss tries to correct the damage. It's a shame, maybe the next host will do better.

The food is still acceptable, the service is a disaster. It's not the friendliness of the employees, but the disorganized service, where people march to the buffet empty 100 times without the empty plates or something being cleared away or you being able to order something...

Massively disappointed, forgot reservation despite calling several times in advance, over 1.5 hours until the last meal was delivered. Forgotten starters despite ordering. In between, the waitress brings dessert that wasn't ordered. Everything seems chaotic, the wrong food was delivered to the table several times. 2-year-old child receives a sharp knife for pizza (it's still possible), including waiting 50 minutes for the children's pizza. The boss' service lacks any friendliness and decency

Waren über den Restaurantbesuch extrem enttäuscht. Getränke wurden schon falsch gebracht, nach 1h 45min. erhielten 4 von 5 Personen das Essen, eine Person wurde ganz vergessen, eine Person erhielt keinen Salat - der war dann immerhin auf der Rechnung. :-) Sollte einen gemütlichen Muttertag werden - werden dieses Restaurant bestimmt nie wieder aufsuchen.

We wanted to come back after the lockdown opened to give the restaurant a second chance, because last year we were very disappointed with the visit! Now, even though the restaurant had to be closed for so long, the garden restaurant was in a catastrophic state! Dirty chairs, tables, everything was full of chocolate even though it wasn't rush hour and the service staff was standing around inside... Cigarette butts lay on the floor next to the table. Especially at the moment, hygiene is even more important, but this is not being taken into account. It's a shame the restaurant would have a great starting point but there's a lot of experience missing from the management!!!!

After ordering our food we still have 1 hour. Waited until what was ordered was served! We were 4 people. A salad was forgotten. The food itself was ok

Waren heute zu zweit da wurden genervt empfangen und stehen gelassen, nach dem wir einen Tisch aufgesucht hatten wurden wir für 20 min gekonnt übersehen. Wienerschnitzel kam zügig obwohl auf längere Wartezeit hingewiesen wurde doch leider ohne Kapern und Sardellen da kann ich auch ein Schnipo bestellen der Grüne Salat war ein Nüsslersalat und ging Retour wurde aber nie ersetzt. Es wurde weder gefragt ob es Recht sei noch später entschuldigt. Service ist untere Leistungsklasse und Essen bewegt sich auf Haushaltsniveau. Das war das erste und letzte Mal. Typische Tourismus Beiz es gibt immer Gäste da kommt es auf schlechten Service nicht an

Man wartet ab Bestellung 1 1/2h bis das Essen kommt. Warum auch immer?! Das Essen ist nicht mehr als durschnittlich. Bedienung/Personal ist eine Katastrophe, total unprofessioneller umherlaufender Hühnerhaufen, lustlos und unmotiviert. Wer der Chef ist, der das ganze etwas koordinieren müsste, ist auch nicht klar.....Wir waren aber nicht die einzigen die mehr als 1 Stunde für mehr oder weniger „einfache Menus“ warten mussten, es ging allen um uns herum gleich (kleiner Trost!)Dazu kommt noch dass der Spielplatz auch mal einen neuen Schliff gebrauchen könnte, auch liegt überall Abfall herum (und das schon lange). Generell ist es recht schmuddelig dort.Hier müsste „Bumann der Restauranttester“ von 3+ mal ran um den Laden auf Vordermann zu bringen!Echt schade für die Location und den Standort, hier wäre viel Potential vorhanden!

Es dauert 1.5 h bis das Essen kommt, und das war das 4te und letzte Mal das wir hier waren! Die Spielanlage ist nicht gepflegt, es liegt Müll hier rum und vieles ist kaputt. Voll runtergewirtschaftet. Schade um den Standort.

Qualität nimmt ab.. kalte pizza geliefert!!

Familiär geführter Betrieb mit einem super Gemütlichen Garten. Ist auf dem Land und mit dem Auto erreichbar. Man könnte auch mit dem Fahrrad oder nach einem längeren Spaziergang dahin gelangen Eine super grosse Speisekarte und für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Leckeres Essen, Gemütliches Lokal, Freundliches Personal und normaler Preis Besucht: 01. Dezember 2020
