I feel the same way: I've tried countless small and large coffees from manufacturers everywhere - in the end I end up back at Kaffee Küng! Great selection, hand roasted here, you can even watch it when you go to the store. The insider tip for coffee lovers. My favorites at the moment: Winti mixture and Roma.

Lightning-fast shipping (ordered at 4:33 p.m., shipped next day), excellent coffee, freshly roasted, excellent value for money, highest quality, perfect for my portafilter. Update June 10, 2022 (original review was from April 2020): Nothing has changed in the last 2 years. I still don't know of a better roasting company with such consistently excellent quality, lightning-fast shipping and a more than fair price. But with Blue Mountain Jamaica, roasted on June 1st, the roastery has set a monument for itself. Without exaggerating, I can say that I probably made the best espresso of my life. I adjusted my grinding level a little finer to the slightly lighter roast and set the brewing temperature a little higher, which meant that I was rewarded with a 32g espresso made from 16g ground coffee in 30 seconds, which is second to none. An incredible pleasure, thank you very much for this great work and I hope to continue to be a regular customer for a long time.

As a coffee lover, I have tried countless coffees from many small roasters - only to conclude: The best coffee roaster is a stone's throw from our home! The Küng family roasts with a lot of passion and love for their craft and offers a large and very interesting selection with many fascinating specialties from all coffee regions in the world. They are super friendly and fulfill every wish, even beyond the actual offer. Just great!

Was buying coffee beans. You won't be allowed into the store as long as Covid exists (it was different in spring 2021). Sales staff extremely unfriendly. Had the feeling that you were unwanted and didn't want to sell coffee at all. I would have loved to go back. A pity.

It doesn't get any fresher than straight from the edge. Friendly, helpful and a range from very good basic mixtures to selected specialties that the expert staff can find their way around very quickly and competently.

Top roastery and very friendly family business! The Küng family’s coffees are among my absolute favorites. As an espresso fan, I regularly order the Roma, Napoli and Milano varieties. The beans are always of excellent quality (no breakage, even roasting) and smell great. The roasting date is also always stated. In addition to espresso, the company also offers many other excellent coffees. Limited specialties are also always included. And all of this at very fair prices. Orders, whether online or with pickup, work smoothly and quickly. It's great to see that there are some very good coffee roasters in the canton of Zurich. Küng coffee is definitely one of them for me.

I have been buying my coffee from Küng Roastery for years. Because you initially offer a lot of different coffees and you can choose your own grind for your coffee if you wish. The staff is always very friendly and always invites you for a coffee when you pick up your coffee from them. If you don't know anything about coffee, it doesn't matter; the staff will help out with their specialist knowledge and help the customer find the product they want.

I only buy my coffee here (mostly Roma variety - strong but not bitter). The advice is great, the range is wide and the smell when you come in...fantastic! You can try everything and there are always special roasts and varieties. I also really like the design of the packaging. The prices are absolutely reasonable for the quality you get and are less high than you might think. And you know where the coffee comes from. Small family business that has been based in Winterthur for several generations!
