Booked with the gourmet passport (summer last year without problem with all the choice of the menu)! We arrive and order a Chinese and after a few minutes asking if there is a salad the other waitress tells us that with the passport we are only entitled to the menus (45.- or 64.-) so no choice and we find ourselves with the knife at our throat! Menus with starter and meal and if we don't like it we can't choose! It was written very small on the passport but they changed the system and boss since last year and it was great and very good! The gentleman was unfriendly and did not warn us about the passport and the lady a bit better! We were surprised and faced with a fait accompli (site not explained with the menus to take) Disappointed we will not come back! And we will not recommend given the atmosphere and the welcome

Certainly not the right evening! We were very poorly received. The service was completely overwhelmed, the drinks arrived (wrong) about 30 minutes after ordering, despite our 3 order reminders. The dishes "arrived" 1 hour after ordering, fondue without potatoes, tartare without toast, roast beef without tartar sauce or fries. We had to ask for the side dishes several times and the waitress didn't seem to be sorry about that... The prices are very high for the quality of the dishes and the atmosphere of the team didn't seem great Maybe everything goes well when there are only 2 tables but that evening the service was deplorable!

We enjoyed a delicious cheese fondue with friends during our visit to Bouveret in rainy weather. The welcome was very warm and friendly despite the fact that we had not reserved a table, the staff were extremely friendly to be underlined. Very nice setting and good atmosphere. We will be happy to come back.

Very nice restaurant and beautiful terrace. The staff is very nice. The perch fillets were in pieces on the plate. Too bad the presentation wasn't great (small salad with perch fillets never served). But I would repeat the experience.

A great discovery! Friendly and smiling staff, we were able to discover the cod acras as an aperitif because the bouverette fritters were sold out, the féra fillet and the perch vests were excellent both in terms of cooking and taste. We will come back without hesitation

We eat well in this establishment located on the banks of Lake Geneva. It's simple but it's made with love. A noisy oeh if the train passes, but the lake is so close! There are not many good restaurants in Bouveret, so choose La Batelière!

A discovery for us who come from time to time to the port of Bouveret. They even have small portions which was much appreciated. So a visit worth repeating.

The salad was not very fresh, leaves already oxidized... too bad... it was well presented...

Nice surprise ! Delicious fish and chips! For children, they offer several dishes and it is also possible to take the dishes from the menu in small portions.

The earliest breakfast at the Port! Traditional restaurant, the menu features meat& fish. Recently under new management. Friendly staff. Great terrace near the ferry terminal.

Inadmissible cuisine I went there for lunch with my family, we already had to wait more than 40 minutes to get our drinks and an additional 30-40 minutes for the dishes. In addition to an unfriendly waitress who clearly didn't want to be there, the food was of poor quality. A child's dish of pasta with tomato sauce whose light orange color reflected the lack of taste of the tomato (the chef clearly admitted to us that it was a recycled base). Let's move on to a summer salad in which half of the ingredients indicated on the menu were not present, all in minimal quantities. I myself ordered a tasteless trout tartare with more salad than the main course. A second beef tartare was present but the taste and sauce were missing. The last dish was a Milanese escalope which we almost confused with a sole covered in jam. We ended up asking the boss for explanations or an arrangement but this was absent. It goes without saying that I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant.

We went to eat for lunch. The reception, non-existent. The interior of the restaurant with its vaulted spaces is pretty, seen in the distance over the lake. The price per glass of wine is very reasonable, but the price of the dishes is too expensive. On the other hand, very good initiative for children, great choice, with the whole menu being offered to them, at 50% of the price. In terms of cooking, I had perch fillets, it was just good and the presentation was canteen level. The service, in the juice, was underwater with only 3 tables per server. We won't go back there. Negatives: Extremely slow service. Very average dishes, not to say bad. Positives: Pretty terrace. Friendly but overwhelmed server.

This is a bad experience. Let me present to you the positives and negatives: Good points : The place is nice. Some servers remain in a good mood despite their overflow. Problems encountered : The service is extremely slow, probably due to problems in the kitchen. The waiters are often absent, but when they are present, they run around like crazy. We had to wait between 45 minutes and an hour between courses. We ordered a 0.5 liter beer, but received 2.5 dl. The croquettes (Bouveret fritters) to accompany the aperitif were served 30 minutes after the starter salad (served without bread). We chose the specialties, namely schnitzel and perch fillets (the croquettes were supposed to be a starter). The perch fillets were fatty and prepared in a "different" way (without having been dipped in flour, just in a pan of oil). It wasn't good. The vegetables were hard and cold. We spent over 110 CHF for two people, without dessert or coffee. I think it's better to wait a bit before returning to this place, which is very overrated at the moment.

We went there for a family dinner (3) on a Sunday afternoon reservation at 12:30 p.m. We received our meals at 2:00 p.m. Scandalous! What disorganization. At the price of the plates I expected excellent Swiss service. And the icing on the cake, we accept a lady who shows up in panties with a simple t-shirt to dine in the restaurant. Help! The boss obviously put on his blinders as if it was normal to show up in underwear. The layout of the terrace with mismatched parasols as if we were under a straw hut in the south of France. I've seen better. I will not come to this establishment again. Great disappointment!. The only positive point was that my fish was delicious.

Restaurant located on the edge of the lake in Bouveret with a large terrace. We ate a morel steak with local asparagus and fries. Everything was excellent. The welcome and staff were charming. To recommend.

A place not to be missed. The menu is varied and meets all needs with very fair prices. The service is top notch with competent staff. The updated place has retained its initial charm. Perfect for an aperitif at the end of the day on the terrace with a view of the lake and inside where it is very warm. I recommend without compromise. We came to eat, I was a little disappointed, the tartare had huge pieces of parmesan. And the tartar sauce from the perch fillets as if it had turned. But otherwise it was good. The terrace is magnificent.

Very pleasant and smiling staff. The quality of the dishes is very good given the very affordable prices charged there. They offer fish from Leman on the menu most of the time. The little extra is the half portions offered for the vast majority of dishes which avoids waste and allows gourmets to taste more dishes.

Located on the edge of the lake with parking right next to it, this restaurant offers Perch fillets from the lake, a typical, delicious and very hearty dish. Respect of distancing rules and vaccination pass. It is better to make an appointment in season. In summer it is possible to eat on the terrace. Children will find activities to keep them busy in the nearby park.

Never had such a bad tartare. Poorly cut meat with just a little olive oil and parmesan, no flavor. Luckily there was a dab of Cap Bon harissa on the side to add a little flavor! Good old salad mixed with the daily menu but I must admit that the fries were good.

First plate 1 whole fillet of perch and the rest of the fillet waste and the fries three different colors and the cold middle with the possibility of making two knots on a fry for flexibility. Madame's second plate 3 whole fillets of lake perch?? Sale of fillets like the first but with plain potatoes which I don't think is of the day. (1:45 hours work with drill without dust collection 1m 50 from the table and 3m in height (thanks for the dust and the trash bin in service behind Madame's chair.

Great establishment, very correct

Times are tough for businesses with COVID-19 and Port Valais is a very quiet place at the moment, but the owner could not have been more hospitable when we stopped by and ordered an impromptu takeaway. He provided the children with crisps as we waited and we enjoyed a couple of lovely beers! Beautiful steak for us and the kids loved their chicken. Rounded off a lovely day just perfectly.
