Prices can vary between 48.-, 60.- and 98.- francs per kilogram depending on the type of almonds. The manager is the image of the store front. He's not the most outgoing of traders, but you can find a certain charm in his slightly rustic side.

Today, looking for sugared almonds in the city of Geneva, I unfortunately came across the Boîte à Dragées S.A. A small store dedicated only to sugared almonds. At 2:10 p.m., I arrived in front of the store but the store was closed. However, the door displayed that the store opened every Monday at 2:00 p.m. Already off to a bad start... After a few minutes of waiting, the person in charge of the store finally arrived while apologizing for his delay (there were 3 people waiting outside the store). La Boîte à Dragées probably offers the cheapest sugared almond in Geneva; but then, all at the expense of customer service. The “seller” has no customer vocation. Little interested in what the client is looking for. He even seemed a little offended when I asked him to write down the prices for me on a piece of paper. In short, not a seller at all. Quite an arrogant guy. If you are looking for sugared almonds in Geneva, it is better to visit other stores (maybe slightly more expensive than the Boîte à Dragées) where you will be better treated (some will even offer you a taste of their products).
