Very good cuisine with good products accompanied by excellent wines from Vetroz!

About the meal nothing to say very good however we asked for a carafe of water worth 3frs when we asked it was explained to us that it was a carafe of and for the association "don't touch" when ordering the carafe the sommelier with the non-existent smile didn't tell us anything so we came across as stingy idiots whereas if it had been explained from the start we could have given more because it's an association that I support. We haven't said a word about the doggy-bag worth 0.80cts on an addition of 320 or 360frs. I won't come back again, too bad for the terrace in summer 😢

Arrived a little unexpectedly, very friendly and warm welcome from the manager and his staff. We had a hunting terrine as a starter, a Neapolitan pizza as a main course, and a rib of beef cooked over a wood fire which was a treat and to finish 2 homemade tiramisu. I recommend this address, advice reserved beforehand because it will save you from surprises 😲

We ate the roe deer (minimum for 2 people) and it was very filling! Delicious game with amazing side dishes! The only flaw was slow service but it was worth the wait as everything was very good!

Hilarious !!! Used to going to La Cambuse every Sunday, about 6 years ago, the boss threw me out the door because I had asked for a dish that he didn't want to serve me. So I asked him for 2 fried eggs and he threw me out. This gentleman has a strong unpleasant character with loyal customers!!!

We visited the restaurant on the recommendation of my sister-in-law. Very good and fresh offer - great steaks from the wood grill. Gabriela from Portugal also provides a great, uncomplicated service. It's a pleasure to get advice from her. Very extensive wine list with many tips from Valais. An evening that was fun.

My daughter posted a review of this restaurant which we have already been to several times and there has never been anything to complain about. On the other hand, this time there were 8 of us and we had a variety of dishes. All were more or less good but my son's was inedible. He had octopus and there were 4 of us who tasted it and found it inedible. We called the boss and he questioned what we were saying. He took the liberty of tasting the plate and telling us that it was very good and that we didn't know it. In short, the octopus was yellow inside and it smelled bad and tasted rancid. Then he left without offering us anything else and not coming back to see us. It’s a dish for almost 38.— I find it a bit expensive not to be able to eat it. We were so disappointed and especially with the reaction of the boss in addition to the not good dish that my daughter posted a negative review to which the boss replied that she had a problem in her head!!!! My dear sir, I promise you that my daughter will receive an apology from you because this cannot be done.

Ate at noon 10 people The boss probably expected us to consume wine etc. and he made us feel that we were "taking up space" because we weren't consuming. Ordered a plate of octopus: It had a rotten taste, it really wasn't good, excuse me for the term. 4 of us tasted it, we all didn't think it was good, we called the boss. The boss does not at all accept being on the TheFork platform with its 50% discount... he has very inappropriate behavior and remarks towards the customers who use the latter for a reservation. Experience which was most unpleasant! I felt devalued by the way she responded when my girlfriend dared to ask her for a jug of water (she wasn't supposed to know that I had booked through the platform) and her response was: "we let's not serve jugs of water to The Fork customers,... we have to live well..." it's not very classy of him to have responded in this way knowing that my bill in the end, and even with the discount of 50%, was more than 150 francs for two people because I had played the game of getting a great bottle for 55 francs and some aperitifs. First and last time!

2022: New visit. Good meal, friendly and fast service, some rare gems on the menu. Now I recommend! By returning, the problem was resolved. Plus, great, no mask, no control! Once the piece of meat was replaced and the waitress tamed, it wasn't bad.

We went there with family and friends (a table of 6), the pizzas were very good, the frog legs too, for my part I took the boss's suggestion, it was slow-cooked beef. and I think it was one of the best meats I have ever eaten in a restaurant, it was juicy, you didn't even need a knife to cut it because it was so tender. The welcome was very pleasant and the decorative atmosphere was just as pleasant, which is for sure that I will come back!!!

We were welcomed like kings. The dishes were of very good quality. We ate outside on a perfectly furnished terrace with a roof system against bad weather and in the shade. At the end of the service, we were treated to warm jokes from the establishment and they offered us coffees and beers. I 100% recommend this restaurant. Thank you for the moment shared.

Bon restaurant, le patron est parfois un peu trop à vouloir décider pour les clients je trouve, dommage! Le serveur avec l'accent très serviable et sympa.

Je rédige cet avis après avoir été allé pendant deux semaines car nous suivions une formation dans la région et l’école avait choisi ce restaurant. Cet avis est mûrement réfléchi et après avoir vu le patron crier sur son employé (alors qu’il nous rendait service en organisant une table à 4, bref.) je tiens à ce qu’il sache qu’en tant que client, je ne peux pas cautionner un traitement de la sorte et en profite pour relever quelques points d’amélioration plus qu’urgents. - salade de tomates, mozzarella en novembre. - le patron qui traite ses employés comme des chiens. (Alors que le serveur, grâce à sa bonne humeur, est le seul point positif de ce restaurent.) - ragoût de chevreuil insipide. - pâtes trop cuites et non salées. - le riz comportait des grains cuits et non cuits et puis avaient un arrière goût très désagréable. - les garnitures des pizzas ne tiennent pas car la sauce tomate est tellement liquide, affreux. - le dessert c’est du surgelé - le patron remet en cause notre parole en lui disant et en le montrant que nous avions trouvé un poil. C’est la première fois que de l’entrée au dessert, je n’éprouve aucun plaisir en mangeant. Je me suis forcé à manger ces deux semaines pour me remplir pour pas avoir le ventre qui gargouille l’après-midi. C’est terrible de devoir fermer le restaurant à cause du Covid mais peut-être pourrez-vous utiliser ce temps à bonne escient en réfléchissant à une carte de saison et revoir les fondamentaux en cuisine.

En deux mots : honteux et médiocre, et encore les mots sont faibles ! Je me permets de rédiger un avis car je n'ai jamais été autant déçue. Forcée d'aller manger dans cet endroit qui est une honte, il ne devrait pas avoir le droit d'être appelé restaurant. Les serveurs sont superbes. Le patron est humiliant avec eux. Il est toujours derrière leur dos alors qu'ils font leur travail à merveille. J'ai eu la malchance de goûter à différents plats mais celui de ce jour était le pire. Un poil dans mon assiette, du riz avec des grains trop cuits d'autres pas cuits, un goût de moisissure et une couleur non uniforme suspecte, il y avait des taches jaunes dont je n'ose imaginer la provenance. J'ai hésité à recracher pour ma santé mais ne l'ai pas fait. J'ai attendu le patron pour renvoyer le plat mais j'ai hésité par peur que le cuisinier se fasse engueuler. Le patron a touillé mon riz et a mis en doute ma parole. C'est honteux. Il m'a proposé un autre plat, j'ai refusé. Mes collègues avaient des pizzas gorgées d'eau ou des pâtes tellement cuites que ce ne sont plus des pâtes. Les 4 jours où j'ai dû aller y manger c'était à chaque fois pareil. Les desserts j'en parle même pas. Les entrées on te mixe l'entrée de la veille le lendemain (ça doit être pareil pour le reste des plats goût moisissure). Le parmesan pour les pâtes contient des moisissures également. Gros manque d'hygiène et de respect ! Aucun légume utilisé n'est de saison, c'est également une honte. De la chasse avec des vieux vermicelles passés de dates ... c'est honteux. J'espère que cela changera mais j'en doute fort ! Heureusement que le patron doit avoir de gentils amis qui mettent de gentils commentaires car ça ne peut pas être l'avis des vrais clients vu la médiocrité des plats. En espérant que tout cela évolue. Mais en ce qui me concerne je dirais que c'est un lieu à éviter !

Pizza trop liquide. Pâtes pas terribles, fromage râpé avec du moisis. Le patron pas agréable et vraiment abusé avec le serveur qui nous a fait un service en règle.
