La Challa in Haut-Intyamon

It’s an alpine refreshment bar. Very nice place, like the staff. But I didn't eat, but I was told only good things.

Thank you... Thank you because I have rarely been so surprised by the quality and professionalism of a brand! Let me explain: it was quite simply a pure treat, I can assure you that my stomach still remembers it. The food is cooked as it should be and you can feel the quality of the food. A finger-licking fondue and röstis that will take you on a journey through the magnificent Swiss mountains. My sincere congratulations to the chef! In terms of service, nothing to say: the order is taken immediately and quickly, the table service is done with respect. Well done to the waitress who I could see doing well in English as well. Finally, having a meal in a poetic and idyllic setting, on a hiking trail at the top of a pretty hill, makes this meal exquisite. We even have the privilege of seeing chamois, red kites... So once again thank you to La Challa for this unforgettable welcome, you are by far the best hostel I have ever eaten in!

Typical and rustic alpine refreshment bar. There you can find dishes with Vacherin Fribourgeois, a typical cheese from the region. For dessert, the raisin tart was very good, the rest was average

The place is magnificent, the chalet is located in the hollow of a ridge, on each side we have a view of a different valley. Access from Plan Francey runs along the Moléson via the botanical path to the Gros Moléson chalet and from there goes down towards the Challa by crossing a magical forest. It can also be accessed from Neirivue via the Lévi valley
