Really a very nice place, a perfect welcome and service. The dinner was excellent (the room is magnificent) They produce their beer, their honey, everything is really good. The room was spotless, super equipped, soundproofed, a very good hotel at reasonable prices to discover. Thanks to the gentleman on Monday evening and the lady on Tuesday morning who were excellent.

Beautiful restaurant and good home-brewed beers. The price of the dishes is too high, even if the food is good.

The restaurant offers the possibility of celebrating the wedding at their home, but in return the owners are inflexible! To begin with, they took 2 weeks to give us an answer, either the person responsible is not available, or they had to call back tomorrow, or they say they will contact us by e-mail, in the end no one contacts them. For a daytime wedding party on a Friday they absolutely have to close the kitchen at 1:30 p.m., supposedly due to a lack of staff, otherwise for a 30 minute delay they refuse to serve. We contacted another restaurant that accommodates guests' needs, knowing that this is a reservation for a wedding, not a meal for 2 people. In addition the lady, Julia, told us on the phone: “you can do the photoshoot faster so you arrive on time”. What a great customer service approach... Do not offer such a service if you do not have the capabilities to perform it. We can conclude that they put enough money in their pocket to refuse large reservations.

Excellent restaurant, the staff is impeccable and smiling, the dishes are delicious. A big crush on the garden on summer evenings and during the hunting season…. A delight!!!

The quality of the dishes is excellent. Too bad the room is not well soundproofed. I'm waiting for the nice days to enjoy the terrace. I would really enjoy going back there.

Almost last minute emergency reservation.... Turned out to be excellent... Hotel with room (small apartment in fact) impeccable, quiet... The catering is a strong point: my tartare was excellent and plentiful. .. Another strong point: the kindness of the staff and the welcome... so very good overall..

Many very positive echoes were already widely present in our ears. Indeed very good address and very good discovery! The principle of showing each local supplier on their map is superb and very interesting. We ate really well and we have no regrets. The house beer is superb. Frankly, we will go back and recommend this restaurant to other friends if we want a "good address".

We stayed here for one night while we were passing through to another part of Switzerland. We got a 2-bedroom apartment, which was great to accommodate our family of 5. The service was friendly and we would be happy to stay here again.

Great meal at the restaurant! Saturday if the weather is nice in the parking lot there is a flea market, anyone can come and sell, a contribution of 10 francs is requested to be paid to the person responsible on site! Very nice atmosphere ✌️

Very nice decoration in the restaurant which gives it a nice charm. The staff are friendly and the food really excellent. The house beer is not bad. Small downside regarding the service: a little slow at the end of the meal to clear empty plates or worry about whether we still wanted something. I recommend 🤤👍🏻

Great experience to enjoy such a feast in complete darkness! Pleasant service and a cheerful, relaxed atmosphere. Great moment of laughter and taste pleasure. I recommend! Only downside: you have to take a bus from Friborg train station but it's worth it for the cellar, the on-site brasserie at the restaurant, the quality of the food and the service.

Good, clean and functional rooms. Ideal for pilgrims on the Way of St. James. Very friendly and attentive staff. The brasserie is stylishly and very comfortably furnished. The food in the restaurant is very good. As usual in autumn, we had game. The homemade beer “La Rousse” is fantastic. One of the best amber beers I've ever had in Europe. I will come again. For sure!

We spent two nights in this quiet hotel 10" from Freiburg and 20 from Gruyeres. Next door is a craft beer factory, the excellent service would be repeated without hesitation.

What a lovely place, we stayed at the annex - spacious,exeptionally clean and functional appartments w.balcony, super functional bath a.kittchenette, nothing missing - most comfy bed and on top fantastic food and such a friendly and welcoming host - thanks so much ! Would be great f.bigger groups as well, they brew their own beer - great facility f.tasting in a cellar from 1752, we ll be back !!

This review is for the restaurant. The welcome was great, the waiters run everywhere to satisfy the customers and what's more, they always keep a smile. Excellent meal, meat with very good sauce and garnish, dessert so good, the homemade strawberry ice cream that my daughter took with her menu was super good, you could taste the real taste of strawberries. Nothing to say, the cuisine is great there, you wouldn't be disappointed! The atmosphere was great, we ate outside and the garden was very nice. I would have given it all the stars but at the beginning we waited 1 hour to get the tartare salad (for one person in the group) and another half hour to get all the dishes once the salad was finished. It was also a Wednesday, and not too busy. I find waiting too much. And a small note, the tartare didn't have toast with it, but bread (which they call toast before serving it to you) and it's not the same.

WOAW! =D Starter and main course with tasty and refined cuisine, the chef places emphasis on local and colorful flavors, all accompanied by attentive, caring and caring staff. We can only recommend this little corner of paradise with a pretty shaded garden where you can taste their craft beers.

Typical Swiss country hotel with an attractive brasserie. Room clean. Nowhere is it mentioned that breakfast is not included in the room price; it is only charged upon departure. At check-in we were not informed about this, we were only told the times. Bus filing station in front of the door. The boss in the morning was a passionate hostess, the rest of the staff distant.

The rooms are very simple but have a very comfortable bed. If you have a room facing the street, you can unfortunately hear the traffic very clearly with the window closed. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is made with a lot of love. There are various breads, cheese and ham or various jams made to order. However, it wasn't clear to us from the start that breakfast costs an extra 16 CHF per person.

The suite, the brasserie and the final breakfast rounded off our stay in Friborg in a hearty way. The hostess was extremely charming and tried to communicate with us, despite our poor French. The kitchen of the house is unique. The ingredients and products come from their own hands, as the family also runs a butcher shop and a farm. Short transport routes, delicious food and hearty hospitality. What more could you want from a local business? We would give 10 out of 5 points if that were possible. We will be back definitely!
