La Favolosa in Thun

I stopped by Tune Village and thought I'd try some gelato, so I saw a nearby place with good reviews, so I went in and it was really delicious! I personally like the taste of coffee, so I go around Europe and check out which stores have good coffee, and this is the perfect style of coffee that I like. It tasted like coffee👍🏻The other flavors recommended by the friendly lady were also great! It was the most delicious during my trip to Europe.

I read a review saying this is the best ice cream in Switzerland, and thought "mhh that's a pretty bold claim". I then went to test by myself, and I do have to admit : this place serves exceptionally delicious home made gelato and is indeed one of the very best ones in Switzerland. To top it off, the service is friendly and enthusiastic.

We were lucky enough to taste the ice creams of "la favolosa", I had never tasted such good ones, not even in Italy! I guess Swiss milk and Italian craftsmanship make a good tandem! Very nice place to go for an authentic GELATO, my girlfriend and I always go when we are around Thun and we always enjoy the experience. You have two locations of the place one before the bridge that connect with old town and castle zone and the other one at the promenade of the town before the bridge. Lots of choices of flavors and prices ok. Maybe one of the best Ice creams that I try in Switzerland. The service is also very efficient and fast, they know what they are doing. If you are in Thun and you want to try Italian Gelato is a must to go.

I knew Gelateria Favalosa as a small, pretty coffee shop in Bälliz. It offers the best ice cream in town. Unfortunately, they expanded too quickly and did no favors with the Mühleplatz location.
