Truly one of the finest restaurants in Geneva I believe they should have a Michelin star. The food is a surprise who is real good taste, the atmosphere is is just soothing and delightful. The stuff is Siri special, joyful and supportive especially I have few health conditions which they remembered every time I came to the restaurant.

I was walking by La Finestra when an unfortunate incident occurred with one of their servers. My dog had left a small smudge on the street, which I had tried to clean up as best as I could. However, the server ran out and yelled at me, insisting that I clean it up properly and stating that my dog was not trained properly. I was taken aback by the server's reaction, which was confrontational and accusatory. I understand the importance of maintaining cleanliness in public spaces and taking responsibility for my pet's behavior. However, the server's response was excessive and unwarranted. It would have been much more appropriate if the server had approached me calmly and suggested a solution to the situation, rather than yelling and making baseless accusations. I ended up proposing using a water bucket to clean up the smudge, but I don't believe that was my responsibility as a passerby. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and courtesy by the staff at any restaurant. However, even as a non-customer walking by, I expect to be treated with a basic level of human decency. The server's behavior was completely unacceptable and I hope that La Finestra takes steps to ensure that their staff is trained to handle situations like this with more professionalism and tact in the future.

I visited la Finestra with some friends and I cannot recommend this place enough. The host was amazing, super kind, and very attentive to our needs. The menu offerings are limited but perfectly formed. The food was presented immaculately and most importantly delicious. Loved the atmosphere of the restaurant as well. A must try.

The lamb dish has a little sider with it. My friend ordered it because there was polenta served with it. But it was very small. The obsuccco dish was very fulfilling. The meat was tender enough. We ordered a rose. It was perfect. It was served at a very good temparature. Digestives at the end of the meal was from the house. As a desert if you like desert made from fruits, the pear with ice-cream was delicious. Paid 410 chf for four persons, with wine, dessert, main dish for each and a small salad as an entrée.

We waited almost an hour between the starter and the main course. Very, very small portions, ravioli (6 pieces) for CHF 42. A dissuasive price, even for Geneva. Everything on the bill and little on the plate The restaurant rides on the recommendation of the Michelin guide. I will not recommend this restaurant.
