The best experience for cheese lovers! Highly recommend dropping by during one of the cheese making demonstrations, so cool to meet the cheese maker (he speaks French only but there is an instructional video with English subtitles) and learn about the traditional processes used. The cheeses they make here are DELICIOUS, some of the best I had in Switzerland - make sure you buy some to take home! Beautiful terrace in the alps to enjoy a glass of wine and cheese plate or fondue, and super friendly staff. Highly recommend!

We just left the restaurant and we can't say anything but good things. Both the manager and the woman who served us have been very nice. The fondue and the very delicious meringue dessert and the mountain scenery have made the meal a unique moment. I would return without hesitation

Horrible experience, the manager is very unfriendly, watching the cheese making process she closes the windows in your face and the tasting is ridiculous, you can't even appreciate the cheese. At lunch time, we ordered a fondue for two people and they gave us one that was barely for one person, wanting to charge us for two. After protesting about the size of it, they finally charged us for only one.

A great improvised outing for motorhomes. 10fr per night on gravel or grass at the top. Activities galore. On Sunday we decide to eat a fondue so we will buy the fondue but no bread. Good 😥

Great little cheese making experience in the mountains. You get a video demonstration of how the cheese is made translated into English and German. And then a master cheese maker shows you how they make the cheese. Unfortunately this bit is all in French so it’s hard if you don’t understand the language but still pretty cool. The scenery is amazing! The they serve food but only take a certain number of people so reserve a table well in advance if you want to come here. They sell the cheese they make and it all tastes delicious.

It is a beautiful area. They have a large free parking lot and you can get there in 7 or 8 minutes walking. Sitting on the terrace with the sun, a plate of self-made cheese and a beer is priceless. We paid €16 for the demonstration they offer, which consists of a video of about 10 minutes and seeing how they make the cheeses live. The nice thing is to see it in what seemed to be a small stable from many years ago. At the end they offer you to taste 3 types of cheese so you can buy it and/or eat it right there. They accept cards.

If you're in the area, stop by to eat and buy their delicious cheese! It's really worth it ! I had a daily menu. A salad like I've never seen before! Fresh and delicious. Then, a magnificent lasagna and a double cream meringue for dessert! Really delicious and the service is really very pleasant. I recommend it to you, with your eyes closed!

My girlfriend and I had the Reginale cheese fondue, which was above average even for this fondue region. The service, the food and the ambience were top. The restaurant also has its own cheese dairy, with really delicious cheese. Soap made from 🐐 goat's milk was also sold. My girlfriend & I loved this restaurant & will visit again on our next visit.

Beautiful place to eat on the terrace on a sunny day. The friendliness and kindness of the owner and staff are invaluable. Varied dishes of excellent quality and succulents. And the dog was not forgotten. Unlimited fresh water. Visit to the Top cheese factory with adequate explanations. We had a wonderful day. Arriving early with a reservation for five, we decide to have an aperitif on the terrace even though the weather is threatening. Although the staff told us that dinner would only be served indoors due to staff shortages. Enjoyed by little Chasselas, we order a plate (25.-) with the second bottle of wine (35.-), we clearly hear the manager insisting on the fact that the customers on the terrace were “inflating” it… What about it? think ? Is Friborg tourism already saturated at this time of the season that it is authorized to insult customers and not need the windfall that a meal for five people represents?! In short, avoid this place and go eat further down in the valley…

During our stay in Switzerland, we had the opportunity to discover this cheese shop and restaurant. A magnificent setting and a very warm welcome which made us want to return there the next day. We enjoyed an excellent fondue this lunchtime, a real treat and we even bought some local cheeses to continue the pleasure this evening. A charming young woman who not only took care of us during the meal, but who also gave us advice on sightseeing for the rest of our stay. I recommend +++++!!

The Fondue was very good, but the service was not. We were a large group, so we reserved and even ordered well in advance. But it still took over thirty minutes for the food to arrive. It was difficult as well to flag waitresses. We had to on multiple occasions because they only brought small amounts of bread and water for a large group. One waitress was very kind and attentive. But we felt neglected compared to the other tables. We suspect because we were tourists while they seemed local. Unfortunately, we would not come again.

A very unusual place, high quality service with a nice smile. The Moleson fondue is a pure delight, as is the double cream meringue. Thank you very much for sharing this flavor. We took a tour of the cheese factory with explanations from the cheese maker plus a tasting, it was nice, especially considering the price which is really fair. Then we decided to eat there, the setting is very pleasant, the food is good. My only complaint for me is the price of certain dishes which I find a little high. On the other hand, we enjoyed the crusts. The staff we encountered were very good.

Very tasty! Good location and service. Very annoyed ordered small and large soup they were served in the exact same bowls and the same quantity yet the small portion was half the price. Used to do soup in a cottage loaf and that was well worth the money. I’d come again but order a small soup.

The cheese fondue is worth the trip, the view and serenity is worth a second (would give the fondue another go too I think) the path up however can be a little difficult to navigate, especially if you have a pram, heavily gravelled and slightly slippery under foot, so wear appropriate footwear, carry the kids and make your way up the hill for some bloody awesome cheese!!

Succulent dishes, very pleasant, courteous and attentive service. A few animals are located right next to the terrace to keep the children occupied if necessary. Quiet location, no road traffic. For children, the possibility of choosing a dish from the menu proportionally adapted to small bellies is perfect. Much better than fries/nuggets! A place where you feel good. An extraordinary cheese experience. The 50% Vacherin 50% Moléson fondue is quite simply the best fondue I have ever eaten, and greatly outperforms the traditional Savoyard fondue. All in a very authentic mountain setting, made of wood and traditional objects. The staff is adorable and the menu is also designed for those - unfortunate people - who cannot eat cheese. All for an addition that remains correct (considering the fact that we are in Switzerland). In short, an essential stopover during a visit to the Gruyères region.

We returned as a family on Sunday August 25, 2019 and confirmed the 5 stars. Everything was perfect, the meal, the service and the alphorns! Even the good weather was there. Memorable weekend in more than one way! May 2019. Five stars of encouragement, for new owners! The cleanliness was done both outside and inside. The cheese menu is quite complete, the service and welcome are friendly and smiling (unlike previous years!) The setting is fantastic and grandiose. Definitely worth the detour.

We had a great time and ate very good products. Not being a fondue fan, I won't be able to talk about it. Nevertheless, the friends had a great time. The macaroni was excellent. However, they deserve to have extra grated cheese on the side. Because the original portion falls off very quickly so it's good. The service was excellent and with a smile 😉 Address to register for a new stay in Switzerland.

Very friendly and warm setting unlike the welcome and service, like a feeling of disturbing the staff, with unprofessional and unpleasant attitudes and ways of responding. Very original children's menu with the price which changes according to age (3 years -> 3 francs, 4 years -> 4 francs ...etc) and pompom on the Garonne the pitcher of tap water is 3 euros 80!! ! Soon a tax on the umbrella or tax on the time spent at the table!! Good soup, good fondue, overcooked pasta, salad with mediocre cheese with industrial vinaigrette, stale bread, very good red craft beer, and the exceptional water from the pitcher given the price it will even make you rejuvenate!!

Nice little place, shame we arrived in the rain. The lady who waits at the tables is tireless and the cheeses are delicious. Of course the environment is a bit rustic, but it fits here with the cows in the mountain pastures. The coffee is one of the best in the area and definitely great value for money. A tip: order the soup!!!

We visited the farm and had lunch at the farm restaurant. The cheeses are very tasty. My husband ordered Gruyère soup and I had a salad with fried goat cheese. I didn’t like the salad at all, I’ve never seen such a wild combination of products in one plate: in addition to cheese, there were lettuce, radishes, tomatoes, melon of two colors, porridge, chickpeas and burnt toast! They make cheese, but the rest is not very good.
