Food quality was good. Prices are ok for this quality (excellent). Service is good. However, their staff could do with better English language communication since most of their patrons are likely to be resort visitors (potentially non French speaking visitors). Their daily specials are also only in French language. Wished they could have got that translated so non French patrons can also understand their daily special menu.

Don’t get me wrong; this place was a decent one as far as ambience and price range. However, out of the five of us that dined, three of us had very bland food. My wife’s fish lacked entirely of flavor, my pasta side was completely tasteless until making my own adjustments, and the dirty Greygoose martinis we ordered weren’t dirty at all and there was something citrusy in it that I couldn’t quite identify. When we asked for a side of olive juice, they brought a spicy infused olive oil saying they don’t have olive juice. This was not the first five star restaurant in Verbier where we ran into this issue with the dirty martini 🍸 so maybe it’s just something more western and I can’t always get what I want. My deer steak 🥩 was incredible! I don’t often get a chance to order something like that so it was a treat. I’m told the pork chops were equally delectable and I tried a bite of the tuna steak which was damn near melting in my mouth. I’d like to rate higher for service but, after a couple of our requests, a couple of the staff seemed annoyed…even a bit terse at times. Overall it was a good meal shared with great company. My dessert looked and tasted great. 👍🏼 Glad we had reservations because every restaurant in Verbier on NYE was booked and full.

We had a fantastic experience at La Grange! The melted raclette was incredibly delicious, and the spaghetti with shrimp was simply amazing, also the chocolate mousse was great as well . Service not particularly friendly and very forgetful. Had to ask for accompanying gerkins for raclette having which became a chore; constant request from more cheese lessened the pleasure of having it.

Amazing fondues, the one with tomato is super tasty. It can be a bit crowded, reservation is much needed. Parking available in front of the place or close by for free for a short time.

We went to the gastronomic side of the restaurant and really enjoyed our dinner. The restaurant combined coziness of a chalet atmosphere with good local cuisine. The ingredients were quite high quality and while the dishes were pretty simple, we could feel the attention to detail. The service was very pleasant and welcoming. My rating: 4.2

La Grange is a fantastic 3rd generation family-run restaurant with excellent staff. Well worth booking a table for dinner & going for one of the dishes whose ingredients are prepared over the open flame range visible in the main dining area. One of our party had had a skiing accident earlier that day, and had to be driven from the hospital in Sion which is a 2 hour round-trip. Nevertheless the restaurant kept our reservation open on a very busy Saturday night even though we were an hour late. This was the best meal we had in Verbier and we thoroughly recommend La Grange.

Friendly welcome even without having booked. On the other hand, at the start of the meal I wanted a menu and then I changed my mind to have something else, notably the oysters which were not part of the menu. I made the remark and unfortunately the bill was corrected in a lot of bad faith. The waitress told me what I had was on the menu. After checking the menu I saw that this was not the case and the waitress came to me saying that she could add it to the menu, instead of taking responsibility for her mistake. The final bill was still 20.- cheaper than the menu so... Too bad also for the traffic jams at the entrance to the restaurant towards the changing rooms, which makes access to the toilets difficult.

Excellent typical restaurant, fast and friendly service. We had meat and rostis as an accompaniment: everything was delicious! The premises are clean, bright and welcoming. The tourist office recommended it to us and it was a very good choice!

Absolutely avoid in case of intolerances / allergies. I mentioned my gluten intolerance upon arriving to our server. My starter arrives, coated with soy sauce. I ask the waiter if he checked that the sauce was gluten-free, he replied that yes, he and the chef checked. I ask to see the bottle, to be sure. He brings it to me, and obviously “wheat” in bold letters on the list of ingredients. I point it out to him. The answer: “ah, is wheat gluten?”. I thought it was a joke in very bad taste, but no, he really didn't know. Unacceptable not to know this when working in the restaurant industry. I wonder how many people this server made sick...

Tasty good And attentive service

Last service is at 10 pm, not 12 am. I called beforehand and was told otherwise, so I walked to the restaurant in the pouring rain. When I arrived they said they can only serve cheese. However, the restaurant is still packed past 10 pm with several tables waiting on food. It was horrible because I wouldn’t have made the trip if they didn’t say they could still serve me on the phone literally 10 minutes before I arrived.

They saved me from starving after the first concert night, and I kept going back. Delicious dishes (their lunch menu is a steal for any foodie), excellent service by young professionals, and nice atmosphere (they got creative with stylish dividers indoors).

One of the best in Verbier. I love its local cuisine section as much as its gourmet section. Game season is a must in LA Grange. This game is perfect and its choice of various vegetables accompanies everything with love. The welcome and staff are very warm. In short, a very good address.

Nous avons visiter ce restaurant en juin 2020 du côté gastronomique.Cadre rustique avec ce restaurant en bois, on se sent vraiment à la montagne !Au niveau du service, le personnel était aimable mais ne connaissais pas très bien la carte des vins.La carte des vins proposent de belles choses. Nous avons pris des pièces de viande au grill, la cuisson était pas mal, les sauces très bonnes et les röstis aussi. Les frites n’étaient pas exceptionnelle. Nous avons passé un bon moment à cette adresse.

I was there on my own, for lunch. I had the pasta as a main course, cheese plate and dessert of the day : apricot gaspacho. + : service was quick and nice. They accommodated me with the cheese plate that was not in the menu+ : the average quality of the food was good+ : very cosy and charming atmosphere - : cheese portions were a bit small-: mushrooms coming with the pasta tasted like water and lacked seasoning and cheese salsa was rather bland- : dessert was good but definitely heavier than a gaspacho (as you have big chunks of apricot and some kind of sponge cake underneath the apricot soup. Therefore shouldn’t be named as such. (I actually ordered cheese before, thinking the gaspacho would be too light). - overall lacking fish and vegetarian options

Amazing local and international food. Came here Teo times and wouldn’t mind to eat here everyday but place gets very busy and it’s recommended to book in advance. Have nice oysters, salads, fish (turbot) and steaks .. anything we tried was excellent!

Wir waren gestern, um einen Geburtstag zu feiern, das Restaurant besteht aus zwei Teilen, gehobener Küche und ungezwungener Atmosphäre.Wir wählten das Casual für die Atmosphäre, wir wurden nicht enttäuscht, der Service war gut, das Essen gut und der Geburtstagskuchen lecker.Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, wir empfehlen es auf jeden Fall und werden wiederkommendann kam ein saurer Punkt von der freiberuflichen Fotografin, als wir ihr sagten, nein, sie wurde ein Ärgernis und würde uns nicht in Verzweiflung lassen. Sie sollten in einem solchen Restaurant nicht erlaubt sein, wir alle haben jetzt tolle Kameras auf unseren Smartphones.
