Avec notre repas nous avons commandé du vin rouge sur la carte au prix de fr 10.— le décilitre! Au moment de payer le tarif du vin était de fr 12.— le dl.Le serveur soutenait qu’il n’avait pas de vin à fr 10.— le dl et nous a servi sans nous demander du vin à fr 12.— le dl .. nous avons exigé une correction du ticket ce qu’il a fait avec mauvais humeur ! En nous présentant une carte différente qu’à notre arrivée!, Il a rectifier le ticket en bougonnant!, Cet établissement devrait s’habituer à ne plus avoir de riches étrangers cet hiver avec la pandémie et prendre un peu moins de haut les touristes lambdas qui viennent découvrir Verbier et les autres stations valaisannes ! Nous ne pouvons donc pas recommander cet établissement!

Magnífico lugar en la mejor ubicación de Verbier. El personal es extremadamente amable y el ambiente es encantador. Comenzamos con las bebidas Sundown en la terraza seguido de una deliciosa cena dentro del encantador restaurante. No puedo esperar para regresar.

Me gustó la comida y el servicio. Especialmente el caviar de berenjena. Definitivamente un lugar para visitar en Verbier.

Gran restaurante en el corazón de Verbier. Increíble interior y ambiente. ¡Tenía las pizzas de masa madre que estaban súper sabrosas y perfectamente acompañadas de una cerveza elaborada en el lugar! Lo recomiendo encarecidamente.

Nous avons passé un bon début de soirée en dégustant un apéritif bien installée sur la belle terrasse de l'établissement. Nous avons préféré nous rendre à l'intérieur pour prendre notre repas car les salles du restaurant sont très accueillantes. La carte offre un choix varié pour les amateurs de viandes, poisson ou végétariens.Il y a également un assortiment de pizzas au feu de bois qui faisaient le bonheur d'une familles italienne à une table voisine. Pour les entrées, les amateurs de salades fraîcheurs auront le choix car tous les légumes proviennent de producteurs locaux. Le Gaspacho aux tomates de la vallée du Rhône est onctueux. En plat, nous avons opté des filets de truites et un tartare avec une viande irréprochable et bien assaisonnée. Belle carte des desserts et des vins. Des clients voisins avaient l'air de fortement apprécier les bières élaborées dans la brasserie du restaurant. Lors de notre prochain séjour à Verbier, nous ne manquerons de revenir dans cet agréable établissement.

We had a reservation for 6 people at 20:15, they did not even take our order until 21:00, the starter arrived 45 minutes later and the main course at 23:00. The bar scene seems to work, but the food, the wait times and the service are terrible. Never again.

Cela fait 35 ans que nous venons à VERBIER alors on est contents quand il y a des nouveautés. Ce restaurant situé entre la place centrale et Médran (départ des cabines) est joliment et chaleureusement décoré. On se croirait dans une bibliothèque anglaise. C’est original. Réservation téléphonique qu’en Anglais, heureusement qu’on le parle. L’accueil est agréable. On a été servis par 2 serveuse. 1 était souriante mais l’autre semblait déjà blasée à 19h. Faut changer de métier madame ou sinon laissez vos ennuis à la maison. Nous, nous sommes venus passer un bon moment en famille.C’est assez bruyant, on était 4 et on avait du mal à s’entendre à table.Les plats étaient bons dans l’ensemble. La choucroute n’était pas très généreuse et assez simple (Voir photo)Le vin était bon également.Le fondant au chocolat était très bon avec son sorbet mangue/passion par contre déçus par le kaki qui n’avait pas de goût et si c’était vraiment du kaki il était vert car pour pouvoir couper un kaki en dés il ne peut pas être mûr Prix corrects (pour Verbier bien sûr) Je recommande quand même ce restaurant pour l’ambiance et si on veut manger autre chose que des mets classiques au fromage de montagne

Schöne Umgebung und Lichtatmosphäre Die Wartezeit für Starter und Main war schrecklich Das Essen war nicht beeindruckend, wenn man dort Pizza und Bier holt, alles andere ist es nicht wert

Très joli endroit avec un service très médiocre et une nourriture quelconque où même les carafes d eau sont facturées. Nous avons commandé une bouteille de vin qui est arrivée 1h après, soit en même temps que notre entrée. Une des serveuses ne parlait pas un mot de français et nous a proposé la carte des desserts alors que nous n avions mangé que l entrée, il est vrai que cela faisait déjà 1h30 que nous étions là... nous avons du plusieurs fois demander à avoir nos verres de vin remplis. Bref, je ne recommande pas cet endroit et n y retournerai pas même si le cadre est très joli.

Vie Montagne ist ein vergleichsweise neues Restaurant in Verbier. Während es Pizzen verkauft, ist dies eher ein Ort für einen besonderen Ort mit einem besonderen Menschen oder Freunden. Die Sharing-Platten eignen sich hervorragend als Vorspeise. Ich hatte den Burger, der absolut lecker war - tolle regionale Produkte. Das Huhn sah auch toll aus. Wir haben mit Eis gegessen. Das Birnensorbet war ein Traum für die Schokolade, die es perfekt ergänzte. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und die Weinkarte war umfangreich mit einer großen Auswahl an Walliser Weinen.

Wir aßen am Silvesterabend hier zu Mittag und ich habe gemischte Kritiken über das Hotel gehört, also dachten wir, wir würden es versuchen.Das Bier war sehr schön, riesig und vor Ort gebraut.Der Service war schrecklich, sehr langsam und die Angestellten haben sich nur ein bisschen "nicht um uns gekümmert".Sowieso das Essen. Die Vorspeise mit dem Mezé-Mix war also nett, der Hummus hätte aber viel mehr Würze vertragen können.Ich hatte die Pizza als Hauptgericht und es war wirklich eine Verlegenheit. Durchschnittliche Basis mit rohen Eiern. Katastrophal.Meine Freunde hatten die Leber, die durchschnittlich war und die Curry-Linsen, die nett war, aber auch hier muss der Koch lernen, wie man würzt.Ich würde dieses Hotel noch einmal versuchen, da der Veranstaltungsort wunderschön ist und die Weinkarte und das Bier sehr schön sind. Aber das Essen braucht etwas Arbeit!

We went as a family on Christmas Eve and had a fabulous evening. Stylish interior, great food and service. My favourite restaurant of the holiday. Really looking forward to going back. Better than the W!

Professioneller Service, freundliches Personal, leckeres Abendessen, kühle Atmosphäre. Wirklich schöne Umgebung, entspannend. . und mitten im Zentrum von Verbier!

Letztes Jahr hatten wir eine großartige Zeit mit einem einfachen Essen in diesem wunderschönen Restaurant, da wir zu spät waren, um das Gourmet-Abendessen zu probieren. Dieses Jahr sind wir mit der Familie zurückgekehrt und haben einen schönen Tisch auf der sonnigen Terrasse bekommen. Der Service ist immer noch freundlich. Sehr begrenzte Auswahl. Die Amuse Bouche und Vorspeisen waren sehr gut. Als Hauptgericht wählten drei von uns das Wagyu-Rindfleischgericht, das in einer Schüssel präsentiert wurde. Zwei von uns konnten die Fleischstücke nicht schneiden, da es sehr zäh war. Es war auch schwierig zu kauen, also mussten wir es auf einen Seitenteller legen. Wir sagten der Kellnerin, es sei nicht gut und sie bot an, es durch ein frisch zubereitetes neues Gericht oder eine Alternative zu ersetzen. Dies war eine elegante Lösung. Die neuen und alternativen Gerichte waren gut. Ich mochte die Präsentation in einer Schüssel für ein Hauptgericht immer noch nicht, da die Brocken zu groß waren, um sie einmal in den Mund zu stecken, und deshalb geschnitten werden mussten. Das ist fast unmöglich. Als Entschädigung wurde auch ein Dessert unserer Wahl angeboten. Wir haben uns für ein Dessert entschieden, das normalerweise CHF 19 kostet. Es bestand nur aus einer Kugel grünem Eis, einigen sehr kleinen Stücken roter Früchte und einem kleinen Müsli. Es war okay, wenn ich CHF 19 dafür bezahlen müsste, hätte ich mich wieder beschwert. Ich würde vorschlagen, dass das Management und der Chef ihren Geschäftsplan überdenken. Es ist nicht gut und glauben Sie mir, wir lieben den Ort. Vielleicht versuchen wir nächstes Jahr nur noch einmal zu überprüfen, ob sich die Lage verbessert hat. Andere beschwerten sich ebenfalls und wir fragten uns, ob die Köche in der Küche sich jemals gefragt hätten, ob sie diesen Geldbetrag für die Qualität zahlen würden, die sie bieten. Schande!

Le cadre est chaleureux, une belle décoration. On s’y sent comme à la maison,Cette impression se confirme par un personnel attentionné.Le service est au top niveau.Pas le stress d’un double service. On a le temps de savourer un bon moment. La formule d’un menu à choix est excellente. Plats raffinés et de grande qualité. Grand choix de vins régionaux ou d’ailleurs à un prix correct. Une des toutes belles adresses de Verbier pour un bon moment en couple ou entre amis.

Siamo stati a Vie Montagne per il brunch. Il locale e'molto accogliente, e con un bel terrazzo esterno con vista sul centro di Verbier. Buffet ricco,con scelta di piatti caldi dal menu che vengono preparati esclusivamente al momento e che sono inclusi nel prezzo del buffet. Veramente buoni anche i cocktail e la carta dei vini. Servizio informale ma professionale con staff gentile e simpatico.

Service au top, cadre super agréable avec beaucoup de vieux bois et plats excellents et fins, pour changer des croûtes au fromage... C'est évidemment un peu plus cher qu'ailleurs, mais ça vaut clairement le coup et c'est justifié par la qualité du service.J'y retournerai !

Dans un cadre magnifique, la cuisine est excellente et raffinée. Mention spéciale pour le poisson. Un service de qualité. A ne pas manquer, même sans être membre.

Dining here was excellent. Tranquil atmosphere and an exciting 3 courses, each fresh, creative and delicious. Without a doubt our experience was hightened by the attentive and respectful waiters whom were ever welcoming. I'll be back for the lamb.

Great location close to the centre of town. Food is exceptional and so well presented and cooked. Easily the best dinner we had during the week. Staff are polite and friendly. Decor is clean and beautiful. Highly recommend !

This was our third visit and by far the most enjoyable. From the graceful welcome to the exquisite food and speedy service we enjoyed every minute of our dinner. A special mentioning for the imaginative cocktails, the pretty plating and the knowledgeable sommelier. The clublike atmosphere was much appreciated. We will be back!

We did eat in the dining area. Option between two menu's: 3 courses for 85 or 6 for 135 Sfrs. We went for the 3 course diner. Starter with tuna was very good and original. Foie gras was good and not surprising (as it should be!). Main dish was black cod which was nice, so was the beef with morilles. But portions are fairly small. Two small pieces of meat with some morilles are quite different from the steak Fiorentina of 800 gram we had in Rome for Euro 40, especially as this dish cost 10 Sfrs extra. Deserts were very nice. But again small portions. Service was very friendly, helpful and personal. In fact we received two glasses of prosecco on the house to celebrate my birthday. Only 3 or 4 tables were occupied. Bottles of wine start around 60 Sfrs. Our bottle of Cornalin 2017 was decanted, because I asked for it.

Die ersten Eindrücke waren sehr positiv, als sie das Restaurant betraten und für ein Familienessen in den Speisesaal geführt wurden. Die Gastgeberin, die uns begrüßte, war sehr freundlich und gastfreundlich, sowohl beim Betreten als auch beim Verlassen. Der Speisesaal ist wunderschön, ich liebe die Einrichtung und wie ein anderer Kritiker kommentierte, ist es schön, mehr Platz zwischen den Tischen zu haben. Der Service war anfangs in Ordnung, wurde jedoch mit dem Fortschreiten des Abendessens immer weniger aufmerksam. Unser Server war nicht besonders freundlich oder einladend, eher zurückhaltend, sogar ein bisschen hochmütig. Dies ist in Verbier selten, da der Service immer freundlich und effizient ist, unabhängig von der Restaurantklasse. Das Menü hat eine gute Auswahl und ich fand es insgesamt recht günstig. Ich bestellte die Gänseleberpastete, gefolgt vom Rindfleisch, und ich muss sagen, dass ich von beiden auch nicht wirklich begeistert war. Die Präsentation ist nett, die Portionen sind klein, wie man es von dieser Art von Einrichtung erwarten würde. Irgendwie fehlte das Aroma, besonders beim Rindfleisch, es war nicht so zart, wie ich es erwartet hätte. Wir mussten versuchen zu signalisieren, dass unser Wein bei einigen Gelegenheiten aufgefüllt wurde, da uns unser Kellner scheinbar vergessen hatte und die Dame, deren Aufgabe es war, das Wasser einzuschenken, nicht befugt war, den Wein einzuschenken. Wir sind Stammgäste in Verbier und ich muss sagen, ich würde zögern, zumindest zum Dinner Club zurückzukehren. Ich habe gute Kritiken zu den eher lässigen Abschnitten gehört. Der allgemeine Grund für meine Enttäuschung war der Service und der weniger als freundliche, sogar schroffe Kellner.

Trevligt men aningen förvirrat intryck. Pavlova desserten var bara ett fåtal smulor maräng, mer som rester på smulorna som blivit över av trasiga kakor. Basilikaglasseb föll mig inte alls i smaken Råbiffen och den svarta torsken var mycket god.

Bei der Ankunft wurden wir herzlich begrüßt und schnell gesetzt. Der Service war informativ, effizient und unauffällig. Das Ambiente ist warm und stilvoll. Dann wird es einfach besser. Das Essen ist göttlich. Die Speisekarte ist sehr abwechslungsreich und ich hatte weit weniger interessante und eindrucksvolle Gerichte in mit Michelin-Sternen ausgezeichneten Betrieben. Dies ist bei weitem das beste Essen in Verbier, ich kann es nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Das tollste Essen, das ich je gegessen habe. So schnell hat der Chefkoch ein komplettes veganes Menü für mich zusammengestellt. Vegan-freundliches Essen ist in Verbier ziemlich schwer zu bekommen, wenn Sie nicht für 2 Mahlzeiten täglich Nudeln und Tomatensoße essen möchten. Die Köche kreierten die schönsten Gerichte mit so schönen Aromen. Mein Vater (der nicht vegan ist) war sehr beeindruckt von den Mahlzeiten, die ich hatte. Das Hauptmenü, von dem er aß, war ebenfalls lecker und wurde so sorgfältig präsentiert, dass jeder Teil des Essens darauf abzielte, die anderen Komponenten zu ergänzen.Die Schweiz ist ein ziemlich teurer Ort, und die Preise von Vie Montagne sind vielleicht etwas günstiger, aber vergleichsweise sind die Preise nicht viel mehr als Restaurants von viel schlechterer Qualität.Ich kann das Essen, den Service und die ganze Erfahrung, die ich im Vie Montagne hatte, nicht beanstanden.Vielen Dank : )

Service mauvais et très long pour un bel endroit ! Dommage de ce manque de professionnalisme et ce, malgré une cuisine pas mal. Des progrès à faire...

Un design curato, un'attenzione per i dettagli rendono il Vie Montagne un locale unico nella splendida Verbier. Al piano inferiore una brasserie con un menù casual che accontenta tutti i palati, una selezione di birre "home made", un cocktail bar completo dove gustare ottimi e innovativi cocktails e infine ... una zona ristorante fine dining con una selezione di piatti raffinata ed elaborata. Un locale perfetto per qualsiasi occasione, consigliatissimo.

Wir gingen zum Abendessen mit Freunden und Familie. War so aufgeregt, den Ort zum ersten Mal zu sehen, aber die Erfahrung wurde durch die Haltung des Kellners ruiniert.Mein Freund bat um einen Salat als Vorspeise und der Kellner antwortete sehr ernst und abrupt: "Salat? Das ist für Kaninchen!"Was ist los mit den Leuten?Ich gehe nicht zurück.

Très beau cadre! Nous avons l’habitude d’y venir boire un verre mais n’avions jamais manger au restaurant. Accueil en bas de l’escalier par l’hôtesse à été très froid et sans un sourire donc dommage. Le personnel du restaurant du haut est agréable et c’est bien occupé de nous. Nous avons pris deux menus à 85chf qui étaient bons. Le dessert était à notre goût un peu simple par rapport au prix. A l’addition nous avons remarqué qu’il avaient augmenté le prix du vin blanc que nous avons commandé à l’apéritif, nous avons demandé une correction à notre serveur. Cela peut bien sur arriver mais il aurait été convenable quand on a mangé pour 300chf à deux de nous offrir un café pour s’excuser. Sachez aussi que l’eau qui est servi automatiquement en carafes est facturée 4chf. Malheureusement nous ne retournerons donc plus dans ce restaurant car pour le même prix on peut trouver bien mieux à Verbier.

Es ist so angenehm, endlich einen Ort zu finden, an dem erlesene und leckere Gerichte serviert werden, die sich jedoch von den üblichen Speisen von Verbier unterscheiden. Alle unsere Kurse waren ein Erfolg, ganz zu schweigen von den jungen Begeisterten über das (selbstgebastelte) Brot. Die Puddings, die ich nicht schmeckte, waren anscheinend nicht von dieser Welt! Sehr gut dekoriert in einer aufdringlichen Art und Weise, die eine äußerst angenehme und warme Atmosphäre schafft. Es ist eine Freude, keine Tische zu haben, an denen man Wange an Wange sitzt. Ein sehr aufmerksamer Service. Es ist vielleicht kein Ort, an dem Sie jeden Abend hingehen würden, aber ein wahrer Genuss, wenn Sie gehen.

Notre diner au restaurant fut extraordinaire. Le menu enchanteur ne ment pas : la cuisine est impeccable, même dans l'exploration de plats plus traditionnels comme la tartiflette. Nous avions entendu parler de ce restaurant l'an dernier sans avoir pu y manger. Sa récente réouverture en fait un incontournable de la région. L'ambiance est classe tout en restant chaleureuse, ce qui ressent au sein de plats raffinés mais réconfortants. Les desserts sont à ne pas manquer!! Nous avons passé une excellente soirée.

Cuisine de Haut niveau , personnel attentif , décor somptueux, et ils font de la bière dans le bâtiment c'est incroyable

Le cadre est très sympa, l'accueil chaleureux et la carte originale et sophistiquée. La carte des vins plaira aux amateurs de bons crus valaisans. En particulier pour les amateurs de Cayas 2013, servi au verre. A conseiller vivement!

On se sent tout de suite très bien, tout est beau, la lumière est parfaitement diffusée. Le service est stylé et relax et la nourriture délicieuse. Sans oublier une carte des vins proposant des magnifiques crus valaisans et d’ailleures.

Une première expérience que nous souhaitons renouveler pour nous faire une opinion plus précise.le repas fut rapidement servi. la présentation fut originale. l'entrée, les joues de porc et le dessert à la crème citron nous ont ravi… nous aurions aimé davantage dans les assiettes. Este restaurante cuenta con una comida excelente el Fine Dining que tienen de verdad que va le la pena que vayan a cenar, tienen diferentes tiempo y te dan un menu diferente cada semana, tuve la oportunidad de ir varias veces a cenar y siempre fue delicioso.

Nach dem Konzert im Salle des Combins während des Verbier Music Festivals waren wir hier, um ein kleines Abendessen zu essen. Uns wurde gesagt, dass wir vor 10 Uhr ankommen und wir hätten die Wahl zwischen einem Gourmet-Abendessen oder ein paar Snacks. Bei der Ankunft war nur Letzteres möglich. Wir entschieden uns für einen Käse und Fleischteller sowie ein Avocado-Gericht. Alle drei waren sehr vood. Sie haben eine schöne Weinkarte und die Preise sind nicht so schlecht, wie man es in der Schweiz gewohnt ist. Wir genossen die schöne Umgebung und können die Innenarchitekten beglückwünschen. Es ist ein schönes Ambiente, bequeme Stühle und wirklich etwas anderes im Vergleich zu den lokalen und traditionellen Restaurants. Sehr freundlicher Service von der Matre und der Kellnerin. Wir werden nächstes Jahr wiederkommen, um das Gourmet-Abendessen sicher zu versuchen. Vielen Dank.

Après 1:30 d’attente nous avons reçu une entrée minuscule pour remplacer une entrée plus disponible. 2 minuscules morceaux de poulpe accompagnés de croûton de pain et d’un gaspacho. Très belle présentation pour masquer le ridicule du plat! Nous avons réclamé mais le chef nous a dit que c’est comme ça sans aucune excuse même si les serveurs (très sympathiques et professionnels) avait l’air de notre avis. Le chef nous a dit que le prochain plat prendrais encore 45 Minutes! Nous étions en tout environs 20 dans le restaurant! La viande de bœuf était dur et les accompagnements très mauvais (patates enrobé dans une croûte de sucre dur... et 3 brocolis! Fromage et dessert correct. Aucune excuse et aucune compensation si ce n’est un shot d’alcool....Très belle endroit mais c’est ce que l’on appelle du ‘foutage de gueule’.

Une réception très accueillante, une table confortable, de la place; des amuse bouche remarquables, une viande rancie sur os de la race d'Hérens que nous ne sommes pas prêts d'oublier. Beaucoup de gentillesse, de bons conseils. Dommage que le vin sélectionné ne soit pas disponible et dommage que la facture reçue sème le doute sur les montants. Que le restaurant ait besoin d'une comptabilité analytique est louable mais le client devrait recevoir une facture résumée. Dommage car c'est le seul bémol. Tout le reste était super.

Endlich ein schönes neues Restaurant, das gemütlich und mit gutem Essen ist! Wie schwer war das! Wir hatten ein gutes Essen und werden gerne wiederkommen. Die Cocktails machen Spaß und das Menü war genau das, wonach wir gesucht haben: entspannend und raffiniert.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Abend hier, das Restaurant und die Bar ist so stilvoll und perfekt eingerichtet, die Angestellten waren exzellent und die Pizza, die wir im Erdgeschoss hatten, waren wirklich eine der besten, die ich probiert habe. Ich würde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen für mehr, eine großartige Ergänzung zu Verbier's Restaurantszene!

Der Service war so langsam wir waren im Restaurant für 1 Stunde bevor wir bestellen konnten und 2. 5 Stunden für die Dauer der Mahlzeit.Am Ende verzichteten wir auf die Wüste, da bis zum Aufstehen nicht einmal die Befehle erteilt wurden.Wirklich hat es viel Stil, aber kann nicht für die Substanz bürgen.

A relatively new establishment with two different areas. Downstairs is a more casual setting where pizzas etc are served with some of the home brewed IPA and lager.Upstairs is the Club Room which is more formal. We received a warm welcome. The atmosphere is friendly and the food excellent, and sensibly priced unlike some other places in Verbier.Highly recommended ☺

We were enticed by the modern interior and interesting menu. Staff were very professional and engaging. Service was first class, as was the food, which was delicious and inventive. The only thing lacking is atmosphere, but I’m sure that will come with time. Definitely worth a visit.

6 of us dined here to celebrate a friends birthday. The restaurant was very busy and had a great atmosphere we were a little worried reading some of the reviews but we were delighted with both the food and the very friendly and professional service the wine we chose was not available and the sommelier offered a more expensive replacement but charged the price of the wine we’d originally ordered. I would certainly recommend this restaurant with no hesitation at all.

Cadre magnifique ! Et ce qui s'annonçait être une bonne soirée a vite tourné au cauchemar. Si vous aimez passer 5 heures au restaurant ne cherchez plus c'est "The place to be". D'abord nous sommes placés dans un coin de salle, il faudra attendre 30 min avant qu'une serveuse vienne nous voir. Nous essayons de passer commande mais déjà un 1er obstacle: elle ne parle français, ce qui n'est normalement pas un problème à Verbier...mais cela le devient lorsque la carte est rédigée en français et qu'elle ne l'a connait pas. Nous lui montrons donc les plats avec nos doigts pour éviter tout malentendu. 45 min plus tard des entrées arrivent, mais pas de chance, aucunes ne correspond à notre commande (il n'y a que 3 entrées sur la carte et nous étions 3, vraiment pas de chance). Soit!, nous avons faim, nous les acceptons sans rechigner et attendons le plat qui mettra 1h à arriver. Le poisson, qui était très bon. Entre temps la serveuse a quitté son service et ne recevons ni visite ni excuse d'un éventuel "manager", inexistant. Ensuite l'aventure continue avec le "sommelier", qui est familier et tactile avec la clientèle, il a ouvert la conversation en nous parlant de football, aucun de nous ne s'y interresse, dommage. Après 3h passés à table nous nous faisons offrir des cocktails pour le désagrément et le retard. Et le Ponpon au moment de régler, nous retrouvons nos verres soit disant "offert" sur l'addition... Bref un sans faute pour cette équipe de choc. Comment investir autant dans un tel endroit sans avoir un personnel de qualité ? Un beau gâchis !

beautiful bar, changes from what you usually have in Verbier. Once you move from the bar to the dining table this is when the fun begins! All the appetisers that we ordered where the wrong ones. They came with a salad with powder on top of it. they call it the foie gras salad but since there in no foie gras in the plate we though is was just one of these salads that comes as an ''amuse bouche'' No one came to say they were sorry for he mistake. We had a table in the back of the restaurant they forgot us. We waited 1 hour for the main course. the entire thing was a joke. I could write two pages about that evening it was some kind of 4th dimension experience, Truman show. The owners build up a nice place and then they cut corners with cheap staff. Dont bother wasting your time there

Es macht immer einen schlechten Eindruck, wenn die Homepage veraltet ist: Der neue Koch heisst Rubén Aguilar Bel, es gibt nur noch ein 3-Gang-Menü für 85.- (kein Tasting Menü mehr). Der Lamm-Hauptgang war ein Witz: 2 winzige Stücke Fleisch. Weinpreise völlig überrissen: alles mal 4!

Tried it again for impromptu Friday evening drinks. Buzzy atmosphere, staff busy...great wines served by the glass but when we asked for a table for dinner we were told ‘no chance’. What’s the point of being a member? ‘They’re all members’ was the answer, a hand waving at the crowd. A few minutes later, having found a table elsewhere, ‘actually we have a table for you’. We stayed and it was worth it. Good food, reasonably decent service (a thanks for the tip would be appreciated) and everyone enjoyed themselves. A welcome addition to Verbier’s scene.

The bar is delightful; great atmosphere and the bar food is good, although a bit limited. The restaurant upstairs offers much more in the choice of food. We all tried something different, and everything was delicious, The prices were reasonable (for Verbier!), but they catch up on the wine - which was pricey. The only thing that was disagreeable was the service. For a good restaurant, it was seriously lacking, especially the wine waiter/sommelier, who was downright arrogant. This is their first season in Verbier, and I hope they get their act together, as it’s such a nice place, it should be successful. It’s just that when you are badly served, it’s hard to recommend a place which deserves better.

We really hope this place weeds out the bad apples in their staff because it’s a lovely spot with yummy food. The sommelier (or manager?) was absolutely rude. I’ve really never experienced bad behavior like that before - in New York, Paris, etc. He didn’t even bring glasses or offer for us to try the wine! When we asked for him to come back, he sloshed the wine in our glasses and remarked “I’m sure it’s good” and left. It really took the bloom off of an otherwise great night. We speak both French & English so we couldn’t figure out how we had offended him. Also the wait staff in the downstairs bar needs improvement. PS if it’s still open and you can go, the scallops & octopus starters and turbot main are delicious.

3 course menu for 85.-Sportily elegant restaurant. Feel-good factor is great. Per course four different dishes to choose. The food was excellent. The youthful service was extremely friendly, if slightly chaotic. A few small things are still worth improving but still i think that the 5 points are fair in the end.3. Gang Menü für 85.-Gepflegtes, sportlich elegantes Restaurant. Wohlfühlfaktor ist gross. Pro Gang standen vier verschiedene Gerichte zur Auswahl. Das Essen war hervorragend. Die jugendliche Bedienung war äusserst freundlich, wenn auch leicht chaotisch. Ein paar Kleinigkeiten sind noch Verbesserungswürdig und trotzdem denke ich dass die 5 Punkte am Ende Gerecht sind.

Après une expérience très positive au café du bas, nous avons tenté l'expérience au club de l'étage. Mal nous en a pris: accueil moyen, attente interminable; plats tiédasses et surtout une acoustique insupportable qui empêche de s'entendre au tour d'une même table. Bref notre déception fut à la hauteur des promesses que cet établissement laissait entrevoir. Nous ne renouvellerons pas l'expérience, Verbier offrant bien d'autres valeurs sures.

Inventive cooking, well executed in a really lovely setting. Friendly, efficient service. This restaurant is beautifully stylish, somewhere you really want to be great. I tried it a couple of months ago and to be honest it was a huge disappointment, but they have made changes and now i have no hesitation in recommending Vie Montagne

I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. The positive is that it’s cool, has a super vibe and a big thumbs up to the waiters and waitresses where the service was excellent.The negative is that the menu is limited and focuses attention on the fussy and complicated dishes. The menu offers very little to the normal person wanting normal food - so much so that there was not one potato in the whole restaurant. Even then the food I had was ok - only ok - the foi gras starter was just a pile of grated carrots with the smallest amount of fois gras - this was the best option. The lamb main course had by two of us was average and a bit bland. The dessert was excellent. I would love to go again but only if the menu is more appropriate.

The service was so bad we couldn’t even stay for the food ☹️It’s a new place, so we went to try it. The young people working there had no clue how to welcome guests. A young man stopped us at the bottom of the stairs and asked for our coats. This was the worst place for this as it blocked the access between kitchen and restaurant. Waitresses with loaded trays banged into us annoyed, another employee asked us to not stand there. When I told him his colleague made us stay there and asked him to talk to him, he just gave me a blank stare. They just wanted us out of there, and in a very rood way, too. I can only guess how bad the food and the service after that was going to be. Thank you to our hotel, the W Verbier, for taking us without reservation and preparing an excellent healthy and natural dinner for us!A tip to the ‘Vie Montagne’: move your coat rack to a better place.

We had a very top notch dinner in the fine dining restaurant upstairs. The menu is limited but the produce as well as the precision of the cooking was exceptional. Sommelier was a bit moody, some of the staff were smiling, others were slow. DJ came on at 11pm promptly and there was poor attention to sound quality, a bit of a surprise in such a nice place. I’d like to return to try the downstairs pizza place.

Four of us had dinner here last night. From the moment we arrived, the service was fantastic - extemely attentive, professional but discrete, exactly as it should be. We were very well looked after. The decor and the ambience are spot on - comfortable and cosy, with just enough of a modern vibe. The menu is not extensive and my fussy husband did struggle to find something he would like (but he is very fussy!) The food was on the whole delicious, from the bread with the starters to the petit fours with our coffee. We did think though that our main courses were rather unexceptional in taste - although beautifully presented. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant highly and will definitely be going back.

We went for afternoon tea to discover the new place and explore the Restaurant. It was beautiful decorated and the staff was very friendly. We loved the place. Unfortunately we tried to book a table for dinner but they only had a 5/7 dishes menu with a lot of specialities that didn't suit us. Perhaps we try again when we can choose a la carte.

Locale carino e molto accogliente, ho trovato un ottima e squisita birra ma a rovinare il tutto la pizza( se così si può chiamare), ragazzi non mettete cose sul menu se non si è in grado di farle...bocciato, un altro appunto accendete l’aspiratore in cucina perché in sala non si poteva stare.

This is a must try new restaurant in Verbier. Have eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner here. Service is excellent, music and ambience is spot on (soho house meets the alps). The food is extremely high quality and the cocktails are top notch. Informal casual dining on ground floor, gourmet dining on first floor in a relaxed setting and a really good bar on first floor with a cosy area where you can have cocktails without eating. Jolly set of barmen that know what they are doing. Good outdoor balcony seating for sunny afternoons. They even brew their own beer and it’s great.Hard to fault this place but the one area they could improve is the breakfast menu. The only hot dishes are based around boiled eggs. They could be a bit more flexible and offer scramble eggs etc. Verbier also needs a really good breakfast restaurant for those slow start bad weather days and they could easily fill those shoes with a tiny tweak. Smoked salmon with boiled eggs just doesn’t taste as good as smoked salmon with scrambled eggs.

Nous avions réservés pour 20h 30 . Nous sommes sortis à 11 h30 après avoir mangé 3 plats .....Une attente interminable et complètement incompréhensible étant donné qu’il s’agit d’un menu unique ! Comme c’est long que cela n’en peut plus on commande des verres de vin qui eux non plus n’arrivent pas . Et ils sont à peine remplis du strict minimum syndical que l’on doit les renvoyer! Enfin l’amuse bouche arrive , si ce n’est qu’il sera facturé 15 FS ...Le menu est à 85 euros pour trois plats mais quand l’addition arrive tous les plats sont facturés , ce qui les rend encore plus indigestes...Car la salade de carottes appelée neige de foie gras ....( je cherche encore le foie gras ) est vraiment une arnaque . Le pigeon ( mais qui sont les pigeons dans l’histoire ??) relève d’une brasserie française quelconque.Faisons l’impasse sur le dessert « myrtilles «  a peine décongelées insipide . L’addition enfin arrive , nous nous étions plaints de la longueur alors un geste fut fait ils enlevèrent trois verres de vin sur la note mais comme ils en ajoutèrent deux autres non bus ....Une catastrophe du début à la fin . Heureusement qu’a Verbier on peut aller dîner vraiment bien mais ailleurs !!!!

Venus dîner dans cet établissement , nous avons choisi le menu en 3 services à 85 francs avec des noms de plats alléchants après avoir déjà attendu un bon moment. Et à partir de là une attente interminable pour avoir l’entrée appelée neige de foie gras une simple salade composée et un ceviche (2 morceaux de crevette 2 fines tranches de saint Jacques 3 rondelles fines de concombre et 2 bouts d’avocat dans une petite « sauce » Le plat principal n’apparaît qu’après 2h et demi de présence de type cuisine de brasserie , quant au desserts ils sont quelconques . C’est à se demander si cette attente n’est pas voulue pour inciter les clients à consommer de l’alcool car en effet les bouteilles défilent à toute les tables . Et surtout,n’oubliez pas de vérifier votre addition en particulier les consommations. En bref, à fuir il y a mieux ailleurs dans la station dans cet ordre de prix .

The place is new and is fantastic, we love the idea you could have a very good pizza and a beer, but if you make reservations for the fine dinning they will take you to up the 1st floor and you can have and amazing finne dinning, they change the menu a lot so we have been there 2 times and is been great, Thomas, Ana, Grace everyone is so nice.

A new upmarket mixed members/ public restaurant and bar which opened at the end of 2017 in the old Rosalp hotel building in the centre of Verbier, English-run Vie Montagne is slick and has attitude. Upstairs is supposed to be members only but it seems that for now that just means members get tables first. The brightly lit upstairs bar invites you to enjoy well-made cocktails and the dining area decor is a cut above anything else in town.Service can be a bit unpredictable and friends have encountered staff not at their best, but overall the food was very good, the wine list excellent (and keenly priced) and management seem to be on the right track. Definitely worth checking back in when they’ve got everything running smoothly.

This place is certainly Mayfair meets the mountains. As a long term chalet owner, I am a bit suspicious of that trend, but am convinced that Vie Montagne is a great addition to the village.Points which are worth knowing:- upstairs is reserved for members, and diners having the menu degustation. It has by far the nice bar, and lounge area. However, you won't be able to have a pizza, and use the upstairs area. As a result, despite it being the busiest Friday night of the year, upstairs felt a bit empty despite there being a private party for 25 people.- the quality of the food is really high, but it's not mountain food. Fun for a group of adults for one night, but not a family place on a ski holiday.- best coffee in Verbier. I had an espresso which took me by surprise are 2 weeks of mediocre Swiss coffee (Swiss espressos are French style i.e. weak).- cocktails are the most elaborate and theatrical that I have seen anywhere. Very good bar staff.I went wanting in a very cautious frame of mind. I wouldn't go there every night, but I hope that it's successful. It's an ambitious and well executed concept.

Vie Montagne restored our opinion of food in Verbier!!! After a few nights of average food, abysmal service and crazy prices, finally we found a place that absolutely nailed it from the moment we walked in!!!Well done to Grace and Tom (hope we got that right) for an amazing restaurant and the experience you provide your guests! The food was superb, service was exceptional and the fit out and atmosphere of the restaurant was outstanding!!We are not sure what happened with our booking from OpenTable but Grace sorted it out, got us seated and then we enjoyed an excellent wine selection and we went for the 5 course degustation. The petit fours nearly stole the show too haha!!

Très beau restaurant, un style très montagnard, nous y avons été à l'ouverture, il y a des progrès à faire, mais la qualité est là, quelques ajustement du personnel et tout sera parfait. les plats sont bien préparé, la cuisine est bonne et les prix sont très abordable.

Is een nieuw restaurant, wat moeilijk te vinden terwijl het super centraal ligt. Erg mooi interieur, sfeervol ingericht. Lunchkaart is beperkt; pizza en wat salades, maar wel erg smakelijk. Leuk personeel.

We went several times to the Brasserie: easy menu but nice choices. The upstairs restaurant we enjoyed a delicious full menu of all different and surprising taste ! Bravo - new restaurant with also finally a good coffee!Very friendly with our kids ( suggestion: some coloring pencils for those kids who don't do iPad's in a resto :-) )

The location is nice in a newly built facility. The interior decoration is very attractive and trendy and quite eye catching. The restaurant has a «Brasserie» and a gourmet restaurant in the first floor. The later requires reservation. The brasserie offers just a few dishes and the bigger part of the menue is “pizzas”. Well we gave it a try and were very disappointed. A small deep pan oily pizza came, less than average. Since the same team cooks for the gourmet restaurant on the 1st floor one is unsure if it is worth spending the 75 CHF per head for probably average food. Pity though since the decoration and the location would have made it a fantastic place.....

We have been fortunate this year to test the tasting menus at 'French Laundry' and 'The Ledbury' and without a doubt the tasting menu at 'Vie Montaigne' is way better. Also they have an extensive wine list covering all options from a good Merlot to Lynch Bages at unbelievably good prices, not sure we can drink at these prices at homeAll the old restaurants in Verbier are going to have to raise their game since this beautiful restaurant has opened. Service levels very high, and a table layout where you don't feel your part of the neighbouring tables conversation. We loved it so much we returned the next day to sample their chilled cafe downstairs for lunch and had a perfect pizza from their wood burning over. Well done. We will return very soon.

Probably the best establishment in Verbier. The attention to details is almost disturbing! They have a nice menu for lunch with pizza and salads, and a fine dining tasting menu for dinner. They are supposed to make their own beers but it was not ready yet! We will get back in the winter to try those!!!Prices are really fair compared to everywhere else. They have an Italian barista!!! The cappuccinos were excellent, but the espresso was really strange and I could not drink it. They just opened so a few things need fixing, but overall it is an amazing place. Will go back during the season for sure!

This place has the potential to be a gold mine in Verbier and is such a cool place to hang. The place has super cool barmen that clearly know what they are doing and know how to wow the crowd. Little confusion of where you can and cannot eat confused me. But the food was insane would defiantly recommend it to anyone in the area out of this world. Just need to work on the atmosphere and this place will rock. It’s Verbier not London just saying l.

Myself and my partner ate here on two separate occasions, the first time down stairs in the Bier Haus and the following evening upstairs for fine dining. We shared a few different pizzas on our first evening and they were all amazing! My favourite being the pear and blue cheese! Not something I would have picked myself but we knew we were in safe hands going on the chefs recommendation. The interior was finished to a high standard and the overall service was impeccable. The following evening we were lucky enough to try the tasting menu which really was out of this world! For the standard of food quality, service and environment, the value for money is fantastic! I am so pleased we found Vie Montagne on our first visit to Verbier, we will make sure it will be first on our list to visit when we return! We also felt very privileged to meet the owners who took the time to talk to us which really was a lovely touch. We wish you all the best (The Scott’s from Scotland)

What an amazing addition to the restaurant scene in Verbier! Amazing food in the fine dining restaurant, well worth the journey. Before you have dinner you must sample the fantastic cocktails made by the best barmen in the swiss alps! Amazing service and wine list all in a very stylish interior. Downstairs there is a very cool and cosy bar where you can have the most delicious pizzas and other smaller snacks plus in house beers (made on the premises) A very welcome addition to the village and I am going to be a regular ..

Nous avons essayé ce nouveau restaurent un peu au hasard, beaucoup d autres étant fermés.C était une belle surprise. La terrasse était magnifique et la nourriture (uniquement pizza) bonne et peu chère.Nous nous réjouissons d essayer la partie gastronomique.

Wow.. there's no word to describe the dishes we have been served when we came to Vie Montagne. It was definitely the best, most reasonably priced food I have been served in a long time in this country. It was wonderful, plated/cooked the simplest way. The building is brand new and wonderfully set up with a view of the kitchen a top floor for the restaurant and a lounge bar area on the ground floor. Most importantly everything feels amazing from the moment you get greeted by two lovely fully bilingual receptionists, to the last bite of carrot cake they serve with coffees. We had a very special moment. Unfortunately we didn't enjoy the service staff as much as the dishes.. indeed it was a little too inexperienced in serving fine food to call it a fine dining service and the lady in charge of taking our wine order was a little bit too rough and impatient, we felt very uneasy to start with. However it didn't spoil our night at all and we are aware opening is definitely never an easy task so we have been very understanding. We will definitely be coming back on our next trip to Verbier and are hoping you will find the right staff to take the service to the same level as the food.
