We ate well, service was very friendly, parking space in the Coop building was fine, always there with up to 10 people in front of Theater Friesenberg,

I have rarely eaten as well as I did today. The Caesar salad was absolutely world class! The staff and the boss were very friendly and charming. 👍🏼 The steak was also cooked perfectly, I will still dream about this meal today. 😊 And the bruschetta and the lemon sorbet at the end were a dream... I wouldn't have expected any of this and was then incredibly pleasantly surprised. I recommend everyone near ZH to visit this restaurant, it's 100% worth it! Just a dream!

We celebrated a birthday here and had a very nice evening. We were warmly welcomed and served very nicely. The menu reads well and we first shared a few aperitif plates and then various main courses. There is also a good selection for children. The pasta was great and spicy, the pizzas were very good and large. The livers could have been a little warmer. But everything came together (with 9 people). The selection of desserts was also very good. Reasonably priced. A very good neighborhood Italian with nice service and a high return value. :)

In connection with our courses at Friesenberg, we eat lunch in the hall. Value for money is great...

Simply Bravo! Last Saturday evening we visited La Piazza with good friends (our first time). From A to Z a truly exceptional Italian restaurant in Zurich with top quality, warm service and probably the tastiest pinse in the city. My favorite from now on: Pinsa Bianca Neve! Big compliments to the managing director and team. By the way, they are also extremely dog-friendly. Gladly again soon!

In this restaurant I experienced an exquisite culinary journey. The diverse menu offered delicious dishes made with fresh ingredients. The service was excellent, the staff friendly and attentive. The pleasant atmosphere rounded off my culinary experience. An absolute highlight for gourmets!

Italian restaurant ideal for tasting the most famous and appreciated dishes of the Italian tradition. Generous and tasty portions. I tasted a spaghetti carbonare with rosé wine from Puglia and for dessert a homemade panna cotta. Fast and courteous service.

We were there for the first time and celebrated our daughter's birth with a group of around 20 people. We were super happy with the service and the food and felt very comfortable. We will be back!

Were there on Wednesday with a funeral party. The buffet was awesome. Attentive service as well.

Family atmosphere and staff very attentive to all your needs. Excellent food

Friendly welcome and the staff was friendly. The food was also very, very good. What I/we complain about is the attention. A waiter should come to the table every now and then and ask if you want or want anything else. Unfortunately no…. We had to call out again and again or make it known that we would like to have something more. If the restaurant was full I would understand. But not when there are only 5 tables occupied. 2 stars deducted for that. Paying attention and asking questions brings money into the till. But not if no one cares about it!

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, but unfortunately it is very quiet and you can't have a good conversation. I was a little disappointed with the food; The pizza base was burnt but the toppings were very good and plentiful. I wouldn't order the pasta Garganelli alla Fiamma again, it was too al dente and the sauce wasn't special, so I expected it to be more refined.

A hidden gem in Zurich! Went there because of a 50% à la carte discount. Was mind-blown by the price and the quality of the food. (With the promotion price, it's like eating amazing food in Italy) The owner was extremely friendly. And the decorations look nice. I will go there with more people again!

We ordered food over the phone, which was good. However, an absolute “NO GO” is the audacity to charge 7.00 for a small bottle of San Bitter via takeaway. In the Coop opposite, a pack of 10 costs 6.95 (!!!). Almost 1000% (in words "one thousand percent") profit is the most extreme usury of the worst...

We found out about Ristorante La Piazza via Poinz. From the first contact, furnishings/ambience, friendliness of the boss (and staff in general) to the excellently tasty and beautifully decorated food, it's a pure experience! We weren't the only ones who felt extremely comfortable here from the first minute - our dog even got water and a dog bed. The food (pasta, pizza, panacotta) was excellent and the portions were large. Unfortunately, today's world is often characterized by rip-offs and little service. What we experienced here was the complete opposite: warm hospitality, a comfortable ambience and a pure taste experience!! Great cinema - we'll be happy to come back soon! Grazie La Piazza team! Christmas Eve. 2022 My family and I, we were 8 people, had the most wonderful experience at La Piazza Friesenberg in Zürich. We decided for the first time ever to go out for dinner on Christmas Eve 2022 instead of celebrating at home, as we have always done. We all chose something from the a la carte menu card. All the meals were absolutely delicious commencing from the starter through to the deserts. The service was perfect from start to finish, even although the restaurant was fully booked. There was a duo playing fantastic background music. After the meal was finished, they started playing songs that warranted the guest to sing along to. It was an extremely memorable evening thanks to the wonderful food, music, festive atmosphere and last, but not least Paulo and his team of excellent staff.

We had a great evening. The food was exquisite: the pizzas were fluffy and authentically Italian, the steaks were buttery and the desserts were delicious. It wouldn't surprise me if the ice creams were homemade. The whole evening was rounded off by extremely friendly and welcoming staff. It was an experience. Thank you!

As soon as we entered La Piazza we were warmly welcomed and shown to our seats. The atmosphere was very pleasant, the ambience, the lighting, the furnishings, and of course the food, which was simply excellent. We had beef tartare as a starter, followed by Risotto Ai Frutti di Mare and Tagliatelle al Tartufo, which were simply perfect in terms of taste and portion. What I also have to mention is the welcome aperitif and a small starter provided on the house, very warm and above all appreciative, something that has long been forgotten in many restaurants these days. Accompanied with fine wine and then a very unusual and tasty tiramisu. At the end the espresso was served, again a very warm gesture. Conclusion: a very nice evening, with good food in a wonderful ambience, where hospitality and gastronomy are really loved and lived. The food was excellent, the service first class. I will definitely visit La Piazza again and of course I recommend this gem of a restaurant to everyone in every respect. Many thanks to Paolo and his team.

Solid and good Italian meals. The prices for an Italian restaurant in Zurich are, as usual, a little too expensive. Very nice and courteous service. The restaurant is in a modern building and unfortunately lacks a bit of charm.

Well and generously furnished pizzeria. Staff very friendly and attentive. We were registered as a group of over 10 people and were allowed to order individually. Everything came at the same time and was fine. Reorders for drinks were also carried out quickly. A good idea is the platter with various desserts on it. Although I practically don't eat sweets, I tried different pieces. Was very fine. Prices are within the limits of the city of Zurich. Easily accessible for people from the area. Otherwise you have to rely on the bus or car. The bus stop is nearby and there are parking spaces in the underground car park or in the neighborhood.

The food tasted very good and the fish was fresh. 4 stars are only given because the portion was a bit small. Even though we didn't have a reservation, we got a table straight away. The service was great and as the ambience suggests, it's also Italian. It's nice that when you go to the Italian restaurant, the Italian is there too :) I'd be happy to do it again.
