Absolutely 5-star! Super friendly services and super yummy crepes!

Delicious crepes!! They have a great and diverse menu of both sweet and savory crepes. The two dishes in the pictures: 1) spinach, tomato and cheese with egg, 2) ham, cheese, spinach with egg. OMG so delicious! The owner, Marcel, was kind enough to let me take his picture. This is a must-see when visiting Stein-am-Rhine. Will be back for the chocolate chocolate crepe with a scoop of vanilla soon!

The food is really excellent! There is enough choice for vegetarians. There isn't much choice on the menu for vegans. For me, one of the best crepes I've ever eaten. The service was ok. There is some room for improvement when it comes to friendliness. Nevertheless, I would definitely stop here again next time I visit the city for food.

Food and staff were great. But why don't you show off when you spontaneously go on vacation/take time off/just let it go... 07/26/2023 - The small restaurant is located on Understrasse and, when the weather is nice, offers a wonderful view of the beautiful city with its colorful house facades. The welcome is very friendly and the service is consistently impeccable. The menu offers many variations of sweet and savory crepes as well as a good drinks menu. The crepes (chocolate/curry pineapple/Stein am Rhein) were all very tasty and big enough! Payment in euros is possible, the prices are reasonable and getting there by car and bus from Gaienhofen is very easy. All in all, a worthwhile visit (despite cash only) to Switzerland.

Oh actually, it's so nice, but you could be friendlier to families and I've eaten the crepes better too...

Family owned restaurant with menu options in German, French & English. Friendly and hospitable, this place is a must visit! Crepe is freshly made to order, chewy in texture with very generous toppings. Suggest you select a seat outside and enjoy the day!

The crepes were ok - nothing special, just standard. However, the waiter, an older white gentleman in his mid-50s with a French accent, was incredibly unfriendly. Children are definitely not welcome. Makes families with children wait and treats them incredibly condescendingly. He also slammed the toilet door on my daughter's head without apologizing. The toilet looks and smells like an airplane at best. No way - we definitely won't come back here!

The salty crepes are made with normal Froment dough (wheat flour) and not the usual Sarazin dough (beech wheat flour) and therefore taste more like a kind of pizza with a different dough. A little too much cheese and also more like pizza cheese (mozzarella). But the service was friendly and it was easy to talk to the boss (also in French :)). During the conversation it became clear that the choice of dough was not due to a lack of knowledge but rather to the philosophy of the operator. All in all quite ok.
