A very nice restaurant. We got a place on the terrace right by the lake - and enjoyed our meal there. There is a lunch menu with starter and main course at a reasonable price. Very nice service and great view of the lake.

I only ordered an aperol but it was the best I've ever had! So refreshing and nice, and a good price considering how big the glass was. The service was quick and friendly too. I had a nice small conversation with the waiters. Unfortunately, I didn't taste the food here.

I know that a totally positive review raises doubts but, believe me, it fully deserves the five stars: I won't even stop to talk about the wonderful location on the lake but what deserves praise are the truly excellent and not at all scarce dishes. From the tartare to the gnocchi, through the grilled octopus to the fried anchovies, everything is truly excellent and prepared "as God commands." And all at average Swiss prices. To return again and again.

From the aperitif, with tasty appetizers to try, to the lunch with fried anchovies, various flavors of gnocchi, very tender grilled octopus or beef tartar, there were four of us and everyone was satisfied. All on an enchanting terrace overlooking the lake. Highly recommended, we will return as soon as possible.

The place is very beautiful, the view is suggestive and pleasant, the staff friendly and helpful, the service excellent. The products are of high quality, everything extremely good. I recommend it to anyone who wants to eat really well, without being disappointed.

A fiasco! The fish must have spent more time in the freezer than in the ocean. The meatballs contained more flour than beef and they had hair! The only good thing was the burrata... I strongly advise against it!!!

Very friendly restaurant staff - definitely tourist friendly. Amazing views from the restaurant sitting area - literally next to the lake. Food was equally good - we got the bruschetta for appetisers, mixed fried fish and cacio e pepe gnocchi for mains, and tiramisu and berry cheesecake for desserts. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

Great location...!!! Very bad-tempered staff. We weren't made aware that the kitchen normally closes at 7:30 p.m. We were finally supposed to place the order at 6:50 p.m. because the kitchen apparently closes at 7 p.m. Food was very bad. At 7:30 p.m. the restaurant was already preparing to close. 8 p.m. three people with stomach aches looking for a toilet. By the way, all three people have different menus. Except the shared fried cuttlefish. Oversalted with a taste of old, stale oil. I was assured that the oil would be changed every day...

It was only by chance that we chose this lovely little restaurant. The food later in the afternoon was excellent, despite the reduced menu. The wine we chose was excellent and its origin was enthusiastically explained to us by an exuberantly friendly boss. A visit to the toilet revealed a view of the cozy vaulted wine cellar. We left the beautifully situated terrace with a Nocino offered. Meraviglioso! Mille Grazie.

Unfortunately, the mixed salad was very boring and much too expensive; I could have just bought it in the Coop for 5.00 instead of 16.00. The presentation & variety could be better and not just lettuce, tomatoes and carrots. But the location is very nice.

A lovely evening with a great meal. Small, fine family-run restaurant with typical Italian dishes from Puglia. Very good, friendly service and good value for money. The chardonnay white wine from Puglia rounded the whole thing off really well 😃

We had dinner in this suggestive and elegant location, the most elegant in Morcote, but more than a dinner it was a journey, an experience. The two of us took two starters, two first courses and two second courses because we were so curious, from meat to fish, from pasta to gnocchi and we must say that the chef exceeded expectations, a meeting between flavors guided by excellent raw materials and experience of the chef who delighted our palates from appetizer to dessert. You can't describe it, you can only try it. A kind, helpful and prepared staff will help you will guide you if you are undecided between the delicious options on the menu. We therefore say a mandatory stop if you are visiting Morcote. I will definitely return.

Beautiful, leafy, terrace area, hanging out over the clear waters of Lake Lugano - with views across the water to neighbouring mountains. The perfect spot for an Aperol after a long walk from Monte San Salvatore!

Sublime terrace with a lovely view of the lake. The dishes were very good and quickly served. Very nice discovery with the rosso analcolici. The staff was very nice. For a restaurant with this view, the prices were fair, we paid 90.- for three dishes and three drinks.

Beautiful location and very friendly staff. I limit myself to three stars because presenting a Sicilian cannoli with that wafer is mortifying, I hope it was a mistake. Very good cacio e pepe.

Menu very small, fried fish from the lake tasted good but no side dish, gnocci with salmon little, watery and tasted bland, Spaghetti Alio olio with Coze extremely spicy, inedible, high price level, complaint went unheeded, restaurant is not recommended!!!!

Really a great restaurant! Right on the water with a view over the lake and the menu is very varied. Compared to many restaurants in the area, the prices are also very fair. La Terrazza sul Lago also has a great wine selection!

We had lunch on Sunday and had a good time; kind and very nice looking staff, beautiful and quiet location, clean place and attention to the correct sanitization of the tables. As for the courses, the two first courses we took were both very good and the desserts, even if not of their own production but of an external pastry shop, fresh and delicious. We didn't like the bread but since everything else was excellent (including the coffee) it definitely deserves top marks!

Gnocchi and salad both recommended. Service quick, friendly and helpful.

Super. Abbiamo pranzato in una terrazza coperta da un profumatissimo glicine bianco circondati dal blu del Lago. Servizio cordiale e attento. Ottime le tagliatelle con il ragú di agnello così come i ravioli di zucca con luganighetta e tartufo nero estivo. Ottima scelta anche di dolci. Ritorneremo sicuramente.

Posto veramente incantevole con terrazza direttamente al lago. Non tante proposte ma carta che cambia ogni giorno,questo ci ha convinto a ritornare per tutti i 5 giorni della nostra vacanza. Servizio familiare e caloroso,cibo fresco da provare assolutamente la frittura di pesce di lago ed i missoltini. Ritorneremo sicuramente.

Ci sono stato a novembre e siamo rimasti piacevolmente impressionati.Tartare di manzo con stracciatella e avocado come , trofie con pesto di pistacchi e ragú di pesce persico. Buona scelta di vini non solo del territorio Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Da ritornarci.Bravi.

Una piccola Osteria con una spettacolare terrazza naturale direttamente al lago,menù con poche portate ma di grande interesse e freschezza. La cucina di lago la fa da padrona ma con scelte di pesce di mare e vegetariane. Noi abbiamo optato per i missoltini ormai quasi introvabili,gnocchi di castagne con fonduta di parmigiano e luganighetta è un cacciucco di pescatrice, il tutto accompagnato da un rosato della zona. Lasciate un piccolo spazio per i dolci anch’essi di sicuro interesse. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

Ottima cena in una saletta con pochi posti. Cibo eccellente soprattutto le proposte di lago. Buona scelta di vini del territorio. Peccato che il tempo non ci ha permesso di cenare sulla loro terrazza. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.
