We came at the end of the afternoon to eat dessert (ice cream). The young waiter was really nice and the desserts were good and well presented. I have rarely seen such an efficient server! Following this beautiful appetizer, it made us want to come back another day to enjoy the evening meal! We came back yesterday (10/29/23) to taste the game and it was just exceptional. We all loved it.

The first time we come to this restaurant. We chose it for a birthday, the welcome was very warm and with a smile. The interior decor is just magnificent. Very quickly served and very friendly from the waiter and attentive to the different questions asked, we ordered starters, confit octopus and the presentation and tasting and a taste pleasure. The dishes all look tempting, supreme chicken, orange duck, trout, and perch fillets, a real feast and a pure visual and gustatory delight. Thank you for these delicious moments that we really enjoyed. And thank you for the attention and the little fireworks candle for the birthday. We will gladly come back.

It is always with pleasure that we come to the La Trinquette restaurant. The dishes offered are tempting and the service adequate. Plus the weather was on our side which didn't hurt anything. Enough to have a good time.

We wanted to have a drink with friends on the benches outside, no service or words. Not great! Our friends from the United States and France were very surprised!

We chose to go there without making a reservation for dinner since we tried to call more than twenty times between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. but without success! When we arrived it was of course full! The server's excuse: phone broken! But I wonder how other guests booked. The least you can do is leave a message on the answering machine if the staff doesn't want to answer!

Not very attentive nor very competent for allergies, meli melo of orders, cookies on ice cream despite the gluten-free precision…. In short, not the best and not very friendly but otherwise nice place. Ps di vegetable milk would be a plus Ps2 iced coffee (the drink would be great too) fashion all over this world

A non-existent service for such a small terrace. I came with family on a Sunday late afternoon, no one served us and so we left after 30 minutes. The calm and setting of the place mean that they do not need quality service to fill the restaurant. It is a shame to settle for it. Looking at the comments, this is not an isolated case. I wanted to show the place to my wife (having grown up in Bevaix) because we wanted to organize a spring dinner for our teams (22 people). You imagine that this is no longer possible. But once again, this will in no way impact these well-placed establishments. Being so negligent in the quality of service demonstrates the lack of professionalism of the boss. Business is business, after all, why not? We have great hotel schools in Switzerland, service is taught there and is an important added value for professionals in the sector.

One of the best restaurants I have been! Very friendly staff, good service. The dishes were decent, delicious and well decorated- beautiful and artistic dressing of all dishes, just gave you a surprise! We liked the homemade breads so much, when we left the staff gave us a lovely “takeaway breads pack”. She was so kind! 😊👍 unexpected perfect lunch experience! We will come again! Strongly recommend!

Very good food, quite expensive, but at least it's good. The service is good, but I still admit that I don't understand how we can spend 2 hours at the table arriving at 11:30 a.m....

Friendly staff and very pleasant service

My partner chose this restaurant for our 5th birthday, to begin with some difficulties with parking, the time between the starter and the main course was relatively long, we certainly did not have the same standing as the table behind us and therefore waited our glasses of wine. Place which is not suitable for very small notices to young parents forgot this restaurant. However, nothing to complain about regarding the meal and choice of wine, it was excellent.

Top-level cuisine, friendly waiters, just one small downside is the lack of communication between them, I was asked twice if my order was taken or what I wanted for dessert.

One of the best fillets de perches in Neuchâtel but the quantity is smaller than other restaurants. Cafe gourmand is recommended! Been here once every summer for 4 years. Always had a good food, nice service and friendly staff. Merci! 🙏

Nice setting but anything but friendly!! No menu card, just scan a QR code, and there you have your choice on your mobile, anything but practical, plus we ask for a bottle of Eye of Perdrix, they give us the most expensive one, i.e. 64.-, we ask for a salad , we are told coldly that it is too late, the perch nets have already been launched!! Desserts way too expensive. We won't go back there.

A welcome stopover in this establishment located in the lake port of Bevaix. Nice terrace, beautiful map, parking facilities, and walks along the lake and the vineyards.... Go to the "pointe du grain" just a short km away and bathe in this magnificent place, photos will follow.. ..

Didn't have the opportunity to try the restaurant, but I was able to have a drink comfortably seated.

Unfortunately the service wasn't very attentive, the drinks we ordered didn't come or came very late and there was only one dish for vegetarians but the risotto was great

Charming place, decent cuisine, but terrace very exposed to the wind and as soon as it gets a little cold, it is very difficult to stay there to eat without getting cold. We would have liked to be able to sit inside but as the entire restaurant was reserved (inside and outside) it was impossible! It would be good to only take reservations for either indoors or outdoors, which would allow you to adjust depending on the weather. But what disappointed us most was that the waiter recommended a wine (Pinot noir la Gavotte from the Domaine de Chambeau) for 108.- without giving us the price! As the card is only virtual, we didn't go to check the price, but it still stuck in our throats...

Everything was excellent. I would give 5 stars on the fries being homemade and if I hadn't had to wait a bit long for the bill. 4 and a half stars then...

Once again I leave the establishment after 20 minutes of waiting for a server to come and at least say hello or take a drink order. Last time it was 30 minutes. I understand that there is meal service, but we are systematically left to wait as long as possible before we deduce for ourselves that we have nothing to worry about with the people sitting on the terrace. It's been 4 times already 🤯
