Very pleasant fine dining experience. The service was especially amazing. The sommelier's recommendations were a perfect match to the food, I can only encourage you to follow his advice. To top it all, the view of the lake is gorgeous.

Beautiful address in Lugano, with a very pretty terrace, really friendly and attentive service! The menu was OK but not exceptional considering the price paid. (Ps: even if the view is very beautiful, be careful it is much less clear on the lake than in the photos found on the internet which rather describe the adjacent Michelin-starred restaurant, or the rest of the hotel)

Really lovely. Make a reservation to make sure you get a table close to the lake, but honestly any table would have a nice view. We only had a glass of wine, some foie gras, and a split dish of ravioli, because we wanted to eat in the old town as well - that was a mistake, this restaurant was much better than where we went in the old town. Wine and food were all exquisite, and the service was exceptional.

The price / performance is not right. The restaurant and the hotel should have a higher standard. Service: Friendly but slow, waited over 1 hour for food. Atmosphere: Top, view Top, this is by far the best. Food: The foiegras was excellent, highly recommended. The meat (chautaubriand) was a disaster. We ordered 2x, 1x medium and 1x medium rare. the meat came well done.... was a huge disappointment. moreover, it was served cold. overall we are disappointed We were 3 days in the hotel and had lunch and dinner at the restaurant.

Amazing fish dish! The service is super. The pasta is ok but can totally recommend the fish dish. Nice view especially for sunset time.

The La Veranda Restaurant, the main dining space of the Hotel Splendid in the center of Lugano, offers a vast terrace overlooking the lakefront and the lake itself. Awarded with awards, La Veranda offers a selected range of quality dishes, as well as a refined panorama and elegant service. It was a nice evening.

The food was very good, cooked well, but not memorable. What will be memorable will be the mediocre service in what should have been a top restaurant. The restaurant was either grossly understaffed or under trained. The table was neglected. We sat for almost 3 hours, having to request water from staff that was difficult to flag down. Whomever was managing the staff was not doing a good job. Water was clumsily poured into drinking glasses and onto the tablecloth. Utensils were knocked onto the floor by waitstaff, and not replaced. Food delivered to the wrong patrons, wine poured from across a 60 inch table. If the bill hadn't been over $700, it would have made for very amusing entertainment.

All the staff were very kind, starting from the doorman who directed us to the restaurant, up to those who served our food at the table. The view from the room is beautiful and the food is delicious. I would improve the coffee, but the rest was divine. A special thank you to Mr. Simone for the kindness with which he treated us.

Amazing restaurant in Lugano .. they have a white butter (homemade) it has a perfect and delicious taste. Saffron Risotto was a delicious dish and the fish. I recommend to try this restaurant 👌🏻

We tried the special QoQa menu, which can be modified to your liking, sometimes for an additional fee. The menu was delicious, from start to finish. Impeccable service, friendly staff, tasty food and tasty wines. All served on a splendid terrace overlooking Lake Lugano. Then breakfast the next day, served until 10:30 a.m., self-service buffet of choice, diced fresh fruit, incredible salmon, small pastries, joghurt, cheese, etc. A must-see restaurant in Lugano, I highly recommend it if you pass by!

An meinem Geburtstag haben wir das Rest. Veranda besucht. Das Essen war vorzüglich. Der Service zuvorkommend.

Durant notre séjour à l'hôtel splendide royal, la réceptionniste nous a vivement recommandé le restaurant de l'hôtel. Après avoir parcouru le menu et les avis sur TripAdvisor nous nous sommes décidés à manger à la Véranda pour célébrer l'anniversaire de Madame et quelle déception...Premièrement, il y avait une cérémonie dans la salle de repas. Par conséquent, nous avons mangé dans une salle nettement moins belle et agréable. De plus, il y avait constamment du bruit et du passage (serveurs + invités) qui traversaient la salle où nous mangeions pour se rendre à la fête ce qui était extrêmement désagréable.Deuxièmement, le service était indigne d'un restaurant "gastronomique" dans un hôtel de ce standing. Le jeune serveur qui parlait et comprenait à peine le français et l'anglais n'a présenté aucun des plats qui nous a été servi...Aussi et malheureusement, la qualité de la cuisine n'était pas au rendez-vous. La mie de pain de l'amuse bouche était sec, la lasagne végétarienne semblait tout droit sortie du micro-onde, la purée était trop liquide et la sauce aux morilles qui l'accompagnait n'avait pas de goût. Quant au désert, je l'ai trouvé trop chargé en rhum et celui-ci prenait tout le goût du Tiramisu. Mais encore, pour les mignardises, étant une des dernières tables, n'avons même pas eux de tartelettes alors que toutes les tables voisines en avaient. Nous avons eux droit uniquement à des biscuits (extrêmement secs) et deux truffes au chocolat... Néanmoins l'entrée de magret de fumé de canard à la pomme était très bonne.Finalement, cerise sur le gâteau, le personnel s'est trompé dans l'addition et nous avons dû la faire rectifier. En bref, c'était une très mauvaise expérience indigne d'un restaurant de ce standing. C'était bruyant avec énormément de passage, les plats n'ont même pas été présentés par le serveur et ils n'étaient pas raffinés. Nous aurions eu meilleur de temps de commander un repas dans la chambre d'hôtel qui elle était bienheureusement splendide !J'ai le sentiment que leurs efforts étaient centrés sur la fête de la salle qui était à côté ce qui a totalement gâché notre repas.

Une expérience gustative dans un cadre merveilleux accompagné d’un service impeccable. Il y a une très belle carte des vins qui laisse une belle place aux vins du Tessin. Nous avons tous adoré ce restaurant.

Wir haben 5 Nächte die Suite im 4. Stock (402 und 403) für 5 Nächte mit Frühstück für total 5500,- CHF gebucht. Da wir am Anreisetag müde waren, haben wir uns für das Abendessen im La Veransa entschieden, ohne vorherige Reservierung. Den freien Tisch am Fenster hat man uns nicht gegeben, da angeblich reserviert. Das war eine Lüge: niemand kam... Das macht mich , angelogen zu werden! Es herrschte geschäftiges Treiben der Kellner (Aktionismus). Der Gast wurde irgendwann mal gefragt. Ich habe mich für das Chef-Menü entschieden. Es war gut, aber nicht außergewöhnlich gut. Der persönliche letzte Pfiff fehlte (z. B. Limetten oder Zitronen zur Krake?). Kurzum, es ging so. Der Wolfsbarsch (Laktosefrei) für meine Frau kam ohne Spargel und Edelpilze wie für mich sondern mit Tomaten und Oliven... Olivenöl anstatt Butter wäre Ihre Erwartungshaltung gewesen. Naja, kurzum nur Durchschnitt.

The restaurant is inside a 5 star hotel Splendid Lugano. When we arrived by car, there was no available parking space. We waited a little bit and a car was about to go away and while we were about to take the spot, the hotel staff told us it's reserve for their guests. That means we were not and so we drove away to look for a parking space. It's around 7pm and it took us quite some time to find one and walked back. The hotel and the restaurant looked amazing, the service is top, while the quality of the food didn't feel right especially the hard and dry prosciutto crudo, strange zucchini taste and texture.

Wir waren Gäste im Hotel und haben an beiden Abenden im La Veranda das Dinner eingenommen. Die Qualität der Speisen war sehr gut. Speziell zu empfehlen ist das Risotto als Vorspeise. Die Bedienung war freundlich und professionell.

Unmittelbar über der Strasse gelegen, die am Seeufer entlang führt, ist das Veranda von der Lage her wohl nicht jedermanns Sache. Wir fanden es pittoresk. Mit seinen gestärkten Tischdecken, dem Servicepersonal im weissen Sacco und Fliege und seiner durch und durch klassischen fünf-Sterne-Aufmachung ist das Restaurant ein bisschen aus der Zeit gefallen. Selbstverständlich ist jeder Gang exquisit und natürlich verführt die sagenhafte Weinkarte dazu, viel mehr Geld auszugeben als geplant. Aber irgendwie gibts auch absolut null Überraschung. Irgendwie ist alles ein bisschen langweilig. Dass wir -- obwohl sich mindestens 6 Kellner um unseren Tisch bemühten - irgendwann selber Wein nachschenken mussten, war in diesem Setting wohl ein einmaliger Fauxpas.Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen. Damen dürfen sich in Garderobe stürzen und den edlen Schmuck zücken, Herren sollten das Hemd bügeln, das sie anziehen wollen ;-)

¡Tuvimos nuestra cena de cumpleaños aquí y fue absolutamente hermoso! El chef creó un menú de momentos especiales solo para nosotros y eso nos encantó. Desafortunadamente, no me sentí muy bien esa noche y, por lo tanto, tuve problemas para comer toda la comida. Espero que el chef lea esto porque me dio mucha pena dejar toda esta buena comida. Solo pude comer algunos bocados de los últimos 2 platos de 5.El ambiente de este restaurante es muy bonito, clásico y de alta gama. Teníamos una bonita mesa junto a la ventana. Todos fueron muy atentos y profesionales. Tenían una gran selección de vinos.Cada plato de nuestro menú especial fue absolutamente de ensueño y una simbiosis perfecta de varios sabores. Nuestro pastel de postre también estaba delicioso, pero era TAN grande. Esperábamos un pastel pequeño para 2 personas, en cambio vino esta enorme cosa que podría alimentar al menos a 10 personas :) pero nos pareció un gesto dulce y nos encantó de todos modos.En ese momento me sentí bastante mal por desgracia así que dejábamos que lo llevaran a la habitación para tenerlo más tarde.En general, este lugar fue excelente de la A a la Z. Sin duda volveremos.

L’hotel va distinto dal ristorante al suo interno.Il ristorante è davvero vetusto, non eccessivamente pulito, il servizio è melassoso mentre mostrare maggiore attenzione ai dettagli.Gli ampi tavoli rotondi, anche se coperti con buon tovagliame, sono in truciolare e talvolta malfermi alla prima pressione sui bordi. Buoni i servizi di bicchieri e posate.Il menù è ampio, esagerato per prezzi e per risultato delle portate proposte.La lista dei vini, proposta il edizione appositamente stampata, reca prezzi davvero spropositati (direi almeno 4 o 5 volte il prezzo corrente) nonostante il vantaggio IVA sui vini europei.Proprio non ci siamo.Risotto alla zucca, presentato con la zucca a tocchetti, neppure lo sforzo di trasformarla in crema, presentazione elementare.Verdure grigliate, presentazione pessima, quantità da entrée, insalata presentata senza condimenti e gli stessi (bottiglia di balsamico sporca e appiccicosa) saliera da bar a toast, olio, giunto solo dopo qualche minuto. Servizio 5stelle ? Este es posiblemente uno de los mejores restaurantes de Lugano. Me encantó el pescado. Lo cocinaron delante de ti. Es muy interesante cómo prepararon el pescado (incluso la mesa a nuestro lado se dio vuelta y miró) porque lo cubrieron con una tela blanca y apenas empujaron el pescado. Y los servidores del restaurante también preparan la pasta frente a tus ojos. Servidores muy profesionales, comida increíble.

Cenamos en La Veranda nuestra primera noche en el Hotel Splendide por conveniencia, pero nos dimos cuenta rápidamente de que la calidad de la comida y el servicio era excepcional. Los camareros eran amables pero profesionales, y la comida era tremenda.

Ottimo ristorante, non molto intuitivo da trovare, non è piano strada. Cibo di ottima qualità, atmosfera ideale per cene in coppia, buona scelta dei vini. Unica pecca appena ti siedi ti “offrono” un calice di champagne, che si trasforma in 25 chf a bicchiere. Tra l’altro probabilmente era già aperto da un po’ ed ho dovuto far notare al cameriere che lo champagne, senza bollicine, non va bene. L’ha però prontamente cambiato.

Me estaba quedando en el hotel con mi esposo y mis padres y todos comimos aquí nuestra primera noche en Lugano. Almorzamos tarde y los precios eran altos, así que todos pedimos un entrante. Tuve la chuleta de ternera que era mediocre en el mejor de los casos. No era crujiente y carecía de sabor. Mi padre tenía el pescado y parecía más feliz con eso. Mi marido tenía los crepes Suzette, que era de $ 30 pero vino con un gran espectáculo. El servicio fue bueno pero no fue más allá de los estándares. La vista y el lugar son agradables, pero no justifican los precios.

Das Essen und der Service waren hervorragend. Obwohl wir uns anfangs ein wenig Sorgen um die Straße darunter gemacht haben, hat es uns den Abend nicht verdorben, außerdem haben wir überhaupt keinen Verkehr gehört. Alles war großartig!

Dieser Ort ist ein besonderes Date Abendessen wert. Der Service ist fantastisch, ein exzellentes Team von Menschen, sehr professionell und respektvoll, sie wissen, wie sie ihre Gäste behandeln und Ihnen das Gefühl geben, etwas Besonderes zu sein. Das Essen ist auch ausgezeichnet, muss gehen, wenn Sie einen besonderen Tag haben oder auch nicht, für die Erfahrung, die Sie sollten und es ist erschwinglich.

Dies war ein Last-Minute-Speiseplan für meinen Mann und mich. Das Restaurant ist wunderschön und die Aussicht schön. Wenn Sie jedoch Seeblick bevorzugen, bietet Ihnen ein Ort mit einer höheren Lage mehr Landschaft. Netter Tischabstand und ich schätze den separaten Barsch für meinen Geldbeutel. Wenn Sie mehr als 3 Personen haben, erhalten Sie möglicherweise keinen Fenstertisch. Ich hätte mir mehr Anleitung bei der Weinauswahl gewünscht. Jemand hat angeboten, eine Weinkarte mitzubringen, diese ist jedoch nicht zustande gekommen. Deshalb mussten wir noch einmal nachfragen. Es war organisiert und riesig, zu groß für uns Anfänger, um uns selbst zu steuern. Die Portionen waren viel viel größer als erwartet. Lachsersatz für Thunfisch Tartar war sehr lecker und ausgewogen. Risotto wurde mit einer überwältigenden Portion leicht unterschätzt. Gemischte Meeresfrüchte waren gut oder schlecht, einige gut gegrillt und einige übertrieben. Das Dessert war ungewöhnlich (Fencheleis) und ziemlich gut, nur nicht nach meinem Geschmack. Insgesamt würde ich wiederkommen, ich habe keine Michelin-Erwartungen und habe eine schöne Lage, um ein gutes, aber nicht exzellentes Essen zu haben.

Wir haben unser Hochzeitsjubiläum dort gefeiert. Das Ambiente ist edel, die Aussicht auf den Luganersee schön. Dank der Isolationsfenster hört man auch den Verkehrslärm der vor dem Hause durchführenden Strasse wenig. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend, manchmal allerdings etwas zu aufdringlich.Das Essen war leider höchst durchschnittlich. Viel zu grosse Portionen auf dem Teller, das Zabayone war nicht luftig und bei der Vorspeise, Spargen mit Trüffel konnten wir keinen Trüffel finden. Das Ganze war nicht Gault Millau würdig.

Ambiente tranquillo, cordiale e raffinato. Menu di notevole livello, pur senza “forzature”. Personale competente, cordiale e sempre il grado di guidare l’ospite nella scelta delle portate. Non riesco a trovare un difetto a questo luogo. Se poi si va sui singoli piatti, dall’antipastondi asparagi fino a risotti, anatra, carne e mare, tutto risulta di grande livello, offrendo il piacere di una serata al top. I prezzi, pur adeguati al livello del luogo, non sono esagerati. E, comunque, si esce convinti di aver speso qualcosa meno del reale valore di una serata alla Veranda. Per questo, in tre giorni di soggiorno a Lugano, non ci siamo limitati ad una sola cena...complimenti davvero a chef, personale e responsabili de La Veranda!

This is truly five star dining! The service is impeccable. They just appear whenever you need something. But, they are never hovering. The food is amazing. Octopus appetizer was fantastic. Duck Pate was out of this world. I had the sole with champagne sauce for my main. It was amazing. My wife had the risotto. She loved it. My sister in law had veal Milanese. She said it was the best she ever had. Go to this place!! You won’t be disappointed.

La Veranda is a spectacular restaurant overlooking Lugano one of the most picturesque city in the world. The food is excellent and the service even better. For a special romantic evening you should not miss it.

Wir waren mit der Familie zum Abendessen im Restaurant. Kaum haben wir Platz genommen, kam der Kellner und brachte unseren Kindern Malstifte (neu) und ein Malbuch, somit waren die Kids schon beschäftigt. Die Menükarte lässt keinen Wunsch offen. Lokale Küche sowie italienische Küche ist in der Karte vorhanden. Wir haben uns eine Vorspeise und für einen Hauptgang vorerst entscheiden. Alles war vorzüglich angerichtet für das Auge...und auch der Geschmack hat uns sehr überzeugt. Für die Kinder konnte man über jede variante Pasta und natürlich der Hit Pommes mit Nuggets haben. Wir können das Restaurant mit sehr gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen!

Niché au sein du fabuleux hôtel Splendide Royal, le restaurant La Veranda est comme une bonbonnière. Magnifique décor avec en plus une vue superbe sur le lac de Lugano. Très bonne table: le chef ne travaille que des produits frais. Qualité, créativité et saveurs sont au rendez vous pour le plaisir des papilles! Le service est impeccable. Le maitre sommelier est EXCEPTIONNEL (meilleur sommelier de Suisse en 2014!) et sait communiquer sa passion du vin! Honnêtement je me suis régalée : travaillant moi même dans un domaine viticole, ce fut un grand moment que de découvrir grâce à lui des vins suisses étonnants! Bref, ce fut un déjeuner exceptionnel, de grande classe dans un restaurant magnifique et avec un service de très grande qualité. Bravo!

Wir versprachen uns so viel, wie in einem Hotel Splendide Royal und dem dazu gehörenden Restaurant La Veranda der gehobenen Preisklasse hätte erwartet werden dürfen. Der gemischte Salat für CHF 16.- bestand aus einem Häufchen Grünzeug, worauf noch ein Häufchen grob geschnittene Rüebli geworfen wurde. Liebloser serviert kommt in keiner Kantine ein Salat daher. Der eine Hauptgang bestand aus einem kleinen Rindsfilet, das von 4 Mini-Kartoffelküchlein begleitet war. CHF 46.-. Es geht mir hier nicht mal nur um die Menge, sondern wiederum um das fantasielose, lieblose Anrichten auf dem Teller. Kein Garnitürchen oder etwas Gemüse hatte den Teller etwas aufgewertet. Was sind denn das für Köche?? Eine Kugel Glace ohne Rahm für CHF 8.- kam ebenso nackt daher wie die Tasse Kaffee für CHF 7.- (!) die weder von ein paar Friandieses, nicht mal von einer Schoggihaselnuss begleitet war. Enttäuschend rundum, auch in Bezug auf den Service. Wir werden in Zukunft wieder - wie schon öfters - das Restaurant Principe Leopoldo in Lugano besuchen. Dort wird man vom Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nie enttäuscht.

We kicked off our anniversary trip with dinner here in the Hotel Splendide Royal. Our table could not have been more perfect! We had a spectacular view of Lake Lugano, with its picturesque reflection of lights across the lake. The service was personal and attentive but it was the food that we loved the most! The Lugano lake pike perch was so fresh and buttery and paired nicely with the rice pilaf. My husband really enjoyed his turbot. At home, it’s almost impossible to find these delicious fish and La Veranda prepared them perfectly! Paired with a white wine from Piedmont (that was not so memorable ) we still enjoyed the bottle! Although the portions were small, the dessert trolly was filled with tantalizing choices! The chocolate tart cake did not disappoint! Served with a final cup of coffee our anniversary dinner was perfect! Thanks so much to the entire staff for making it so special!

Davvero splendido! Ottima vista, locale curatissimo, cibi molto ben preparati! Raffinatezza e cura dei particolari rendono questo posto davvero unico! Prezzo coerente con l’ambiente!

Ristorante in posizione stupenda. Ottimo menu (che grazie alla disponibilità è stato anche preparato in versione senza glutine) di qualità e presentato in modo splendido. Rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo, porzioni corrette per un ristorante di questo standing. Possibilità di avere vini al bicchiere o in bottiglie da 375 ml (che non guasta per non eccedere). Bello il gesto di regalare una rosa alle signore a fine cena. Peccato invece per la presenza di una tavolata (4 persone) esuberante e che non ha capito che le coppiette volevano un po’ di tranquillità e romanticismo.

Siamo stati una domenica a mezzogiorno in questo ristorante per un pranzo in famiglia e devo dire che mi aspettavo molto di piu........personale gentile e posizione stupenda, ma le porzioni piccolissime quando è arrivato il mio primo pensavo fosse l'amuse bouche , che non ci hanno neanche offerto, il primo era buono pesce crudo, il secondo vitello con zucca praticamente cruda e anche questo mini porzione, prezzi alti dei piatti , come pure il prezzo dei vini specialmente quelli ticinesi:peccato! ultima critica l'ambiente era freddo e siamo venuti via coi piedi gelati

Die Bedienung ist sehr umsorgend. Die Portionen deckten nie den ganzen Teller. Ich hatte einen Risotto bestellt. Unter den Reiskörnern war eine grosse Menge Käse geschmolzen. Der risotto war eine Mischung aus Fondue und Risotto. Die Weinkarte bietet eine Auswahl unter vielen Gebieten.

Sono stata a cena con il mio fidanzato, menù degustazione con abbinamento vini. Posso dire che tra il cibo sopraffino, il personale più che competente e cordiale, l'atmosfera magica data dallo splendore del locale e dal meraviglioso pianista in sala, posso definire la serata tra le migliori della mia vita.

Das Abendmenü war vorzüglich. Sehr aufmerksamer und freundlicher Service. Wein kann je Gang nach Glas ausgewählt werden. Essen war vorzüglich und mit vielen Höhepunkten.

Dinner was wonderful. I had grilled shrimps as a first dish and lobster for a second. Everything was prepared to perfection. The staff was outstanding. I had a nice talk with the Maitre d'Hotel and the sommelier they made sure to avoid a couple of ingredients I am allergic to as well as to expertly pair my food and wine. The sommelier was really great. Highly recommended

It is a very beautiful restaurant in a high class hotel with excellent service and panoramic views on the lake. You should except 25-60 chf for a dish or 50+ for a business lunch. However, portions will be small and food is just good and is not at the same level with everything else.

We went to La Veranda to celebrate three birthdays: mine, my mother's and my daughter's. What a great night! The staff made us feel so special! Their level of service and attention was as if we were the only people in the restaurant (and we weren't). The wine list is more like a wine directory arranged by country and region. Lots of wonderful options!The Chef's passion for food was evident from the first appetizer, a small plate of sea bass, gazpacho and a fried zucchini flower.DELICIOUS!!!I had the Chef's Menu of the day which consisted of vegetable soufflé topped with shrimp, paccheri Sorrentina, filet of beef and a chocolate dessert. Everything was both beautiful in presentation and delicious!My mom had lamb and my daughter had duck. We wanted to just keep eating because everything was so good!My daughter had Crépes Suzette, expertly flambéed table side.All three of us agreed that our evening at La Veranda was one of the most unforgettable dining experiences of our lives!

Besser geht kaum - traumhaft leckeres Abendessen bei dem die lokale Küche im Vordergrund steht. Fantastische Weine aus Tessin veredelten das Essen. Glutenfree is not a problem - perfekter Service. Alle Träume werden hier verwirklicht! Sehr zu empfehlen ist das Risotto und das Kalbfleisch mit schwarzem Trüffel.

A wonderful restaurant in a lovely setting at the Splendide the food and service with tip top. All the wait staff were well trained and we were able to be un-rushed.

Nous avons mangé comme des rois. Tous les plats (6) super présentation et quel délice! Absolument génial et à recommander absolument. Pour l'anniversaire de mon conjoint, j'ai décidé de réserver ce restaurant.J'avais demandé une rose sur l'assiette de mon conjoint, ce désir a été réalisé.Nous avons vraiment très bien mangé dans ce restaurant.Accueil parfait, personnel aux petits soins pour vous. Habitués des Supers Toscan, nous avons trouvé le prix des vins un peu excessif pour Lugano.En revanche, le chef a su nous concocter un moelleux au chocolat qui était divin, sachant que ce dernier n'était pas sur la carte.À notre prochaine visite à Lugano, nous reviendrons avec plaisir dans cet établissement.Merci au chef ainsi qu'au personnel pour cette belle soirée.

Elegant dinner in amazing environment complemented by excellent service....everything you are looking for in a top notch dining experience. The French Onion Soup was some of the best in Switzerland. My entree was a large thin piece of Bread Veal Cutlet which I would highly recommend. Chocolate Cake which was like a thick fudge made a perfect ending to this delightful dinner.

Wunderschöne Aussicht auf den See (Sie sind niedriger, Sie bekommen Sie einige Bäume blockiert. ) . . . . . . . . . . Aber alles in allem schön. Service sehr, sehr gut. Das Essen ist gut. Ich hatte die Shrimps und Mann hatte das Lamm. Sie machen alles Brot, das im Restaurant und hatte die beste knackig Hollow Brotsticks je. Mann das Buffalo Tomaten Vorspeise. . . Käse war die Größe einer Baseball gefüttert und hätte eine große Familie!

Wir hatten das Menü am ersten Abend und a la carte zu essen. Sowohl am Abend das Essen war sehr lecker. Der Blick aus dem Fenster Sitze ist sehr schön, vor allem bei Einbruch der Dunkelheit über den See und die Lichter angehen. Der Service war wundervoll - man fühlte sich wirklich etwas Besonderes. Die Kurse waren reichlich und es gab keine Eile in keinem Punkt während der Mahlzeit - der erste Abend, an dem wir da waren 2 und anderthalb Stunden! Gegen - die Portionen sind klein, und obwohl das Essen ist ausgezeichnet, es ist teuer. Die Tatsache, dass wir waren zwei Mal allerdings sagt schon alles! !

Restaurant La Veranda ist schon recht angenehm überrascht. Ich erwartete das Standard High Level - aber langweilig - Restaurant und die Wahrheit ist, dass es war eindrucksvoll Gourmet Abend.ganze Abendessen wurde eine Forschung, von der Vorspeise bis zum Dessert. Vom main Courses in es beachtlich " Bodega " .freundschaftliche können es sich nicht entgehen lassen!

Wir haben dieses tolle Restaurant via Tripadvisor gefunden und an einem warmen Sonntag zum Geniesser-Lunch ausgewählt. Sowohl von den Speisen der Tageskarte, als auch vom bestens geschulten und freundlichen Personal waren wir vollends begeistert. Wer möglichst günstig essen möchte, ist hier fehl am Platz. Wer tolle Speisen, in einem freundlichen gehobenen Ambiente geniessen möchte und dabei bereit ist dafür zu bezahlen ist hier genau richtig. Sowohl Fisch, als auch Fleisch und Dessert und Käse, Weinauswahl: alles bestens und sehr zu empfehlen. Wir werden wieder kommen.

Wir kamen ohne eine Reservierung im Restaurant nach einer Fahrradtour. Wir waren nicht verkleidet, nur in Jeans und T-Shirt. Wir haben uns sofort willkommen geheißen und nachdem wir nicht wie die erste Tisch für uns organisierte eine neue direkt am Fenster mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht. Das ist nicht üblich in solch Restaurants.Der Service war großartig, freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit.Die Preise sind ziemlich in Ordnung für den Stil und das Niveau der Restaurant. Die Weinkarte ist lang und beeindruckend und auch gute Auswahl von kleinen Flaschen.Das Essen war sehr gut präsentiert und war ziemlich gut. denn dies ist ein Gourmet Restaurant es hätten wir etwas mehr push aber insgesamt immer noch großartig.Das Restaurant ist toll, für ein Candle Light Dinner und besonderen Abend.

Its philosophy puts together the traditional food of the south of Switzerland, Canton Ticino region, the traditional food of the southern Italian region Calabria. It is an amazing fusion of tastes, created with excellent ingredients. The best part is that you expect gourmet, but you absolutely don't expect this kind of mix. I was delighted by the pumpkin risotto with Rossano licorice and truly moved by the dessert "pane, zucchero e olio" (bread, sugar and oil), created bu the chef in honor of his grandmother, as a memory of his breakfast when he was a child.Selection of wine is managed by the great sommelier Simone Ragusa (best sommelier of Switzerland in 2014). Service is attentive and location beautiful, with a huge view on the lake. This is a magic and refined restaurant where the belle epoque still lives!

Siamo tornati al Veranda Restaurant la sera di San Valentino, ancor una volta non siamo rimasti delusi. Qualità eccellente luogo incantevole e soprattutto servizio impeccabile ci si sente veramente coccolati, certo il prezzo è elevato ma ne vale la pena, durante tutta la serata si è seguiti con discrezione e tutto il personate si impegna per offrirti il meglio e per rendere la serata indimenticabile.

Siamo stati la sera del 23 Dicembre posto magnifico servizio impeccabile e cibo veramente squisito. La competenza e la gentilezza del personale è notevole, la qualità e la presentazione dei piatti all'altezza di quello che ci si aspetta da un 5 stelle. Al veranda si siamo sentiti veramente coccolati. Certo il prezzo è un po' alto ma ne vale veramente la pena. Ci torneremo sicuramente

Just after I proposed to my girlfriend I wanted to treat us on a romantic dinner with exquisite dishes. Romantic and exquisite it was! Francesco and Salvatore made sure the evening had everything we could hope for. Very attentive service, star worthy dishes and a table decorated with roses and marsipan hearts.We had the Menu Gastronomico "Momenti d'Oro". A 5 course menu with the best ingredients, a perfect preperation and stunning combinations:- the scallops melted on the tongue- the lobster was perfectly accompanied by a slightly spicy sauce- the combination of veal, foie gras and port wine reduction always works for me ;-)- and the desert with chocolate, gold and an artistic "YES" was a joy for the eyeWe truly noticed that Francesco and his team made all the effort to make this a special, memorable, perfect evening for me and my fiancé. Bella la composizione su un piatto rettangolare, trittato a mano e condito piccante come piace a me, ho preso questo stuzzichino perchè non c'era il tempo per pranzo.Da consigliare!

Reizend Mahlzeiten sowohl zum Abendessen und Frühstück.Für das Abendessen, war überrascht mit Portionen aber am Ende war ich nicht hungrig.Hatten gefüllte Sole & Branzino. Beide gut zubereitet und präsentiert. Sehr angenehm Weinprobe. Für Vorspeise - hatten Zucchiniblüten gesättigt, und die anderen barrata w/Tomaten und Garnelen (beheizt).Ausreichend Platz für Desert - eine Wüste Tablett kam - wir hatten Obstkuchen & Tarameso. Cappuccino.Service smart, höflich und aufmerksam. Wein war Pino-grigio . Hatte begrenzte Auswahl an roten oder weißen.Atmosphäre ist entspannend!formell. Unser Abendessen war in unserem Pauschalangebot eingeschlossen, sodass wir bestellen könnte Tour was wir wollten aus dem Menü aus.Meine Vorspeise war Zucchini und Pilze. Für meine Hauptgericht ich bestellte Spanferkel, ein schön zart Stück Schweinefleisch Service zusammen mit klein geröstet Diced Potatoes Kartoffeln und Gemüse.Es war wirklich gut. Zum Nachtisch, ich bestellte Apfelstrudel und Schlagsahne erinnerten mich an unsere Wien Desserts als wir dort waren. Es war unglaublich!Ich kann dieses Hotel wärmstens empfehlen wenn man hier Restaurant.

Excellent and wonderful decor, piano music, very professional and friendly staff, good, although expensive, list of wines, rich and savoury food, though not surprising. A very nice experience for a luxurious hotel restaurant. And if you are lucky enough to get one of the window tables, what a view from lake lugano!

Ótima opção em Lugano!!! Pratos finos ou mais simples, mas todos muito bem preparados. Vista para o lago não tem preço!!! Preço é padrão Suíça, mas considerando o nível do restaurante é acessível.Atendimento de primeira qualidade... Recomendo a todos brasileiros que estiverem em Lugano.
