We stopped to rest our legs, have a drink and eat a little something. Service was so friendly and the St. Gallen beers and the focaccia with meat was so delicious! What a nice serendipitous find!

An unexpected gem in a lovely setting. We sat inside because of the rain in a charming little restaurant. The food was excellent - quite simple but with exquisite taste and flavours. A very memorable lunchtime.

You go to La Verità to arrive. Arrive in a wonderful restaurant in the “House of Truth”. This is located in the historic old town of St.Gallen, in the monastery district in the immediate vicinity of the cathedral and the world-famous monastery library. The restaurant is small and fine, with a lot of Italianità and is run with a large dose of hospitality. The menu is not huge, but appealing. We had a starter plate, which then “felt” like a main course. The ingredients were delicious, the bread was very tasty. We chose a vegetarian option, which was not listed on the menu. The rather small wine selection is also impressive because someone probably took the trouble to make a selection and didn't just put together a few wines at random. We'll be back, at the latest when it's warmer and you can enjoy the terrace.

Small, hidden bar. Very kind friendly staff. High quality antipasto cut fresh. They weren't serving dinner but kindly offered to put lasagna in the oven for these weary travelers on a busy Saturday night.

Very nice place. We made a quick stop here to refuel. Staff very friendly, outside decorated in an inviting way. Toilet very clean, right at the back (outside the restaurant). Coffee was delicious, cola unfortunately only Vivi-Cola. Not my taste, but that's my problem 😄
