Very cozy restaurant with plenty of space, competent and friendly service. Didn't have to wait long for the food (trout). Finally, there was the flambéed omelette (omelette flambée), which is a flambéed egg white bomb that is flambéed with various high-proof spirits. Both were very good.

Specialist in buttered trout with herbs. For dessert I recommend the unmissable omelette flambée with grand marnier. Excellent!!!! Very friendly service…. They skin the trout on request.

Great place on the banks of the Doubs, possibility of walking along the banks of the Doubs. The boss and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. We eat very well.

The service was excellent but the food beat it all..the trout came fresh onto the plate with a butter sauce with fresh parsely and a home made bouillon cooked for 5 houres and 23 ingredients..never had trout like that before..and Nicole and i bow to the super couple Daniela+Patrick who make this all possible. We walked out feeling great and my wife said 'Its all about hospitality and love for what they are doing'....

Délicieuses truites mais assiettes trop petites ! Très bonne sauce au beurre. Pour le deuxième service, le chauffe-plat était froid, alors forcément que la sauce était tiède, alors qu'on l'aurait préférée chaude. De plus, lors du deuxième service, pas de nouvelle assiette pour mettre les déchets.La patronne est sympathique mais un peu trop sèche.

Wir sind zufällig in diesem kleinen Lokal gelandet. Die Bedienung war sehr nett und hatte sich bemüht, uns auch auf deutsch zu antworten. Die Forellen waren sehr lecker. Unbedingt das Hausdessert, flambierte Omelette probieren.

Wir sind spontan in dieses Restaurant gegangen. Freundlich bekamen wir einen runden Tisch für uns alle (6 Personen) in genügendem Coronaabstand zugewiesen. Der Salat war frisch und die Forelle aux herbes sehr gut! Die Omelette flambée schmeckte wunderbar. Da das Restaurant am Mittag sehr gut besetzt war mussten wir uns gedulden, bis wir bezahlen konnten. Der Service war sehr freundlich. Wir haben uns Wohlgefühl.

Nous avons ete bien acceuillis, la salade manquait de sauce, l'assiette de jambon servie avec un tube de moutarde j'ai trouve assez deplorable. La truite etait petite mais bonne et tout ceci servis avec du pain. Nous pensons ne pas faire de la publicite pour votre restaurant.

At Ascension Days we stayed with our Camper at a free car park besides the river Doubs. Staff of the Verte-Herbe Restaurant was very friendly and allowing the stay. Logically, we tried their famous trout dishes the same evening. Excellent taste and preparation, cool garden adapted to Corona Measures, friendly and fast service. Only if you do not like fish, there are almost no other menus on the card.

schade, seit 35 Jahren für uns erste Adresse für Forellen.Nun, zu Corona-Zeiten werden wir zu acht an einen runden Tisch von 170 cm gezwängt! Abstand zum Nachbartisch Stuhllehne:4 oder 5 cm.Das ist Geldgier. Auf meine Frage wurde mir unfreundlich erklärt: es ist halt so.

Si vous n’avez pas envie d’une truite, n’y allez pas. Service très moyen (on doit répéter, oublie les PDF avec la truite, longue attente pour l’addition). En plus les autres plats sont passables (jambon sec et peu à manger).

Il nous semble que les truites se bonifient au fil du temps ! C’est toujours avec plaisir que nous nous régalons de la spécialité de ce charmant restaurant. Quant aux crêpes soufflées en dessert, elles sont d’une légèreté aérienne. Service agréable.

Am 30. Juni 2020 wollten wir im Restaurant La verte Herbe zu mittagessen. Um ca. 13.00h haben wir das Restaurant betreten. Zu dieser Zeit war das Lokal gut besetzt. Wir warteten ein Moment, damit uns ein Tisch zugewiesen wird. Das Personal war am servieren, eine Angestellte kam mit einem Stapel Teller daher. Da wir anscheinend im Weg standen, wurden wir mit einem unfreundliche "attention" auf die Seite gewiesen. Von einer Begrüssung keine Spur. Schliesslich setzen wir uns an einen 2er Tisch. Zwei Servierpersonen kreuzten unseren Tisch viele Male, aber wir wurden schlicht nicht wahrgenommen. Nach ca. 20 Minuten hatten wir genug und wir verliessen das Lokal unverricheter Dinge.Wir haben Verständnis, dass man bei hohem Arbeitsanfall eine Wartezeit in Kauf nehmen muss und nicht sofort bedient wird. Aber wir haben noch nie in einem Restaurant erlebt, dass man dermassen ignoriert wird und es innerhalb von 20 Minuten nicht einmal zu einer Begrüssung reicht!!Wir haben dann unsere Forelle im Restaurant les Deux-Clefs in St. Ursanne genossen, wo wir auch sehr freundlich bedient wurden.

Ich kann das nur bestätigen, was meine "Vorschreiber" auch erwähnt haben, einzigartig gekochte Forellen, gute Bedienung auch bei einem hohen Gästeansturm und wenn man etwas unbeholfen ist im Französich man kommt gut über die Runden.

Il faut parler de la délicatesse des présentations, des attriaux sublimes, du boudin et sa sauce merveilleuse, et j’en passe ... en aucun cas on ne regrette le cuisinier précédent. Cette Saint-Martin est de haut vol. Aucun faux pas : personnel stylé et compétent, les plats se suivent à un rythme agréable. Quant aux vins sélectionnés par Monsieur Quetglas, le talentueux sommelier, ils étaient délicieux et cela nous a permis de les découvrir car nous ne les connaissions pas. Et ce jeudi, nous avons bénéficié en plus d’une ambiance du tonnerre ! Nous conseillons aussi de venir en dehors de la Saint-Martin, car vous ne serez pas déçus.

Après une belle balade à l’étang de la Gruère, c’est toujours un plaisir immense que d’aller manger un peu de jambon, des truites magnifiques et une omelette norvégienne flambée au Grand Marnier. Le poisson est vraiment d’une finesse incroyable.Le personnel est vraiment gentil et une fois nous avons même eu le plaisir de visiter la cuisine et voir le vivier.Le restaurant est spacieux avec une belle véranda et une grande terrasse très agréable par beau temps.Vivement recommandé.

The specialty is trout, the place is known for that. The merit is not usurped because it is truly excellent. However, surprise that the trout was served alone, not understanding that the pdt are extra. The lady asked us if we would like a salad which we accepted. We have been visiting the Verte-Herbe restaurant 4 to 8 times a year for 20 years. What inspires us are the consistent, excellent blue trout and a solid, dry Neuchâtel white wine. Formerly under the leadership of Mr. Aemisegger and today Ms. and Mr. Ospel guarantee consistent, good quality. We can highly recommend Verte-Herbes.

Eigentlich gibt es Forelle oder Forelle !Spitze, man kann wärend dem ersten Gang entscheiden ob man einen Upgrade zum zweiten Gang mag oder nicht.Der Fisch ist auf den Punkt gegart! Hatte noch nie eine Fisch der so einfach zu "sezieren" ist.Der Fisch wird einfach mit Butter und Kräutern gekocht schmeckt spitze.Bedienung ist freundlich.Wir waren an einem Abend an welchem wenig Leute dort waren, kann mir vorstellen das in der Sasion das Lokal drinne wie draussen voll ist.

Gaumois wonderful for walking along the Doubs. My suggestion for myself: trout in soubey, omelette in goumois and a walk there too. Why not take another bath in the doubs?

Wir kamen erstmals mit unseren Eltern hierher, jetzt 50 Jahre später kommen wir immer noch und es ist immer noch schlicht gut. Ein kleiner gemischter Salat und eine Forelle, dazu einen Chasselas, einfach lecker. Auf die ausgezeichnete norwegische Omelette verzichten wir inzwischen.

Sur un chemin carrossable le long du Doubs, (balade à pied agréable) la Verte Herbe nous accueillis dans une ambiance quasi familiale. Jolie terrasse abritée, service rapide et sympathique. Les truites (d'élevage local) sont excellentes et accompagnées d’un beurre noisette à la ciboulette (qu’on sauce avec le pain jusqu’au bout!) Possibilité d’autres plats.Dessert original : l’omelette flambée (flambée en cuisine si on commande en terrasse) Adresse à recommander !

It must be said straight away that their trout is excellent. If you only go there for that, I would easily give it 4-5 stars. On the other hand, the rest is unfortunately not up to par.

Une truite sauvage de rivière ,du Doubs par exemple ,mais non un poisson fade de pisciculture même pas digne d'un étalage de grande surface ,beurre fondu standard et ......Une pomme de terre a l'eau ! Pas 2 !! Service correct sans plus et carafe d'eau à 2 Euros !! Pas mal non ! Un monde fou tout de même pour manger ce plat unique moyennant 20 euros tout de même .Un conseil ,chez votre poissonnier achetez une belle truite saumonée ou de mer cuite en 2 temps 3 mouvements et vous vous régalerez autrement

Wir waren wieder mal zu Besuch im La Verte-Herbe. Zwar nur für ein kleines Dessert, aber es war genial.Sehr netter und sympathischer Empfang obschon wir sehr spät kamen und das Restaurant komplett besetzt war. Wir bestellten die Spezialität „Omelette au rum“ für zwei. Dieses Dessert sollte man nicht verpassen. Rasch wurde es serviert und ebenso rasch wurde es verputz. Wir kommen sicher wieder mal und geniessen dann auch ein komplettes Menü.

Toujours le top, la truite est tendre et savoureuse et le beurre fondu vous fait oublier toutes vos bonnes résolutions! Les nouveaux tenanciers et le personnel sont super sympa dans un cadre bucolique, tout ce qu’il faut pour un bon resto en famille. Réservation conseillée.

Waren vor 2 Tagen im La Verte Herbe und es war so wie beschrieben! So eine gute blaue Forelle ist die Fahrt wert. Viele Einheimische, kleine Auswahl aber dafür umso frischer. Bedienung sehr nett und nach dem Essen begrüsste Chef alle Gäste persönlich.Hoffe bald wieder einmal gehen zu können.

Un petit coup de fil tôt dans la matinée pour réserver et hop....en route! Apres un joli périple dans de magnifiques contrées et une non moins jolie promenade apéritive le long du Doubs nous nous mettons à table...quel bonheur! Une petite salade mêlée pour débuter et un très aromatique Pinot gris du lac de Bienne nous ouvrent l'appétit. Et ensuite comme promis et comme prévu deux truites accompagnées de beurre et fines herbes, la spécialité de la maison. Un régal! Les morceaux de pain et ce beurre ..!Et pour digérer le tout un sorbet pruneau et Damassine....quel plaisir!

Nice place, varied menu. Missing a few smiles from the staff. The trout is excellent but at the price and size of the trout we would have liked to have had some potatoes with it, without having to pay extra. Otherwise, I would be happy to return.
