We were looking for a location to watch the Six Nations Rugby. We hadn't booked and the staff helped us out with a table. Good screens. Not so good Guinness...but that may be a bit of an ask in Geneva. Drinks service at the table was good. Also near a main tram route back to Cornavin. Would recommend for International and UK sports view (e.g. football was also on).

Best Pub in town, the drafts selection is great, food is good and the servers are the hottest in town. Hard not to fall in love.

Great atmosphere to watch sports (football, rugby) and enjoy oneself. There is good music and the staff is really friendly and attentive. There is a great selection of British traditional food. I particularly enjoy the pub quizzes and I strongly recommend the chicken tikka wrap!

This is a v decent sized pub, with sport, generally friendly service… and bad food. I paid about CHF25 for what was described as a three person sharing platter of pub grub… because I thought it would be fine for watching sport - we weren’t exactly looking for fine dining. The photo doesn’t quite convey how miserable this portion was. I don’t understand why they don’t just do good, decent sized portions of bar snacks!? Surely they’d make a tonne of money…!? Safe to say, until that happens, and despite the friendly service, I’ll be thinking twice before coming back for any length of time…

We host get together drinks with our colleagues and we enjoyed the easy service from booking through the evening. Amazing place with great service

Fish and chips that are impossible to eat with your fingers. Everything was frozen. The small weight fish and chips. All with an arrangement of vegetables that even low-end kebabs cannot afford in Europe. To have worked in Geneva for 25 years, you either launder money or you are the worst fish and chip shop in Europe. But at 28chf the fish and chips full frozen and unbearable for a non-British common gold w.... 34chf starter main course dessert in a Michelin-starred restaurant in Geneva at lunchtime..given your prices it's been 10 years since this should have flowed. The evening where I ate 3 customers in the evening.vz the number of people in Switzerland who following the.comments and seeing their posts this.must be closed without three days.

Food was ok for British pub food. Have had better in the UK but it's not bad. Service was quite good.

Pub with a very good atmosphere, ideal for watching a match with friends. On the other hand, the food is very average, industrial and expensive! The fish & chips were bland and not cooked...

Very good if you want to watch football otherwise you will get tired of the TVs

Bar that has a certain luxury. Quite comfortable, with a few sofas. We can even feel at home. He. there is enough space. You can go to the outdoor terrace towards the roadway. For my experience, what I don't like is the front door which remains wide open and that's why people smoke on the terrace and the smoke enters the bar. I felt like people were smoking next to me. Lamentable, no respect for those who do not want contact with cigarettes. I stopped going to the terrace precisely for that.

A perfect pub to watch rugby and football matches.

Not their fault, but I'm British and they are doing their best. They do show the rugby though.

Football atmosphere for Rangers – Servette.

Just went there to work on free wifi fir an hour, but loved their beer selections. 1st Guinness in years, was excellent.

Awesome Pub, went there a couple of times while we where there on a work holiday. Great service, and great selection of drink. Also the food is very good. Cant recommend it enough. Lovely place.

Just a drink in passing but it makes you want to come back. I guess you have to speak the language of Shakespeare, but that's a guarantee of a good evening, we'll see that.

The burgers are very good. Went there during a football game and got a seat right next to the screen. But we said that we weren't football fans and just wanted something to eat. We were in the middle of the action and couldn't have a conversation because it was so loud.

Good attention. An authentic place. Agility in service and quality in food. The high spicy ones are recommended. Quite a variety of beers.

Awesome pub with the warmest hosts. Food is great. A lovely place for UniMail goers. I used to visit this place quite often with my friends from university after long hours of classes, and still visit it for watching matches (cricket too).

One of the best pub of Geneva, very good spot to watch sport. Food is classic and quite good. Good choice of beer and others drinks. In a word exactly what you expect for a Pub.

The best way to watch English matches

We had lunch at this establishment and to say that we left disappointed (or even a little angry) is an understatement. To be very honest, the poor quality of the cuisine was matched only by the odious character of our waitress. The mozzarella sticks had no taste, the chicken wings were not cooked enough and were bathed in what was intended to be a bbq sauce but was more like cold syrup. The meat on the burgers was almost raw, some of our toppings were missing and the fries were cold and undercooked. Finally, our waitress was terribly unpleasant and addressed all these customers in a haughty tone and at the end of the day practically shouted at us. This is regrettable because service is a beautiful profession of welcoming and sharing and this person should hurry to choose another professional direction. Needless to say, we will not be returning.

Shared a bar platter with the wife then watched the World Cup final here. Staff are fantastic, atmosphere was great, drinks are rather pricey (18 franc cocktails!). Lots of TVs for sports. Small mixup with the bill at the end, but understandable as place was rammed. Will come again.

Great food, and amazing ambience! Best English pub in Geneva right at the center of legendary Plainpalais! In addition, the owner puts security in the bar before business as he makes sure to avoid an over crowded place. Super important as he makes sure to guarantee that the place has a great ambience with enough space for everyone!

I came for a football match, a superb atmosphere, good-natured, super friendly. However, we decided to continue the evening at the bar. We ordered 3 burgers and 3 non-alcoholic drinks, total 83 CHF...the order arrived in the snack account, and a burger was forgotten. No excuses and no commercial gesture, everything to put you in a good mood. The quality of the burger is good but is seriously lacking in sauce, for the price... sauce wouldn't be too much.

The boss is anything but professional, does not tolerate being told that his email is anything but commercial. Annoyed, he canceled our reservation, like a child who has been remarked upon. Sensitive like a diva, 0 questions. Plus the food is really mediocre, and since covid they have slackened on the prices. Fortunately the (young) service raises the level a little with their sympathy. Remarkable with such a “boss”. In short, long live the Pickwick Rue de Lausanne!

It has changed badly, very long service even though the bar was really not full, high price, staff not really friendly which perhaps explains the fact that it is not full on a Friday at 11 p.m.

Good place for English breakfast and guiness. There was steak and kidney pie. Great atmosphere if you want to watch sports with its multiple screens.

It's a good local pub. Please though could you do proper thick cut chips. Went today and to they looked and tasted like oven chips :-( Service and drinks were good.

Fantastic beer selection an good pub food. Plenty TV's to choose from for your sports. Got a problem with the covid bouncer though. Not going to show id to a stranger to get into my local.

Always a good place to meet up or watch some football. Staff speaks English and French and the atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant.

Very nice breakfast here at Lady Godiva from an Anglophone. Service by the Norwegian waitress Camilla was excellent. She was very kind and patient. Highly recommend this place!

A splendid establishment run by a splendid fellow. Lively, friendly, excellent food. A marvelous place to spend a Saturday night watching football or a Sunday watching Formula 1. Highly recommended.

Catastrophic food. The tapas were ridiculous. The burgers had to be sent back 3 times and all that for a disappointing result. Only the waitresses with their kindness can raise the level. It was better before !!!!

A lot of waiting, a not very friendly boss, when the waiter makes a mistake and we point it out to him we are entitled to a reflection that we save 30 cents... (Still happy since the error does not come from us.. . )

Saw a football match in this pub. You are asked for a credit or identity card as guarantee, something never seen before. Burger not really good. Not pleasant boss, young and inexperienced service

This is your standard English pub! Exactly what you can expect :) burgers and fish’n’chips on the menu, huge selection of beer, good sports on the tv screens and friendly staff. I had the godiva burger and it was ok! Fries were less good, but they were included.
