Lai Alv in Disentis/Mustér

The fries were so salty that you almost couldn't eat them without a drink. But these cost a small fortune and unfortunately there is no drinking water in the toilet. This forces you to buy an overpriced drink. A pity

The fries are disrespectfully seasoned, making the food almost inedible. Since the food is so heavily salted, it would be almost unbearable not to drink anything after eating it, but unfortunately the tap water in the toilet is not drinking water, which is why you are forced to pay the ungodly price of 10.00 for a liter of water.

What a hash brown! They say that Pascal (host at Lai Alv) is a jack of all trades - he and his team ensure perfectly functioning self-service with various mountain menus (rösti, Älplermakaronen, Schüblig,...) and sophisticated paprika fries and a clean one , cozy hut. God for the great view. Ask for deck chairs and a cappucino and the day is good.

It was very windy that day and therefore not all ski lifts were running. But I still liked it.

When the weather is good, the view is amazing. The selection of food is sufficient to fortify yourself for the next day of skiing. Unfortunately the hot drinks are prepackaged. I chose a Rösti with Bündnerfleisch. The portion is generous, the Rösti could be better seasoned and the price is standard for Swiss ski resorts. The staff was very accommodating. Overall, the best hut for your lunch break in this ski area.

Great Rösti with a wonderful view

Simply great, cool people, perfect views and simply delicious food with local specialties, among other things. And the best thing: The chef (greetings to Pascal) is a true Graubünden local and a cool guy who knows what the guests want!

Friendly staff. Location perfect & cozy. However, the prices are clearly too high for what is on offer. Ready rösti with way too much cheese for 22.- A watery soup for 10.- is also too expensive.

Good, simple and inexpensive cuisine. An ideal rest stop for a break during a day of skiing.

Fantastic view on the terrace! Particularly recommended after extensive skiing: Graubünden barley soup. You can also pay here with credit cards, contactless of course.

Tastiest fries ever, hash browns etc. great view, a popular restaurant, so quite full. We always enjoyed being there.

Unfortunately, not always with passion. Vestehe if it doesn't always work in high season, but if you queue for 30 minutes and get old fries. Well...

The view from the terrace is just stunning and it always is worth stopping by. The restaurant is self service and the food is freshly prepared and tastes great.

Soup for 10 CHF is way too expensive. Waiting times too long, maybe a ticket/issuing system would be something? Or prepare more hash browns etc. at peak times so that things go faster? Plus the food was just okay. Location is great.

No bratwurst, extremely expensive for the quality.

Price-performance at a very low level. Actually, it's almost cheeky what's on offer here. In the picture the finished Rösti, but also the other, equally small portion "Bündner Style", the Raclette cheese barely melted, the Älplermagronen also from the can. I can let this all go and not visit again in the future if at least the price is right. Cooking fresh would be a bit more complicated, but would justify the high prices. As it currently stands, we will definitely avoid it.

Super nice staff and good food at fair prices

Mountain restaurant right at the upper station of the chairlift with a large sun terrace and a fantastic view, to enjoy without the hustle and bustle that you know from other places. Self-service, very nice and helpful staff, reasonable prices. The smoked bacon from the area is recommended as a snack plate.

It's just nice that the costs are high, especially those of drinks: if you want a 0.5 liter bottle then it costs 5 francs even if it's water
