Very friendly, small, beautifully decorated Thai restaurant, extremely friendly service, lovingly prepared, large portions, but above all really well cooked - and also inexpensive. In addition, you can sit here with friends for a few hours, as it is not loud and crowded, but rather has a relaxed, pleasant atmosphere - that's why I like to go here for a business lunch or dinner with friends , which I haven't seen in a long time. Pad Thai is certainly one of the top three in the city and the menu is extensive enough that Thai connoisseurs will get their money's worth as well as people who prefer a "tourist classic". You can also express your wishes to the chef. The starters are also strikingly good (e.g. the beef salad, the outstanding chicken skewers or the fried, chopped prawns) and, for dessert, the beautifully presented mojis with fruit. The lunch menus are also extremely inexpensive. The espresso from the real portafilter machine is also amazing; you wouldn't expect this quality in a Thai restaurant

Very good food cozy atmosphere.

We visited Lai Siam, primarily for a beer. After a while we needed a floor and ate here too. It was a revelation, everything was perfect, very good in taste, good price and an attractive amount on the plate. If you eat here, they do everything right. Thanks

New shop from experienced thai restaurant owner. The mixed appetizers were tasty, with various kinds - satay, fried wonton, etc. The service is done partly by the owner herself, totally friendly. There are around 7-10 tables indoor. You can book in advance as well. The parking is behind the building. The menu has enough main dishes variety. I'd recommend to try. The location is superb as well, just in front of milchbuck tram station. Recommend to try 👍

Great place! Very nicely and lovingly furnished. The staff is very nice and there is a good atmosphere. In my opinion the food was terrific and authentic. In addition, the plates were beautifully presented. I will gladly come again!

The service is very friendly and the food is delicious. I can't give it 5 stars because it was a little salty, but the flavor is wonderful. Desserts good and well presented. Highly recommended! It's the third time I've come and every time it's perfect.

I was here at lunchtime and had a green curry with pork for lunch. Unfortunately it wasn't very spicy but the curry was excellent and I really enjoyed it. I ate outside because the tables on the street aren't particularly nice but they're ok. The service was good and friendly.

We only went for starters and a beer. I had spring rolls and my friend had fried Wanton, which I also tried. Both picks for sure were worth it. The main dishes sounded very good also and I can't imagine that it wouldn't be good.

Colorful and tasty Thai restaurant. I was here for dinner and enjoyed the salad with shrimps and Jungle Thai curry with beef. Both dishes were good, although a little bit more quantity would have been nice for the price, which is fair, but slightly above what I had in mind. Service was very friendly. The place is quite unique, in bright pink and full of Thai décor. There are a few seats and many were available on a weekday night. Good for couples or going with a small group of friends.

Very pleasantly surprised when I went there for dinner for the first time. Not so easy to find via Google Maps, but it's worth it! Very friendly service and the food was really tasty and sufficient for good eaters. All of this at really reasonable prices. Everything also seems very clean. I'll definitely come back.

Should actually remain an insider tip...but whatever. The Lai Siam impresses with its fresh and extremely exquisite cuisine!! The service is very warm, a place where you immediately feel at home. Ps.: the online menu doesn't list any tofu dishes. Don't worry, tofu aficionados will also get their money's worth. You can also have the dishes with tofu. Enjoy it!!

If you enjoy being duped, this is your place. While the food was quite ok, and the service nice, they have no clue how to deal with mishaps. I ordered the green curry, because the menu said it contains the small Thai eggplants that I like - but it came without those. When I pointed it out to the lady, she said « oh, didn’t he have any? », and then kept blaming the chef for not telling her, while apologizing to me. When she brought the check, she said she took off the rice as compensation, but the rice (a whopping 2fr out of a total of 51fr) was on it, which she seemed fully aware of when I then pointed it out, laughing and apologizing. I left without the 2fr she offered to refund….

Authentic little please with convenient parking right up front. Appetizers where great but the some of the main dish were not amazing. Service was great but it did take a hot min for the food to arrive. Pictures on the menu was helpful but for English speaking folks it was not really enough.

I'm Thai and can guarantee that the food here is authentic and tastes great. I always enjoy coming back. The young waitress who always served us is super friendly. However, in September a new older waitress was working in service. We were very dissatisfied with the way she served us. When ordering the menus, I was asked several times whether we as customers were sure we could eat the dishes, as some of my companions were not Thai. The rice was forgotten during the main course. However, one rice was overcharged on the bill. Unprofessional and bad work. We would be happy to come by again when the young waitress is back.

Unpleasantly located restaurant on the main street. Interior decoration takes some getting used to. The staff was super friendly and helpful. You can also order the meal with tofu. It was OK. Big portions but not very imaginative. The price for take away was also very high at 28 francs/menu.

A revelation to the power of 10! Manuela & Mode are a dream team I very rarely eat duck but this one from Mod is breathtakingly good and crispy... a place for the senses even if it is very bright in here... Manuela doesn't know how good she is... but One thing I can say is if in Zurich Tai then here! COME MY FRIENDS GO THERE! Yes, storming the place is very worth it... ...after this you won't want anything else...
