The cigar lounge is super nice and the view is amazing. The service was first class and the cheese platter is also highly recommended. The selection of cigars is very varied. Definitely worth a visit! What I liked most, is that the coffee was served in a BODUM French Press. They know how to serve good and tasty coffee. 👏🏻

Most delicious Wagyu burger in escort of french fries and onion rings! Don’t skip the included sauce (forgot the naming), which was relabeled by us as: Deliciousity enhancer! We were lucky with a table close to the windows and the panoramic view. The sunset was stunning and interrupted our discussion, but in a lovely way! There ist a terrace and many picture worth spots around. Some say, it is the ideal spot for a proposal. However, I recommend the burger, the window front and a sunset for a gathering with partner and friends!

The three of us were at the Lakeview Lounge yesterday. Only in the afternoon did we go to the café. There was a Nidwalden platter with cheese and meat products from the region. Later we went to the Verbena Restaurant. Where we received excellent service. The food is a pleasure at the highest level! Bravo 👏. Later we went back to the Lakeview Lounge to end the evening. Great cocktails, very friendly and attentive service. It was a great day . We will plan another day!

The two of us (me and my daughter) were more than thrilled! Great atmosphere, attentive service, wonderful and fine afternoon tea etagère, crowned by an almost magnificent view (unfortunately it only snowed partially) A feel-good place that takes you away from everyday life in no time, we loved it. We'll be back in the summer.

Excellent service and atmosphere.

Visited the lounge with a group of 6 people. Easy wayfinding with signage on arrival, as well as along the corridors in the hotel itself. We were welcomed directly and escorted to the appropriate place. Were given a map and recommendation for wine. The whisk(e)y menu was convincing, as were the other offers, possibly offering everything that makes sense in terms of spirits. The wine list was also well put together, as was a humidor with a wide selection. Drinks came quickly (note, not many guests ordered at the same time) and we were regularly asked within a reasonable time if everything was OK. Gin and tonic did not seem adulterated. Can not speak for food, as we had none, well except delicious nuts. Lounge was well ventilated, clothes smelled very little of smoke. The request for the bill was quickly implemented. All in all, a top-class experience that the Bürgenstock deserves. We will be back again. Cheers

We come quite often here and absolutely love the view, food and drinks. Firstly we experienced arrogant service, but lately it became better. Last time a waitress Gabriella was very nice to us, it would be great if a place has more people like her. Highly recommend to try Blue mountain coffee 🤩

Its a really beautiful and cozy hotel bar. The view from the lounge is absolutely stunning and worth it, to at least have a coffee there. Also the ambiente in the evening is pleasant. The drinks are very well prepared and also the food is very good. I reccommend the Wagyuburger, but they have so much more to offer!

A feel-good place that takes you away from everyday life in no time, I love the afternoon tea atmosphere with all the scones, sandwiches and the great patisserie... extremely nice and considerate service staff, the only suggestion for improvement would be the content of the different types of tea on the menu to read so that women don't always have to ask the service staff ☺️

favorite place for an afternoon tea! the location is breathtaking and the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. getting there - would strognly recommend to take the boat and cable car (instead of car/ bus) - because the trip itself is incredible. and if you have some additional free time - you can also go hiking and exploring once you are up at the resort. great place to spend a birthday, special occasion or just a sunday afternoon

Beautiful view of Lake Lucerne. We celebrated a birthday with coffee and cake on Saturday afternoon. Everything went wonderfully with the birthday cake we ordered in advance. Thanks! A reservation is definitely recommended, the bar is usually busy. Nevertheless, it is pleasantly quiet. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Special requests are also fulfilled. The dress code is not really observed, you can see everything here. That didn't bother us. But it's definitely good to know for your next visit that shorts and sneakers aren't a problem either. The only downside: There is no terrace and the indoor temperature was on the cool side. Otherwise everything is wonderful.

Try to book on advance for a table by the window as the view worth half the visit ,, You can have a drink, lunch, dinner & snake depending on the service time for each menu..

Lovely Christmas tea at Burgenstock! The service was gracious, genteel and sweet. They really make you feel like royalty! The surprise of the meal for me was the oyster amuse bouche with hollandaise that was perfection 👌🏼 Sadly it was cloudy so I didn’t get the view but was still a great time! I was surprised that the entire desserts were edible including Santa’s belt! The ginger loaf with chocolate edges was a surprise too! And can’t beat the journey to get there, water and rail! Got a post tea treat when the mountains peeped out from behind the clouds! Would love to return on a clear day!

I surprised my sister for her birthday an afternoon tea , we really enjoyed it and the service was so friendly, the reception very helpful with booking and giving me directions and boat timetables etc. We wil be back🤗

There were 10 of us who came with a prior reservation and the service didn't pay any attention to us for the first 10 minutes, completely ignoring us. You felt like you didn't even care that we were there. Only after I got up and spoke to the manager of the room did they take pity and come to take the orders, but again ignored 2 guests so we had to stop someone again to fully place the order. The 3 stars are only thanks to the great view and the well-prepared drinks.

A perfect place to show Switzerland from it's best side. We always bring our foreign visitors here to show off the spectacular views, the typical scenes of the cows grazing in the meadows with the chimes of their bells. Add to that the boat ride and cable car journey from Lucerne together with one of the best afternoon teas offered anywhere and the friendly, courteous, excellent staff a perfect time is guaranteed!

I had a good experience in the end however I had to remove a star because the booking system was frustrating. We showed up for a coffee, it was not busy at all, maybe 3-4 tables taken, and we were told that it is pre bookings only so they had no space available and we were directed to another hotel. Fair enough, so we decided to go out and phone in to try our luck and see if they really didn’t have any availabilities, and we were surprised to have a table in 15 mins… so we just walked around, came back, and was greeted by the same man who definitely didn’t like it. Anyway we ordered coffees and cakes which were good. It’s impossible to remove any more stars as the view and the place itself were incredible, and the waitress was so lovely that she made up for that man at the entrance of the bar ! Would recommend

Seven of us went to the Lakeview Bar for afternoon tea. Everything was perfectly prepared at beautifully arranged tables. Unfortunately we sat right next to the grand piano, which was a bit "noisy". Although the musician played very beautifully, we were unable to speak to each other. Immediately after I described the problem to the service person, a solution was sought and found for us. Our place settings were very accommodating and we were allowed to sit in an adjacent room. Everything was perfect and great and the music was now a very nice accompaniment at a pleasant volume. All salty and sweet dishes were a real treat including a wonderful view! thank you very much

The 2 stars are for the location of the bar, with a wonderful view of the lake. I only had the opportunity to go there once, for an aperitif and tea. Small sandwiches were served, which overall were decent. but it is the sweet part that accompanies the tea, which they just couldn't get right. Let's start with the scones, served with three types of passion fruit jam pairings (acceptable given the others) another maybe they were figs? We will never know! The most absurd was the whipped cream or something similar, terrifying. I love (like 2/3 of the people who love them) scones with clotted cream. this left me disappointed. The other desserts, which were also of many types, we (ten guests) were unable to understand what they tasted like, and we are talking about people who enjoy food. For a place of this size, and with the prices they have...I MUST FEEL all the flavors at their best, even if reworked. Not understanding what ingredient is in it, Well!?! They are only good for taking photos, as someone posted. Scenic, nothing else.

We were there in the afternoon! It was simply wonderful! The view is breathtaking, the decor is very stylish and beautiful, our waiter was very attentive and accommodating. All of this made our family trip with 15 people just PERFECT 🌟

We spent a great afternoon at the Lakeview Lounge last Sunday. During the rich afternoon tea, accompanied by two members of the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra, we were treated to wonderful delicacies by the extremely friendly staff.

Beautiful venue. It was a beautiful evening, very good cocktails, refined atmosphere, spectacular view. Great for getting away from the routine. Congratulations to the kindness and friendliness of the guys and Chef Lisa who welcomed us and gave us useful information for our stay.

Top. Top. Top. It doesn't get any better. Perfect burger with incredibly attentive service and the view is also incredibly beautiful. A peace of heaven :). Definitely go.

As part of a short stay at the Hotel Bürgenstock, we had afternoon tea and then dinner in the Lakeview Bar with the unique view of Lake Lucerne and Lucerne. We were treated to high-quality cuisine and the best service.

The Lakeview Bar & Cigar Lounge is a great place to have a drink or eat in a very pleasant atmosphere, as is the whole Bürgenstock resort. Great service and brilliant food. The only minus was that the food was too salty - even after two previous reminders, perhaps something for the chef to look into.

When I was on the Bürgenstock in December, I enjoyed afternoon tea with a colleague, which is served in the lounge. Various salty and sweet snacks are served. These are not only beautifully presented but also impress with their taste. You also get selected types of tea in a pot and champagne. The breathtaking view and the pianist in the background completed the experience. This is definitely worth its price. I would be happy to come back as soon as possible.

My husband and I visited the Lakeview Lounge for an afternoon of tea and it was truly a wonderful experience. We sat at the window, overlooking beautiful Lake Lucerne. From the beginning, everything was spectacular - from the cocktails to the tea snacks and deserts - all with the Steinway grand piano playing in the background. We live in Zürich, so we will back; next time to try the burgers as they looked delicious!

We've visited the Lakeview Lounge for an aperitif and light lunch, views are stunning and simply take your breath away. Service of everyone was impeccable, especially Dominic Perko, who looked after us. Highly recommend all cocktails (alcoholic or not)- we've had perfect bloody marry. Definitely will be back!

Inviting atmosphere, great views, excellent drinks, delicious snacks and a super competent team - a great experience and always something very special. We recommend purchasing the “Sunset” ticket for the outward and return journey because it includes an aperitif at the bar ;)

There really isn't much to say. The view is magnificent and there are very elegant lounges with comfortable armchairs. The air is cleaned extremely well with 4 cigars at the same time. Cigars start at 10.- the drinks are priced around 15-750.- depending on the drink. We were alone and very comfortable. Don't forget the dress code! You might want to allow for a 10-minute walk to get there.

Had a very nice apple strudel, with picture perfect of the cloud above the lake.

One of the most beautiful smoking lounges I've ever seen. Large, very good ventilation. Not overcrowded, so plenty of space. Cigar selection is good, but manageable, but there is a bit of everything. Service is good. Prices are surprisingly at normal levels. Amazing view!! 20 minutes by car from Lucerne, plenty of parking spaces.
