Personale super gentile ed attento. Menù molto vario con una buona scelta anche di pizze. La terrazza fronte lago e l'accoglienza sono il fiore all'occhiello di questo ristorante dove abbiamo avuto modo si consumare alcune colazioni, pranzi e cene durante il nostro soggiorno ad Ascona. Da raccomandare senz'altro.

The service is very bad. We ordered pizza to go and waitress told us is 5 minutes to wait the order. In a while we saw that from line she was giving orders to the people in front of us very fast. But.. after 30 minutes of waiting our order, she gave order to the people who was in the line after us, and after it we were waiting for another 10 minutes. No apologies, no offering some drinks for extra waiting our order-anything!!! We ask to cut the pizza( they cut it for 4 piece in a while to all orders around they were cutting for 8 pieces normally), forgot to bring spicy oil, and once she did-it was broken. So from happy st. Valentines lunch we had only bad memories. If you guys wants to have a nice pizza and especially a good service-I’d not a right place for it.

Excellent restaurant in Ascona, we went to eat the game. Both the meat and the side dishes were excellent. We also had a beef fillet cooked rare which arrived as requested. Very friendly and fast service.

Warmth, friendliness and good food

Overpriced. Never paid 8.50 for a Campari anywhere in Ticino. Without chips, nuts or similar. Tourist tax probably included... many houses are dilapidated, shops are empty. Brissago definitely has its best days behind it...

We booked this room spontaneously in the high season. Price-performance: okay. Friendly welcome, rooms are clean and functionally furnished and equipped. Air conditioning available, but loud at night (take earplugs!). Bed wasn't our cup of tea, but that's a matter of taste. In the bar we were served in a friendly manner, but when we wanted to pay with the card on the last evening (we always did that these days), the lady wasn't happy, but it was fine. Parking directly on the other side of the street. We would come back for a short trip.

Invalid telephone number, invalid email address, reservation is not confirmed and this for a long-time customer!! A lot went wrong during our last stay in 2019. Since the new tenant took over the hotel/restaurant nothing has been going as it should or as you would like. A pity. Don't seem to rely on customers.

Cheap accommodation right on the lake promenade. The restaurant is closed, but there is something everywhere. It's an 8-minute walk to the seaside resort. But standard is rather simple.

Actually doesn't deserve a star at all. Very poorly organized or not at all and very unfriendly. We wanted to stay there with 14 people, but they no longer had any rooms available due to the change in ownership. Zero information and we were on the street. !!! Watch out!!! For older bookings! The food was miserable. The hotel or restaurant is NOT recommended!

Beautiful place on the shore of Lake Maggiore

I went with my family on a Sunday afternoon, the staff is very kind, the terrace is sunny and comfortable, the cuisine is decent. The only flaw is the presence of the manager who shouted, scolded and treated the waitresses very badly. He forced us to eat dessert that we didn't even ask for. His presence was completely out of place and very intrusive. Sin.

We eat well. And it costs little

Very welcoming, I recommend going for a real aperitif, possibility of entering with dogs, beautiful view, outdoor tables, in the afternoon there is always the sun

My expectations weren't very high, however that pizza was the worst I had in decades; the dough was burned and hadn't risen. Toppings had no taste. Sorry for not giving credit to the service which was really nice.. Apparently the cook changed a year ago which may explain better reviews in the past..
