Changing specialty weeks are currently communicated on the homepage. Could other inns learn a lesson? The portions are decent, you can also take it with you if you don't want to finish it. So far very friendly staff. But please don't stress too much.

The picture says it all. Best Cordonbleu far and wide. Price/performance unbeatable. The chef masters his craft like no other. A pleasure every time - big compliments to D. Mischler and his team.

Home-style cooking at a reasonable price

Service is very courteous and friendly. They make sure the guest has everything. Food was very good, I only found the cheese knöpfli less tasty, but it was ok. Crispy fish were very tasty. Autumn time wild time -> recommended 👍

You can enjoy good, modern country cuisine on the terrace or in the country inn. Three daily menus are available for lunch. Smokers are also welcome. The prices are fair. A family-run inn with fast and friendly service.

We were invited to a retirement and farewell party at this restaurant and were warmly welcomed. As all guests arrived and placed their orders from the extensive menu, the dishes were served surprisingly quickly. It was impressive that for a group of nine, all meals were served at the same time - truly exemplary service. The food we were served was consistently excellent. My meat was perfectly cooked and presented. I understand why it's difficult to get a table here without a reservation. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely try to get a place here. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality we received during our visit to the Landbau restaurant in Ballen.

An Aperol Spritz with your meal. 😁 But with Citro and not with Mineral. Let's take this anytime and anywhere. 🥂 For Gordon blue I took one with 🌶 and basil. Had a pleasant spiciness. 😋 A hot berry for dessert. Have been there a few times. 😎

The restaurant is located on a street, but is still surrounded by greenery and the terrace behind the house invites you to linger.

Very personable and friendly hosts, very child-friendly (high chairs are available, toy box for children available). The food (cordon bleue, fitness plate) tasted excellent and the portions are huge. The tartare that we ordered as a starter also tasted great! Payment with EC card is possible from 50 CHF.

Homemade spaetzli and rösti croquettes are highly recommended. We recommend. Also a hall for family celebrations and a large garden terrace in the countryside.

Cordon Bleu great, friendly service, reasonable prices. When it comes to paying, however, there is a setback: only cash payment! Very reluctantly, the waitress brought out a card payment device and pointed to a notice on the entrance door. We don't think it's customer-friendly to only accept cash these days. We will therefore probably not consider this restaurant in the future.
