I've been to the restaurant twice and it was delicious every time. The menu is seasonal, regional and original. The service is also very friendly and the atmosphere is cozy.

Last Saturday we were guests at the Adler with the classic car club with 30 vehicles and 55 people. When the weather was beautiful, we were able to enjoy a delicious aperitif in the garden. Verschiedene Brotsorten und zwei feine Aufstriche betonen die Gastfreundschaft des Adlers.Eierschwämmlichsuppe (mit vielen Pilzen!) und Rehrücken auf ganz hohem Niveau. Schön präsentiert und kommentiert. Der empfohlene Tropfen aus dem Languedoc passt optimal.Ein Glas Sauternes und ein kleines Eis runden diesen sehr gemütlichen und entspannten Abend ab.Als einziger Kritikpunkt fällt die schwache Lüftung auf, auch im Eingangsbereich, wo sich abgestandener Rauch aus der Lounge sammelt.Wir kommen sehr gern wieder und bedanken uns beim Team für die hervorragende Bewirtung.

Bisher haben wir den Adler anscheinend nur von seiner besten Seite kennengelernt. Gestern Abend gab es leider einige Enttäuschungen. Wartezeit bis zum ersten Gang nach Bestellung >30min. Steinpilzrahmsuppe war geschmacklich gut, schade nur dass darin gerade mal ein Stk Steinpilz zu finden war. Siedfleisch kam mit langweiliger Sauce, kein Pepp, keine Kreativität wie man es sonst kennt. Rauchgeschmak im Eingangsbereich ist eine Zumutung für ein Top Restaurant. Könnte man bestimmt mit moderner Lüftungsanlage lösen. Gefreut hat uns (wie immer) die Freundlichkeit vom Personal, Vermicelles war schön angerichtet, sowieso ausserordentlich kreative und reichhaltige Dessertkarte wie auch die Deko im Eingangsbereich hat uns gefallen.

Der attraktiv renovierte Gasthof und Hotel Adler ist jederzeit ein Besuch wert. Empfang und Bedienung sind sehr freundlich und selbst in Corona-Zeiten ungestresst. Die Wirtsstube ist gemütlich, wer es vornehmer mag kann in der Gourmet-Stube gehobene Speisen geniessen. Auf der Speisekarte findet fast jeder Gast ein ihm zusagendes Gericht. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das "Büezer-Menu" ein Tagesgericht bei dem Suppe, Salat, Hauptgericht, 3dl Mineralwasser und sogar der Espresso danach inbegriffen sind!
